Do not stay here, it’s on a very busy dirt road and you and the property are just covered in and breathing in dirt the entire time.

First, not sure why it asked me to rate the winery tour since it wasn’t included in our rental and it wasn’t something we did while we were there. Second, the good stuff:The cabin was immaculately clean and inviting and not full of bugs. Location is almost dead center of the Hochatown strip which was convenient to almost everything. Appliances and TVs all worked well. Bed slept well. Sofa was comfortable to sit on. Hot tub was a God-send!Some of the downsides: Location is on a busy dirt road, it’s not super quiet or tucked away. Resident neighbor has dogs that bark, but they were usually quiet during quiet hours. Location is near to the Saloon. If the Saloon has a concert, you will hear every note played. No place to put luggage but on the floor. A simple folding luggage rack or two would be helpful!Very little hanging space and only in the bedroom. Would be nice to have hooks for jackets somewhere. Cabin sleeps 4 but not with a lot of privacy. From the sofa you have a straight view to the bed through the fireplace. Overall, I’d give it an A-. If I had looked further at maps I would have noticed the location wasn’t as secluded as I was hoping. The Saloon having the concert was nothing I could have planned for but it was over by midnight and wasn’t that big of a deal to us. Cabin was comfortable, clean and inviting. With perspective on location, I would recommend to others.

My wife and I decided to come out to Hochatown to celebrate our wedding anniversary and just spend some time in nature. This place I will say was very clean, designed well, was very cozy/comfortable, and the communication with the owner was excellent. There were just a few small things we brought up (like the fire places not working, and the water filter in the fridge ringing occasionally that the filter needed changing) but they always messaged back about fixes. They fixed the fireplaces temporarily (they went out again unfortunately) and told us how to reset the filter warning so that could stop while they ordered a new filter. So I commend them on communication.The only thing that REALLY bummed us out was the location…. This particular cabin was the second house from an intersection off 259. It was the main gravel road that everybody took in and out of the neighborhood so the traffic of cars in and out was constant, there was basically no privacy (you can see and hear everybody going by from the back patio where the hot tub is), and dust was constantly kicked up outside from the passing cars. We were also right next to a farm of some sort and it had two dogs constantly barking at us. It’s really unfortunate because everything else was great. I know the owners do everything they can to accommodate and they did great, but there are things out of their control that bring the place down. Sadly we don’t see ourselves staying at this cabin again :(

The overall experience was ok. However, the mattress was very uncomfortable with a hump in the middle. Also, an excessive amount of traffic. We were sitting outside by the fire pit and on the patio and noted a vast number of vehicles coming and going. Maybe consider moving the fire pit on the other side of the cabin

Beautiful indoor, lovely out, but we were hoping for something more secluded. Photos indicate it is more remote than it is, but the proximity to the main road, petting zoo, and local bar made it very noisy and dusty. Would not reserve again, simply based on location, not property itself.

So cute but DUSTY

I saw the other reviews mentioning dust but figured it couldn’t really be that bad…unfortunately it was. Completely understand that the busy dirt road can’t be helped, but was truly unusable due to the amount of dust, like a cloud of dust came out of the outdoor sofa cushions when you touched them. We went ahead and sprayed down the patio, fire pit chairs, and sofa cushions but still weren’t about to use them so we sat on beach towels on the fire pit chairs when we wanted to be outdoors. It would be nice if the cleaning team could do this in between bookings so guests can enjoy. If you aren’t planning on utilizing the outdoor space, then this place is great! The interior is cute, our only complaint is the couch had a bit of a smell to it and the living room rug was dirty but this is all usual wear and tear I suppose. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was great! We appreciated the amenities provided (plates, silverware, etc.). We’d definitely stay here again if the dust issue could be addressed!

I received no communication today. I notified property of noisy dogs barking and property is so close to the main road. It’s not a private cabin but the inside is super cute and comfy. Outside is dirty because of the dust & dirt on the main road

Great Location

The house was in a great location right in the middle of all the great things that we enjoy in Broken Bow. It was really cozy and nice. BB had obviously had a dust storm recently so there was a lot of sand on the decks. But wasn't a big deal after we just sprayed it off with the hose so it wouldn't get in the hot tub. It was a great stay. The only change I would make is, it would have been nice to have a better grill. It had obviously been used a lot over the years. But again not anything huge. Will definitely recommend to friends and we will stay there again.

Weekend Getaway

We loved the cabin! The hosts were very prompt on communications and details prior to check in. We wished the patio / hot tub area was not visible from dirt road as there was high amount of traffic. It was very dusty and noisy so not much time spent enjoying the patio. Other than that, great stay.

The Perfect Cozy Cabin

The house is absolutely gorgeous, with everything you need for a quiet and cozy stay. The two fireplaces filled our stay with warmth, and the hot tub was the perfect place to watch Hallmark Christmas movies. Close to everything, we were never more than a 5 minute drive to restaurants, shops and the state park entrances. The only downside, as mentioned in some of the other reviews, is its proximity to the dirt road. If you are looking for a "lost in the woods" isolation, this is not the place for you. The house sits right on the road, which is very busy due to construction of new locations further down. The traffic made it pretty dusty, but we were still able to enjoy the firepit both nights we were there. The traffic didn't bother us too much, and the house was so beautiful on the inside it was well worth the time.

Anniversary getaway

Our cabin was beautiful and clean! So cozy too. :) I enjoyed lighting the fire inside and building one by the fire pit. Don’t let the dust scare you, it didn’t affect us. The only area for improvement I found was updating some of the kitchen supplies. The pans were not non-stick. I tried cooking bacon and eggs and they stuck super bad even with me spraying non stick spray. I also made nachos and cut up lots of veggies but there were no Tupperware dishes to stick left overs or half cut veggies. There also wasn’t any ziploc bags, so just come prepared with those items if you plan to cook! :) Otherwise our stay was wonderful and we loved sitting in the hot tub each night watching football with the outdoor fire lit :)

Pictures don’t tell whole story

Very satisfied with cabin, but location was not described very well. Cabin was right next to dirt road, and the dust was not good. No way hang outside without getting covered in dust. Not much privacy for hot tub either. But we made it work.
