Situated on Willow Pond in The Homestead, this charming duplex is just a short walk from the Crystal River and Lake Michigan.

The interior features modern furnishings and stainless steel appliances. After a day at the lake, guests can unwind in the cozy living room, complete with plush seating and a TV for entertainment. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing everything from full meals to casual lakeside snacks.

Sleeping accommodations include two traditional bedrooms designed for comfort, along with a non-conforming third bedroom that does not include a closet or dedicated storage space.

Step outside to the back deck to take in peaceful views of the pond. Fire up the grill and enjoy alfresco dining in the fresh northern Michigan air.

Please note: Access to the Homestead Beach Club is not included with this rental.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The home was beautifully updated and very clean with high quality furnishings and the most comfortable beds. There were plenty of cookware, utensils and kitchen supplies; dishes, cups, cutlery for any type of cooking you might want to do. The home was very conveniently located to two of the resorts pools, shuttle area and the beach. Our grandchildren enjoyed time out in front of the cottage looking for frogs, fish and crayfish in the large pond. A very tranquil area surrounded by tons of nature!!

Brookhill Delight

Lovely home with great furnishings and art. If you have a problem however, Vacasa is not helpful. Their directions to home are inaccurate even though previous renters pointed it out. Also, previous renters made good suggestions for minor improvements, but these also were not followed through.

Great quiet peaceful clean beautiful house

We stayed here for our friends wedding and it could not have been the more perfect spot. The house was immaculate with beautiful views of a pond and swaying willow trees. Great kitchen, comfortable beds just could not have been more perfect!

Can’t beat location.

The setting of this home is beautiful. The home is roomy and comfortable. Note that you do not have access to the Homestead amenities that require a pass like the beach club.

Great for our friends weekend

This house was clean and worked well for our 3 couple friend weekend. It was well stocked with pans and bathroom essentials. Only missing hot pads for the kitchen. We would stay here again.

Very comfortable

This is one of the best Homestead properties I’ve stayed in. It’s bright, spacious, comfortable, and more updated than most. I appreciated that it has 3 bedrooms suitable for adults, each with its own bathroom (2.5 baths). I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Great Condo, Close to Lake MI

Clean, really well stocked home. Fantastic kitchen with great appliances and everything you could ever think of. Very comfortable beds. Fantastic location. The only down side would be it was a little tricky to find. A Google maps link would be helpful. Other than that, can't fault it.

Great condo..pond, waterfall, ducks, geese, deer. Updated kitchen, everything great, excellent TV services. But word of caution to owners/mgrs: part of deck railing is loose and could easily fall if leaned against and has exposed nails that could cause injury!!!

Wonderful property...but,

This property would have received 5 stars, however, the towels were like paper. When everything else (ie. the kitchen) is high end, it doesn't cost that much to add decent towels. Also, in the main level king bedroom there was a large mirror leaning against the wall. This could be very dangerous; it needs to be secured to the wall or removed. Other than these two annoying issues the property is wonderfully new and fresh. The view of the pond is very tranquil and we enjoyed our time at Brook Hill Cottages 42.

Dirty and disappointing

Not as advertised. Property is indeed within The Homestead, but listing fails to state that there is no access to Homestead amenities. The home is essentially a beach house, but no beach towels (we have rented 10+ beach houses over the years, first time we didn't have this basic amenity...when texted the property manager about, the response was "not a listed amenity." The home was filthy. Below is an email i sent to the property manager which sums it up - they did not even bother to respond - - *** I am back home and have reflected on the condition of the house we rented. Candidly, it was well below what was expected from a level of cleanliness. I am attaching several photos highlighting: • Dirty walls (dirt smudged, dead bugs/guts, boogers, etc) • Dirty floor • Dead bug in a freshly made bed • Filthy mirror • The vacuum after we got done cleaning (the vacuum was empty when we started cleaning) To feel comfortable in the house we spent considerable time cleaning it – mainly vacuuming and wiping dirty walls. Not reflected in the photos were dozens of cobwebs in the wall and ceiling corners. This was not a week or two worth of cobwebs, but months. At minimum, the $180 we paid in cleaning fee should be refunded.

Great!

Modern updates, very clean, and stocked with everything we needed and more. The condo was a short 5 minute drive into Glen Arbor which we liked because The Homestead resort was peaceful and quiet, plus had a couple restaurants on the property. We were also within a 15-20 minute drive to all the attractions in Sleeping Bear Dunes.
