The charming Glenn Cottage! Walk to Lake Michigan!

Unwind at our newly renovated Glenn Cottage. The interior has been lovingly hand crafted by us with tongue and groove pine floors, custom cabinetry, handmade bunk beds and more for a rustic, cozy feel. Enjoy beautiful Lake Michigan, located a short walk away, or take in the scenic views of the cottage from our patio and fire pit area that often include sightings of our local deer, wild turkey family and more. Then venture out to South Haven and Saugatuck, between which the cottage is conveniently located (15 min. drive)!

A new fire pit area equipped with 4 adirondack chairs, so you can relax and have a bonfire at the end of your long beach day! We've also added a charcoal grill and a Glenn themed hand-painted mural, a perfect spot to take a selfie or group photo!

We've made sure to include loads of fun board games, an outdoor cornhole game (which you can find in the closet of the master bedroom), and children's toys and games, so that every member of your party, no matter the age, can have a fun time at our home! We have a Fire TV that comes equipped with Amazon Prime Video.

We have amazing beaches located just a walk from us and others located a few minutes drive away. We want you to have an amazing beach day, so we have beach towels and a cooler that you can use while at the beach.

Our cottage can fit a maximum of 7 guests. Master Bedroom - Queen Bed (Sleeps 2); Bedroom 2 - Twin bed (Sleeps 1) with rolling trundle twin sized bed (Sleeps 1); Bedroom 3 - Bunk Bed with two twin sized mattresses (Sleeps 2); Living Room - Couch (Sleeps 1)(*Please note this is a regular couch, NOT a sofa couch or pull-out couch*)

Our cottage has 2 window air conditioning units (in the living room & master bedroom). We also provide two boxed fans for guest use.

We have new washer & dryer units,

NEW FOR 2025: Newly installed water tank and water softener to make sure the water running through the cottage is the freshest and cleanest!! FOR WINTER GUESTS: The outdoor patio furniture and fireplace will not be offered and will be stowed for the winter. We’ll make sure the driveway and patio are freshly cleared for your arrival. Since seasonal weather can change quickly, guests are responsible for any snow or ice removal needed during their stay. By booking this property, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these terms and agree to take reasonable precautions when navigating outdoor areas in winter conditions.

We enjoyed our stay at the Glenn Cottage. The kids enjoyed the bunk room. The toys and games left for the kids to use were very helpful for down times. The only negative for our family, was an excessive amount of glad plug ins. My daughter and I do not do well with synthetic fragances. We removed them during our stay and replaced them after. We are just specifically sensitive to it, others might not be bothered by that.

Glenn Cottage was ideal for our annual reunion getaway by the beach. We really enjoy sitting around and talking, cooking together, and hanging out on the beach, so it was perfect for our comfortable, low-key group of 3.

Beach Getaway

Beautiful little house. We had 2 adults and 4 kids between 13 and 6. There was plenty of room. The house was very nice and clean. I would rent this house again. Wish it was closer to the big beaches but the drive was not bad!

Perfect for a short trip

This little cottage worked well for our family of 4. Each kiddo could have their own room, nice for the littlest who still naps daily. It’s located close to blue star highway for easy access up and down the coastline. The kitchen implements could have been more robust; needed a saucepan, mixing bowl, and bettercan opener and veggie peeler.

Nice Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the cottage! Close to South Haven and Saugatuck. Just a 10 minute walk to Lake for incredible sunsets! Neighborhood is quiet. Very cool brewery just down the road. Cottage was clean and cozy!

Very quiet neighborhood

The house was set up very nice. It had everything we needed from beach towels to extra blankets. All of the amenities were excellent. Everything was clean and orderly. Very relaxing with the wildlife and quietness of the area. We were apprehensive about the road being so close to the property and fire pit but we were relieved when we noticed that the traffic was extremely low.

Great Stay!

Very nice cottage! Manager was very attentive and helpful. The town was very nice and the cottage is a short walk to the lake. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at the Glenn cottage! It was decorated beautifully and had a nice private back yard. It's about 15 minutes from South Haven and Saugatuck. It was great for a girls get away!

Cute cottage!

This is a super cute little cottage about 15 minutes away from North Beach in South Haven. The only drawback was that there were gnats in the house! Terra was great to work with and made check-in and check-out super easy.

Wonderful cottage

Our family really enjoyed our three night summer stay in this delightful house. The hosts put a lot of love and attention into the space and it instantly felt like a home away. There was also a consistent communication to ensure we had all that we needed. Highly recommended!

A Place to Call Home

My friend and I take an annual trip to South Haven. This year, we decided on an early fall trip and looked for a cottage half way between South Haven and Saugatuck. Our plan was to visit with friends who live nearby, drive around and explore the area between the two towns, including Fennville, with its interesting restaurants, farm stands, pumpkin patches, and art studios. We chose the Glenn Cottage in the tiny town of Glenn, "The Pancake Town", a name that came from a history of pancake festivals over the decades. It turns out you can still get pancakes in a small restaurant in the heart of Glenn (a cross-roads situation.) The newly renovated cottage fit the bill. The single level cottage was updated without losing its old Michigan, wooden interior cottage style. The beautiful pine floors, wood work, and kitchen counters added to that charm. The eat-in kitchen had modern conveniences, and updated touches like open cabinetry and nice lighting. The small living room was comfortable. Most importantly, the cottage was exceptionally clean and the host, Terra, kept in touch, provided useful details, and was very responsive when we had questions. We would start each day with a quick breakfast of toast and tea and then take off for a day of exploring, returning exhausted after dark, and ready for a glass of wine at the end of the day. The Glenn Cottage was just the right size for us, fit our needs, and served as a very warm and cozy place to come “home” to at the end of a busy day exploring.

We love the coastal Southwest Michigan area! It has everything you could want - beautiful scenery, great restaurants, breweries & wineries, and fun events. Our little town of Glenn is welcoming, gorgeous little town located right on Lake Michigan. The cottage is located one block from the "downtown" area of Glenn, where you can find a local restaurant, general store and other locations. Staying at our cottage, you'll be right in-between South Haven & Saugatuck (a 15-min drive to either)!

The Glenn Cottage was completely renovated by us. We put so much love into this place to make it the cozy, modern lakeside cottage that it is! It features hand laid tongue and groove hardwood floors, and custom built cabinets, wood trim, & wooden bunk bed. New for the 2023 season, we have added a FIRE PIT area with adirondack chairs and footrests. We even added a custom Glenn centered mural, which is a great place to grab a selfie or family photo! We're located a walk away from Glenn Beach on Lake Michigan, so you and your family and friends can enjoy a beach day and then come back to the cottage to relax, grill out and have a bonfire! We know you're going to love your time here.
