Summary:

This vacation rental condo is set for up to 6 guests, with heart-melting ocean views and yet surrounded by nature! Get up by the sound of waves and birds and amaze your eyes with the most beautiful sunsets on the coast.



The Space:

As soon as you open the front door, the blue ocean will greet you back! This beautiful, luminous Condo with vaulted ceilings it's beautifully decorated with bright colors to light up your vacations. Located in the renowned area of Guanacaste characterised by its beautiful beaches, with blessed hot and dry weather most of the year.



The condo features 3 bedrooms. The master one has ocean views queen bed, and a bathroom with a bathtub. The second room has a queen bed and the third has two single beds, they share a bathroom and have garden views. All of the bedrooms have top-of-the-line linens, mattresses, and pillows for your comfort. Need a travel crib? No problem! Just reach out our concierge team to arrange one. Keep in mind they are subjected to availability and have an additional charge.



The kitchen is very convenient, with wood cabinets, quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances, including a coffee maker, oven, blender, utensils, cooking supplies, and all the appliances needed to cook at your ease. It has a bar with 4 stools and also a round table for 4 people. There is also a sofa in front of the TV with cable for you to enjoy your favorite show or open the sliding doors to rest at the lullaby of the waves.



Very conveniently located, close to everything yet far enough to find peace and tranquility. You'll find a walking distance a huge variety of activities, from restaurants, fresh fruits, and vegetable stores as well as yoga spots or masseurs. Only 1 hour from Liberia International Airport.



As a guest of this property, we also include complimentary amenities like coffee, sugar, basic spices, cooking oil, and shampoo/soap. The condo is FULLY A/C and stocked with other bonus items for your personal use such as beach towels, folding beach chairs, a cooler, and more!!!

Beautiful location and home

We really liked the quiet area that this home is in. Close to many restaurants and other beaches, but not busy like other areas. The beach in front is very quiet and has a gorgeous sunset. Slept very comfortably, the place is clean and nice, and communication fantastic. Would be happy to come again.

Beautiful ocean view

Clean, spacious beachside condo with a spectacular view. The management company was very attentive. Our only suggestion is to add a couple of comfortable chairs to the big balcony in order to accomodate four guests. Thank you.

Beautiful view and location!

We Love the beautiful view and sunsets from the big balcony and windows! The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were great for our family with plenty of room! Loved the convenience of being right on the beautiful brown sand beach, and our kids loved having a pool to cool off there too!

Couples get away

We loved the balcony, sitting outside staring out at the ocean and the people watching on the deck was the perfect way to start and finish our days. The host was super informative, gave us places to visit and found us the local market places to go to. The apartment was clean, beds comfortable and easy to find.

Great Location & Space

Cannot get closer to the beach or the main area of Potrero. The place overlooked the water and the whole coast. Host was super responsive. Would gladly stay again.

This place is in a great location. Beautiful sunset and on the beach just down from Hemingways. EZ walk. Well equipped kitchen and very responsive host.

Pelican Beach

Great place on the ocean. We named the beach Pelican beach. Hundreds of Pelicans feed there all day long. Not the best swimming beach but there are plenty of others to visit.

What a view

This is a well appointed condo with a glorious view of the ocean. Beds are comfy. Place was clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Abundant linens. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful beachfront condo

We had a wonderful stay in Playa Potrero. The condo sits right on the beach and the sunset view is amazing! Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked if you want to cook and the beach towels/chairs are great to have already there. Alexandra was easy to work with and very helpful in getting us setup with all of our excursions and transfers, etc. She also helped us get a golf cart, which made it easy to get around. The A/C works well. Highly recommend this condo and quiet beach town. The pool is tiny but adequate.

Fantastic condo!

Loved this place and would definitely stay again. Clean. Quality linens – towels, sheets. All the necessary amenities. The balcony was the perfect place to watch the sunset or chill and you can easily see and hear the waves from here. Perfect location – very quiet and peaceful, but centrally located and easy to get to restaurants. We had solid communication with the property managers and felt well attended to. The only slight complaint is that the pool wasn’t cleaned, but upon commenting it did get fixed. This place is a gem, highly recommend.

