The Skimmer is Natures Landing Unit C-201 which is a two bedroom, two bath vacation rental offering panoramic views of the Cedar Key bayside mangrove islands. This habitat is home to countless water birds. Herons, night herons, egrets, spoonbills are some of the birds our guest see from the balcony of C201.

The interior is spacious and comfortable and equipped with Wi-Fi, Dish Network tv, central AC and heat, three tv's, kitchen with dishwasher, side by side refrigerator with ice/water in the door, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, toaster & more.

Bedrooms are comfortable too with a king in the master and twins in the guest bedroom. There is a queen sized sofa bed in the living room for additional sleeping space. Two full baths with showers. The laundry is equipped with front load washer and dryer. No carpet. The floors are all plank wood look laminate.

All this and only a minute away from the natural beauty of the bayside of Cedar Key where the saltwater mangroves stretch literally for miles and miles providing shelter for myriad of wildlife and endless kayaking opportunities for our guests.

***IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to Hurricane Helene, the dock is currently out of order. We are assessing the situation and will provide a repair timeline as soon as we have more information. ***

There is a communal pool that is heated and also an elevator for access. The grounds are well kept and offer grills, picnic tables, a fire pit a nature trail that ends with a fishing pier on the channel. On the trail is a dock for launching kayaks and fish cleaning sink.

As if this wasn't enough; equally as close to C201 is the village of Cedar Key with multiple great restaurants and seaside activities such as the City Park beach, kayak rental, boat rental, fishing, shopping and sightseeing.

We accommodate a maximum of 6 guests, and we are a no smoking and no-pets rental. Book C201 for your next Cedar Key visit.
-Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying
-Do not trespass on other people's property, this includes docks and driveways
-Please be careful where you park, don't block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
-Parties and/or events are not allowed
-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal
-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit
-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance
-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.
-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
-Please do your dishes.
-No illegal substances allowed on premises.

- ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies.
- Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°.
- If there are kayaks or bikes included in the rental, use these responsibly, following all Florida regulations. Not all units under management include kayaks or bikes, please reference the listing to see included amenities. You confirm you are trained in the use of kayaks and bicycles. You are responsible for any damages or injuries resulting from their use.
