Very clean and cozy cabin! It was perfect for our weekend getaway with family. We were 4 couples, and loved that this property offers nice and comfortable accomodation for couples, king and queen beds, with enough bathrooms instead of a lot of twin or bunk beds. We enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit, and enjoyed having a modern and practical kitchen.

The house was wonderful for the 6 of us including a baby. There are views of the forest at every angle and it was so peaceful. Everyone really liked the porch on the top floor. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed our stay - one of the highlights was the Apple Butter festival!

Our stay was lovely! It was a great time to turn off devices and be with the whole family and enjoy each other’s company. The community was pretty nice and had a nice pool, and the hot tub at the home was great. There was a little confusion around the checkout procedures since the on-site instructions didn’t match the rental agreement but that was sorted pretty easily. Overall, definitely an enjoyable week!

Perfect Nature Retreat

This house is lovely and relaxing. The layout is ideal for being together with everyone - as well as for hanging out separately, when that's preferred. Our adult children loved to hang out in the hot tub, while my husband and sat on the upstairs screened porch. We had a great time here. And the beds and linens were very high-end and comfortable.

Christmas Magic

Our annual family Christmas get together at Katie and Jimmys house was just what we needed. The house is laid out so perfectly for a big group with multiple gathering areas, the bedroom to bathroom ratio is key for adults traveling together and the Christmas decorations added a great homey touch. The house is tucked up away from town in the woods so it had a peacefulness that was just soothing. We cooked in nearly every night and the kitchen is well stocked, we played games (we brought our own though they have quite a few) and watched some of the many DVD movies available. We did the few “can’t miss” things in town and agree you can’t or shouldn’t miss those. It was a nice place to retreat together and unwind. Thank you Katie and Jimmy!

Family Reunion Trip

TreeTop is a spacious property with a well appointed kitchen, good beds, lovely screened porches (2), comfortable and stylish furniture in multiple gathering spaces. All in an upscale neighborhood in a gorgeous wooded setting. The host was very responsive to my questions and comments prior and during our stay. Just perfect for a big group, as ours was 8 plus family daytime visitors

Family Celebration

We weathered hot weather,a power outage,fire restrictions and the pool being closed and it didn’t damper the fun and good time had by all. The home is beautiful, well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. Internet performed very well with a houseful of users. Plenty to see and do in the area. Beach at Cacapon very nice! Great place for families!

Berkeley Springs Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this home in Berkeley Springs. The cabin was as described. We had 9 guests and were all very comfortable. Communication with the hosts was five star. While we mainly eat out on vacations the kitchen was well equipped. The screened in patio was great as well as the hot tub. The location was very quiet but close to town. Check in and check out was very smooth. We would definitely return to this property in the future.

Nice place and responsive owner

We had a great three day stay at this property with friends. It is in a great location with lots of nice walks in easy reach. The owner is super responsive (we had a couple of minor issues and she was very responsive very quickly). Definitely recommend this house!

Family Getaway in the mountains

Every year our family takes a road trip to a new destination for vacation. We picked WV as we’ve never been but love the mountains. The house was exactly as described, clean, beautifully decorated, and in a quiet location in the mountains but close to town and other activities. We cooked in every night and the kitchen had everything we needed. Katie, our host, was very communicative from the very beginning of the booking and was very responsive during our stay if we had any questions. Would definitely recommend this home and stay again.

A beautiful family getaway in WV

We were so happy with our stay at Katie and Jimmy's beautiful, secluded cabin! Our party consisted of my husband and I, our college aged daughter and her boyfriend and our two ten year old twins. We also had our dog with us, who had an equally awesome time! The community is so spread out, you hardly notice you have neighbors. There are gorgeous treetop views from every room - you feel like you are in a tree house. The layout of the home was perfect, the fireplaces were so nice and cozy and the kitchen was a dream to cook in. The decks were our favorite place to be. The firepit was perfect - it felt like we were in our own little world whether we were inside or outside. So peaceful! We all slept great for the three nights of our stay which is pretty crazy with our family - normally at least one of us has trouble sleeping somewhere new but not this time. Katie was amazing with communication, and it was a pleasure to work with her on booking the trip and a few things that popped up along the way. We will definitely be back again! Thank you for a wonderful family getaway! We made the absolute BEST memories together here!

The house was fabulous: lots of room, many different gathering spots, super comfortable mattresses! A shame we had a pretty rainy weekend, but all of us enjoyed our stay anyway. The checkout list of chores was a bit overwhelming, but we tried to oblige. Thank you!

Porch heaven

This place was heaven. Every feature was perfect; well thought out to meet any guest's needs. The upper covered and screened porch was the perfect place to relax and feel the breeze. If we were at the house, we were on the porch. Our last night, we decided not to go back into town for dinner or have a fire in the fire pit just so we could spend out last evening the porch.

Amazing

This was one of the most amazing VRBO trips we have been on. The house is incredible. Immaculate, peaceful, serene, everything we were hoping it would be. Our hosts were incredibly generous and made the whole process seamless. From the hot tub to the screened in porches, everything was beautiful. We look forward to visiting again!

Perfect for a family getaway

Katie’s house was perfect for our weekend getaway with my sisters and their families. Our nieces, ages 3, 11, and 14, had fun exploring the property, playing the board games and puzzles, and hanging out in all of the comfortable spots around the house. We all cooked delicious meals, enjoyed the local hiking trails, and relaxed on the screened-in porch and around the fire pit. The house was large enough for us all to have our own space but had plenty of places to gather and hang out together. We’d love to come back soon!

Wonderful weekend getaway spot!

I recently booked this beautiful home for a long weekend with my family. The house was the perfect size for all of us - 4 bedrooms for 8 adults, and then a murphy bed + huge couch downstairs for the kiddos. Plenty of space for everyone to sprawl out and relax in front of the gas fireplaces. Located in a nice spot in the woods, great for long walks/hikes. Conveniently located just a short drive from town, and just a mile from both a brewery and a winery! Katie could not have been a more gracious host, patiently answering my calls at 8pm when I couldn't figure out the door code and wifi situation. She even provided a nice list of things to-do around town, places to eat, etc. 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Treetop Breeze has been an amazing transformation. It was built in 1978 with a solid bones but when we acquired, it still was 1978. Everything from orange shag carpet to paneled walls, small galley kitchen and more. Our transformation to a modern rustic chalet turned out better than expected. We have appointed this home to be a very comfortable modern space for you and your friends. Being located in Coolfont Community gives you many more options for amenities such as hiking to Berkeley Springs Brewery, use of our gorgeous community pool and jacuzzi, playground, tennis courts, and simply the seclusion of being in the peaceful mountainside. As you sit on one of the two porches you will be amazed hearing the critters come alive and most likely will witness more than one family of deer grazing on the flora of our forest.

This home is such a great space for groups of friends and couples offering 4 bedrooms and 4 FULL baths. Plenty of gathering space inside and outside. Comfy beds were chosen just for you and guests LOVE the double screended in porches! Dont miss this opportunity to live for a few days among the trees.
