Room smelled of mold and smoke. Gave an elderly couple an upstairs room with pets. Was not able to regulate the heat in the room. We left after 1 day, owner was unresponsive. Would not recommend.

Great location.

Arrived on a Friday night and the neighborhood was hopping. Great location in the downtown riverfront district. Cozy room with newer amenities and a comfy bed.

Wonderful for a week or two stay, can't beat the price and everything you need. Dog friendly, separate entrance, controlled parking, nice remodel finishing up. I couldn't be happier, great mural in historic downtown!

These are small motel style rooms. The room we stayed in wasn’t the exact room in pictures, but similar. They are comfortable and cozy.

Location was great, but some traffic noise. Our 1st room, the toilet didn’t work, we contacted the Property Manager and were moved to a different room. The Tv didn’t work in the 2nd room and again contacted the Manager, we never heard back from him. We were 3 days without a TV.

Great location

Easy check-in & great location to downtown. Smoke detector beeping constantly, needed new battery. Not a big deal. TV didn't stay off for some reason but it was kind of funny. Would return to this place if hanging out in downtown Cedar Falls.

Did not get check-in info until @ 320pm when check-in time claimed 3. Carpet stains, well used furniture with condition issues, toilet needed some plumbing work. Overall clean room with just enough room for two. Kitchen fully functional with just enough cups, glasses and plates. No silverware that I could find. Parking was very convenient. Just what a motor lodge should be. Location is fantastic for what Cedar Falls has to offer. I may have paid too much. It seems I saw price come down after I was unable to change my reservation but still overall not completely dissatisfied with stay.

Great location in Cedar Falls

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and it was mostly as expected based on other reviews, a little run down but it fit our needs. The location couldn’t be better, a block off Main St where all the action is! However, communicating with the property manager was impossible. I had requested to extend our stay an extra night at least five days prior to our trip. We heard nothing back, yes OR no. Overall I think we would stay here again based on the price but hopefully you don’t need anything during your stay.

Nice place - hassle with Vrbo and Property owner

Vrbo website update caused multiple bookings. Spent the week trying to communicate with property owner and vrbo to get it straight. That worked out eventually but when we extended our stay, the place was double booked and a couple entered our room in the middle of the night. Property owner agreed to refund one night but never followed through. Totally enjoyed the place and location, just a hassle when things didn’t go right, which they didn’t.

Construction

Unfortunately, we were woken up by upstairs someone drilling into a wall. It started at 8:00 this morning. Just saying, I would wait until checkout to do that. We planned to sleep in from a night away from our children and instead was woken up by that annoying drilling into a wall sound every 5 seconds.

Great location but—

Overall we were happy. The building is an old motel which looks like each room is being renovated. The room was clean but did not exactly match the pic. Some tile was falling off in bathroom. Located on the first floor - so no natural light unless you leave the drapes open- then people can look in. One lamp did not work and we were lucky that we found the trick to turn the tv off— put the connecting wires on top of the clock. Not sure I would stay here if I was a single woman. Overall quiet but we were here mid-week. The weekend might be different

Close to everything

Nice clean place has everythingyou need in a place to stay. Stayed one night because we were just passing through but wished it was a longer stay. Extremely close to Main St where all the action is. Also close to Cottonwood Canyon "the house". Coffee and food in an old house. It's really cool and people are great there. Check it out. On Saturday morning there was an awesome farmers market that was 2 minutes walk away. We will definitely stay longe next time.
