Daniel's Destin studio condo

Our studio efficiency unit is located in the Sandpiper Cove resort, a gated resort with free par three golf, five swimming pools, six tennis/pickle ball courts, and an on-site restaurant, as well as a private beach. Sandpiper Cove is located in the heart of Destin and close to several shops and restaurants as well as mini golf, an amusement park and Harborwalk Village. Our unit is fully furnished and sleeps 2-4 With a queen size Murphy bed and a double sleeper sofa. We also have a full kitchen and bath in the unit. A laundry room is located out by the swimming pool behind our condo.
The unit is located approximately 125-200 yards from the beach, so a very short walk. We have beach chairs and an umbrella in the unit that renters are free to use at the beach. Also have a beach wagon for supplies if walking to the beach.
We do provide all linens, bath towels and kitchen supplies.
An on site restaurant and some other eating establishments are within walking distance of the condo. Super Target and Winn Dixie are across the street from the condo. A great, affordable way to visit Destin.

Beach stay

This condo is a great choice for your stay at Destin! Perfect location, very nice and clean and will have everything you need! The owner is super nice and responds quick to any questions you may have! My family of 4 loved it and will definitely be back!

Location was great I did think it would be a littler closer to the beach but ultimately it wasn’t a big deal at all since the walk was so easy and the beach was so nice and private. And for the price you can’t beat it. Also having the wagon and chairs and umbrella were such a huge plus that made sitting out on the beach all day perfect. The room is a bit tight but we knew that going in, and having two small children is about as many people as you’d want. I will say that the bed isn’t the most comfortable, thankfully we only stayed two nights, any more and it would have been a bit rough. But overall Daniel was super easy and made everything simple. A great host and we would definitely stay here again. 5 stars all around because at the end of the day I’m just nit-picking.

Great condo and neighborhood

The condo is perfect for 3 people and is in a great neighborhood with friendly staff and security. Keep in mind that you are staying in a place owned by an individual and not a hotel so you'll need to bring dish soap, hand soap, extra paper towels and toilet paper, etc. It has everything you need for cooking and a fun beach stay. Super friendly owner and housekeeping, and the walk to the beach is super short. We would recommend for anyone looking for a family-friendly neighborhood!

Girls trip

My best friend and I took a week to get away and we had a perfect week to do it. I stay at Sandpiper every time I come to Destin and I’m never disappointed. The people are great, the facilities are great and I always love the private beach and the feel of safety.

Beach relaxation

Just my son & I stayed for the week. I loved the location with easy access to the beach. The beach chairs & umbrella are included in this rental which was nice. The condo is small but it worked well for us.

Great for a quick stay

Location was close to the beach. There was no in unit washing machine, but there was a dishwasher. I liked that chairs were included in our rental. It was also close to the pool which was great.

32nd Anniversary Trip

Cute little studio condo. The host is very responsive and polite. There was a hiccup at check in but it was handled right away. The bed could use a new mattress but overall everything was great. The unit is a short walk to the pool, hot tubs, and beach. It was perfect for our getaway.

Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I went for our anniversary. He doesn’t ever like going to the beach more than a day or two. But this was his best trip. He loved the condo, private beach and the convenience of it all! It was a very beautiful place! We can’t wait to come back!

The condo was nice. The mattress is awful! Needs to be replaced, but other than that we enjoyed our stay. The owners were easy to get ahold of and answered every question we had.

Great place

Nice cozy apartment. Comfortable furniture . Full kitchen with dishwasher and all kinds of utensils,dishs,and pots. My only suggestion would be to update the mattress. Even though I will want to book again next year.

Sandpiper Cove did not disappoint

We had some trouble accessing the unit using the code (likely user error). We contacted the property owner. He immediately responded and it was smooth sailing the rest of the visit. The property is conveniently located a hop, skip and jump from the beach. There is a beachside bar/restaurant (the tuna tip….mmmm!).

Great Location, Great Owner, Easy checkin/Checkout Great Communication

The location of this condo complex is right in the middle of where you want to be in Destin. The unit itself is on the end of the building and is very easy to walk to the pool just 30 seconds out the back door. The owner is great and quick to communicate! Only complaint was sand in the clean sheets upon arrival and some of the finishing touches looked like quick "Landlord special" fixes. But for the price and purpose of my trip, it was a great place to sleep, cook, swim in the pool, and was a 5 minute (1/4 mile) walk to the beach!

Girls weekend

The stay was mostly great. The pull out bed was broken so one person slept on couch. We felt the kitchen could have used a few items like salt and pepper, a pitcher and maybe a few items to store leftovers in. But as a whole we had an amazing time and a wonderful first experience in Destin. Thank you for sharing your place.

Only thing good about this property is the location

When we first walked in, I thought everything looked neat and clean, but after only a few minutes of looking around, there were a lot of issues that made us both uncomfortable. First of all, the murphy bed is absolutely terrible! The platform is obviously as old as the unit and dirty. Not only that, it makes an awful squeaking noise when you move around on it and it is incredibly uncomfortable. There is no nightstand or outlets nearby for phones, ect. and you cannot see the tv from the bed. The unit has a very funky smell, and I am very sensitive to smells. We got there so late the first night that I probably would have left, but we stuck it out the first night. The bathroom was dirty and the tub takes up half the room and you have to step way down into it to shower, not to mention, there is a step up to the toilet and shower. The toilet rocks when you sit on it. The "renovations" that had been done were done badly and obviously cheaply. The only thing good about this rental is the location and access to the private beach. We had rented it for three nights, but after the first night, booked a hotel down the way for the remainder of our stay. I would not stay here again. The owner was nice and easy to communicate with, but this place could really use a total gut job and renovation that includes an actual bed.
