Second story apartment with private entrance. One bedroom (queen bed) and 1 bath (shower, no tub). Full kitchen with gourmet touches. Relaxing water views. Convenient to Davidson College. Note: No boat or jet ski launch on this section of the lake.

Great spot by the lake

Great stay! Everything was super clean and anything you could need was at the apartment. I enjoyed staying at this pretty spot on the lake.

Perfect spot - walking distance to Davidson and nearby restaurants - beautiful lake front location, super clean, very nice hosts. Couldn't be better!

Great location and very dog friendly!

We so enjoyed our stay! The apartment is beautiful and it was very well stocked and extremely dog friendly! The host lives on the property and was super friendly and helpful. The location was close to a lot of great places and we enjoyed swimming off the dock. Such a beautiful place! Would stay again!

Perfect Stay

Lore is an excellent host and the accommodations were wonderful. The apartment was spacious, well-appointed, and had anything you’d need - plus, some thoughtful touches like extra pillows, Keurig cups, etc. Location can’t be beat. Lore is super friendly and communication was excellent. Highly recommend!!

an excellent weekend hideout

This little attic is thoughtfully remodeled, and a perfect weekend place for a couple to chill-out. The yard is so pretty and well-equipped. The owner is a true artist and has designed and arranged this place beautifully. Definitely we will come back in different seasons.

Geese, canoes and bbq fun!

Went to visit son and family. Brought them to the beach for picnic and canoes. All had a great time with bbq area, swings, water play. Host very respectful of privacy needs, yet available for any quesitons. Perfect location for going back and forth to Davidson. Beautiful sunsets and geese watching!

Lake Norman

This was the cutest rental. It was clean, beautiful and so welcoming. Everything was there that made us feel welcomed. Hostess supplied coffee pods and some yummy chocolates. We sat by the lake to enjoy the quietness. Hostess was so welcoming. Would definately go back.

My husband and I (and two shih-tzu dogs) enjoyed a wonderful week on the water in NC! The hosts were outstanding the property was perfectly maintained and the clean and beautifully furnished apartment met our needs. It is a great neighborhood location. Bonus: we were able to walk to get ice cream! It is a gem.

Absolutely stunning!

The design of the apartment was absolutely amazing and had such a loving feel to it! The location was beyond perfect. At the apartment, it was like we were away in nature. But, grocery stores and more were only 5 min or less away. Lore was very personable, responded quickly any issues, which were minimal. Loved the two furbabies that greeted us. Overall, would recommend to any couples wanting some down time!

Beautiful and Peaceful Lakeside Apartment

This is a sweet spot to enjoy a restful getaway. Lore is very kind and accommodating. The apartment is awesome and the kitchen well stocked. We loved the shower and comfy bedroom. The beautiful pine trees feel like your own private wooded retreat . The beach area is so nice with a fire pit, grill and dock. The kayaks are a plus!! We will return.

Peace & Tranquility in a beautiful loft in the woods

If you are looking for peace and tranquility you will find it here. Lore's loft was comfortable, clean and a beautiful place to stay in nature but close to town. This place checks all the boxes. But the best part is your backyard is the GORGEOUS lake with your own dock and all of the amenities (bbq, kayaks, paddle boards) or you can just sit and enjoy the view. Lore was very sweet and I can't say enough about how clean and organized the place was. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

Loved it!!

Lore is the bomb! Super nice, accommodating and communicative! Great location on the water and close to amazing restaurants. The apartment was just awesome as they thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It was super clean and well stocked. Plenty of room. I wish I had stayed long enough and during a warmer climate to enjoy the outside more. Our dog equally loved it. Thank you Lore for one of the best rental experiences I have ever had!

Best Weekend Getaway

Lore’s lakefront getaway was the perfect place to stop over for the weekend on my travels from South Carolina to Ohio. The unit is thoughtfully decorated and anointed with the essentials you need for the stay. It’s comfy and cozy! You’ll feel right at home. The outdoor area is just as beautiful as the photos (maybe even better)! Fenced in area for your pup. Literally SO perfect for a couple and their furbaby looking for a quiet lakefront getaway. Very close to a ton of good bars and restaurants. Lore is also an excellent accommodating host. She was a pleasure to meet and communicate with! I HIGHLY recommend booking this stay and we will definitely be back!

Amazing property

We had an amazing stay! The space was very clean and decorated well. We had fires both nights by the lake which was amazing. Highly recommend, Lore & her husband were very friendly and accommodating.
