Good Morning America ha considerado a Sleeping Bear Dunes y Glen Arbor como el lugar más hermoso de América. Bear Haven es una nueva casa de 4 dormitorios / 3 baños ubicada a menos de media milla del lago Michigan. El interior de la casa consta de pino blanco de pared a techo con muebles de troncos hechos a medida para darle esa sensación de "Up North". Esta casa de tres niveles tiene un loft arriba que tiene capacidad para 2 personas (Queen). El piso principal tiene una suite principal (Queen) junto con un segundo dormitorio (Queen) y baño completo. El salón tiene una chimenea de gas y un televisor de pantalla plana de 50 pulgadas y reproductor de DVD. Internet inalámbrico y aire acondicionado también están incluidos. El comedor, la cocina totalmente equipada y la sala de estar están abiertas, lo que hace que esta casa sea ideal para el entretenimiento. Hay una gran terraza directamente fuera del comedor con chimenea de gas y cómodos muebles de patio que crean un espacio privado al aire libre. El área de la planta baja de esta casa consta de otro dormitorio (literas Queen / twin), baño completo y una sala de recreación. La sala de recreación tiene una mesa de billar y un televisor de proyección de 120 pulgadas para ver sus películas favoritas y concursos deportivos.

Wonderful property. We had three generations in our group and it was both cozy and provided amble space to spread out. The living room with fireplace open to the kitchen was a wonderful gathering spot and the basement game room with projection TV was awesome. We all enjoyed the pool table and 1980s arcade games. Loved the extra touches like the cards, games, and puzzles. The kitchen is well equipped and we especially loved the pancake griddle for slow, cozy mornings. The bedrooms were so quiet, too. The owners and property managers were very responsive to only a minor issue and were wonderful to work with. Great home and great location to the lake and all the Glen Arbor restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.

Great location and fantastic home

Great Place in a Wonderful Location!

Bear Haven is the perfect place to stay when in the Glen Arbor area. Plenty of room and amenities in the house for the perfect family gathering. Walking distance to the restaurants and wine tasting in town, pickleball in the park, and to the Alligator Hill trail for a nice hike. A short car ride to everything else the area has to offer.

Beautiful home, great location

Had a great time, saw some wild life in back yard. Two big bucks came out plus a bobcat. Great location for what we was doing, golfing and wine tasting. Loved the house, beautiful home.

Beautiful house with odd smell in basement.

Overall this house is beautiful and in a wonderful location. There is an odd smell in the basement that makes that space (TV/pool table/1bed/bath) difficult to use.

Thank you! We are glad that your family enjoyed our cabin and the proximity to town and the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. We greatly apologize for any negative experiences you had while staying at Bear Haven. We pride ourselves with effective communication with our guests prior to arrival and encourage them to contact us immediately with any issues that arise during their stay. With this being the cabin's first summer, we have discovered that the humidity in the basement with pine walls can give off a different smell. We have purchased a dehumidifier which has corrected the problem. Thank you for having stayed with us! Again, our most sincere apologies.

Great location

Short walk to anywhere in downtown Glen Arbor. So convenient to be able to walk and not have to fight for parking spaces. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated and very well equipped with towels, kitchen, utensils, etc.. The owners are very responsive to any questions you might have. We had no problems at all, just a lot of fun. There is an extensive backyard with a grill and a fire pit that our young adults enjoyed

Wonderful location and very helpful owners.

The cleanliness was 4/5 and the locations was wonderful. The owners were prompt whenever any issues arose. There were some left over almonds in and around the couch from probably another guest which we just giggled about and cleaned up. The grill was really dirty so I wouldn’t plan on cooking food on it but everything else was really super nice. The grill was really our only bummer as we packed a lot of grill foods. The location was beautiful and the home was super nice and well kept. This was our first stay and it was a great first choice!