Nice condo on beautiful beach

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The property manager was great, fixing an issue quickly, as well as providing recommendations. We were able to check in early which was very appreciated. The beds were very comfortable and linens high quality. I wish they would have had more than two seats out on the large deck given the 3 bedroom accommodation. This is where we spent all our time when we were there, so kind of a bummer. We also didn’t have a cooler so I was really glad I decided to throw my soft pack in as well. Overall, we love this area and appreciated the quality space, great AC and gated parking for security.

Potrero Beach condo

This condo is lovely. Always nice to walk in to a unit that is as nice as the photos make it look. Third floor unit with great view of the beach and the ocean. Spacious, well furnished, great AC which was really necessary in the heat, ceiling fans in all rooms, also nice. Well appointed kitchen, nice porch with comfy chairs. The management were very helpful,altho we didn't need much. Several restaurants within easy walk down the beach. The beach itself if very quiet. Nice nearby grocery the manager tipped us to. TV remote didn't work but I think just needs batteries.

Awesome spot and amazing hosts

So.... I almost never write reviews but in this case, I really have to rave. The condo was great: clean, beautiful, and totally functional. But what really made this stay stand out was the help/service we received from Alexandra and the Blue Zone Experience. They arranged for airport pick up and drop off, they shopped for us and stocked the place with food, they set up a bunch of adventures/outings for us and in every case the pick up van was 5 minutes early (ever time) and the drivers/guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. My wife and I have traveled many places in mexico, belize, hawaii, etc., and we've never had help/service like this before. It massively reduced the stress of traveling to a foreign country and made everything easy! Thanks so much!!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay! Alex was amazing to work with. She was helpful, quick to respond and knowledgeable. The condo was clean, comfy and right on the water. The sound of the waves was our favorite part. Most of the time we had the beautiful black sand beach all to ourselves. It was not great for swimmimg, but we were happy to sit, watch, listen and get in up to our knees (we had no kids with us). There's several restaurants within walking distance and a small grocery store close by. The location was quiet. It takes forever to get anywhere in Costa Rica so if you want hustle and bustle, stay closer to Tamarindo. We drove there to go shopping and it took about 45 minutes. The pool area needs a little TLC (there's a shipping container blocking the view of the ocean), but we understand maintenance and construction is just a part of life. FYI that there's only 2 beach chairs (2 bag chairs also), so a larger group wouldn't have enough chairs on the beach (or on the balcony). We had a great time and would stay again.

Incredible Views!!

The views as soon as you walk into the condo is absolutely stunning!! We loved having the patio door and front door open to create a nice breeze through the day and evening to keep the condo cooler. The A/C worked wonderfully at night to retreat from the heat. The property management company thought of all the personal touches which you don't always find- shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, dish soap, laundry soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels were all provided, along with plush beach and bath towels. There were even beach chairs in one of the closets! The A/C was turned on upon arrival and was a welcome reprieve after bringing our things up to the third floor in the afternoon Costa Rican heat. The fridge and freezer stayed nice and cold and froze well, except the ice maker does not operate so we purchased and made ice. The blender was awesome and made great margaritas and smoothies. The beds and linens were lovely and comfortable. We loved the fact that the condo was on a dead end street which meant less foot/ car traffic and felt incredibly safe with the gated areas. Also to note that there are more owner occupied condos then those rented so it is really nice and quiet. There is a massage place right next door that all five of us enjoyed during our stay as well. You can easily walk to The Beach House restaurant and a little bar/soda if you walk left out of the condo (if you are facing the ocean walk left) and Hemingway's and Bahia del Sol is just a little further walk down the beach if you walk to the right from the condo on the beach. The only place for feedback would be the pool area (which the property management doesn't have control over and wouldn't be a deal breaker for us to book again) could use a little sprucing; I am not sure how often it is chlorinated but with heavy use it might not be a bad idea to have the filter and chlorine running on a more regular basis and the tiles are chipping away and the lighting didn't work except for a set of lights around one of the palm trees. None the less it was still a nice place to go if you didn't want to go to the beach and a welcoming environment after a long day of adventures. Overall we loved our stay at Sunset #303!!!