High School Girl Friends Weekend

Beautiful home walking distance to Glen Arbor. Clean and well furnished. I would recommend and would return. The Campfire area is amazing. Would suggest more lighting. One of our girls didn’t realize there were steps and she almost fell into the campfire. We all laughed after we realized she was fine😂 We left you tree ornaments and hung them on the sweet pine tree. Thank you we really enjoyed your home

Perfect Family Getaway

We loved everything this home had to offer! Our initial plans were to ski and the location was just minutes from Homestead Ski Resort. Unfortunately weather did not cooperate (no snow!) so we ventured out to some cute area towns instead. Highly recommend Hop Lot in Suttons Bay. They have cozy igloos in the winter and fun atmosphere. The pizza at Cherry Public House was also a win! Back at Bear Haven, we had everything we needed (and more) for some quality family time together. We played some pool, watched a movie on the big screen, played games (there was a large assortment provided), played some classic video games (PacMan and Frogger were the faves) and the kitchen was well stocked for all of our dining needs. This three-level cozy home provided everyone their own space and beds were very comfortable. On a side note, we left something valuable behind and the owners went above and beyond to get it returned to us. We are very grateful! We will definitely be back... perhaps in the summer next time! We give Bear Haven FIVE stars! Thank you, Kevin and Gina!

4 couples spent a week in this beautiful and spacious cabin. We like to cook and the cabin was very well stocked with all the things you need in the kitchen. Even some spices and such. There is a good store within walking distance as well.The house is dry clean, the beds very comfortable, the game room a favorite after dinner hangout. The fire pit and the gas fire table are well set up to provide some outdoor entertainment during cooler evenings.Gina and Kevin have been very forthcoming with details and suggestions. We took some of their hiking recommendations and we loved dinner at The Mill (and make sure you reserve a few days in advance). They are very responsive to questions and do what they can for you to enjoy your stay so much you leave thinking about when you can come back. We did. Thank you!

So Many Amenities at Bear Haven!

This property was wonderful for a getaway with our family. Everything is clean, comfortable, and well kept. Lots of seating, beds were great, the yard with fire pit and games and the basement with pool and arcade were awesome. The kitchen was stocked well but also allowed room for our groceries, high chair etc already there was convenient. The location is walking distance to a beautiful park, Cherry Republic, and all of Glen Arbor. Glen Arbor is loaded with charm. The short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes is a big plus. The view there cannot be beat. Kevin and Gina are fast and helpful communicators. This is a beautiful and relaxing getaway spot and we would absolutely come back.

So much family fun

The house was perfect it was very clean. The location is great. You can walk to all the restaurants, grocery store, shops and Lake Michigan. The location is very private and tucked away from M22. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We used the gas grill which was great. The pool table and arcade table in the basement was fun. We enjoyed the big projector screen in the basement. Thank you for providing the baby essentials (pack and play and high chair) Every afternoon the deer would come visit us. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Wonderful Family Vacation Up North

Bear Haven was everything we needed and then some. There were 6 adults who stayed at Bear Haven. We were able to book and communicate with the owners with ease. It had everything we needed and there was plenty of room. It is at a wonderful location and within walking distance to Glen Arbor. We couldn’t have asked for a better family vacation up north!

Perfect Gem!

We absolutely love this cabin. It is truly the perfect stepping off point for Up North adventuring. The backyard and fire pit area are just perfect. The house is cozy, comfortable and so well stocked. The kitchen has everything you'd need. Our 3 kids (13, 10, and 6) love the basement area with the fun pool table and barrel arcade games. The massive projector TV down there is laos a huge hit. Gina is very responsive and provides many recommendations and answered all of our questions in a super timely fashion. Check in and out were so simple. We hope to be back again!! Thank you so much Gina and Kevin!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We love being in the village and have everything we need without ever getting into a car. We can go hiking, biking on the Heritage Trail, kayaking and swimming all within walking distance. Then after a full day of activity we can come back to our property and feel like we are miles away with the National Park in our backyard.
