Live in Pursuit of Happiness at this beautiful pet-friendly log cabin in North Georgia. This Blue Ridge retreat has 3 comfortable bedrooms, a loft, 3 convenient bathrooms — with 2 walk-in showers and 1 shower/tub combo — and space to sleep up to 8 guests. With the conveniences of home, privacy on 2.5 acres, and great indoor and outdoor spaces and amenities, Pursuit of Happiness is wonderful for families and friends.

Follow the tree-lined roads to your secluded Pursuit of Happiness, where you'll enjoy relaxing afternoons by the wood-burning fireplace and big screen TV in the living room. Easily prepare meals in the cabin's fully equipped kitchen with your pup at your feet as you cook. Guests can retreat to the bedrooms for some rest, spaces that feature log furniture, natural hues, and a nice mix of bedding (including 2 king beds and 1 queen bed). There are also 2 twin daybeds in the loft.

The theater room gives movie nights an upgrade and offers a library of movies to browse. Outside, spread out across 3 levels of decks. There are 2 large screened-in decks, an open space, and a private balcony on the top level. There is also a fireplace on the deck, a grill for barbecues, and a bubbling hot tub — the perfect place to end a busy day in the mountains.

Beautiful house in a quiet area. My dogs and I spent the first half of the trip by ourselves, and loved lounging on the screen porch. My childhood friend came up partway through and we loved exploring the nearby orchards and downtown areas. Gorgeous part of Georgia and the house was perfection. Thank you!

I love my stay in this cabin. Everything was amazing. The cabin, the view, the area. The road in the mountain was a bit of an adventure but it just added to the experience. Five stars.

Weekend away

Unbelievable property with all of the special added touches to make it special!!! Perfect for family or 3 couples. Great for game day weekends in the theater room. Wonderful view, awesome decks with hot tub, cleaner than anywhere Ive ever stayed and close to Blue Ridge. Absolutely perfect weekend getaway!

Great Property

We had a wonderful stay at the Pursuit of Happiness! They had everything you could need and more. We had a family emergency and needed to change our vacation dates and they accommodated it with no questions asked. The only thing that was a bit of a surprise was the size of the kitchen. It was much smaller than expected. Nothing major, just something to consider if your traveling with a large group that likes to cook! We would definitely return!!

Fabulous getaway

This little getaway was just what we needed, this place is fantastic and so relaxing. My husband and I will definitely be back to this place. Our pup loved just laying on the porch and I loved the porch swing for naps.

Amazing Property

Very clean property that was very well appointed. Three couples stayed at the properly and all were amazed at location and the nice touches. The only complaint would be the size of the kitchen. It was very small and really could be only be occupied by a single cook.

Awesome cabin

The cabin was wonderful! The kitchen had extra condiments that I had forgotten so that was great! Very secluded but only 20-25 minutes from Blue Ridge. Very clean and would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation success

Beautiful cabin with everything we needed and/or wanted! Very cozy and inviting. Loved our views from the wrap around porch and our kids enjoyed the hot tub and movie room.

All accommodations made for pup!

This is a great place to stay if you are bringing your pup. We really enjoyed the fact that the front porch was gated, as well as the two back decks were screened in and safe for our dog to roam around and not run off. The only thing that would have made our dog's stay better would be a patch of grass. She's a bit of a diva, so using the bathroom in rocks was a little challenging. The drive in is a little scary, so definitely drive an SUV or truck. The fact that each floor of the cabin had a living space to lay around was fantastic. We especially loved the downstairs TV room. The bedrooms were plenty spacious for us. The brand new hot tub was great! And don't be surprised by the green water-- that's normal well water. They provide all the K-cups you could need for a great cup of coffee. These owners thought of practically everything. We will definitely try to stay here again.

Pursuit of Happiness

The property was excellent! Fully stocked, very comfortable, and gorgeous. The area was great, very quiet and neighbors were very friendly. Have no complains at all! Had the most amazing time and to top it off it snowed on Xmas eve! The best vaca ever in the most amazing cabin. Will definitely be back!!!

A Home Away From Home

The owners of this wonderful cabin have thought of everything! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have stayed in many cabins throughout the years, but this one is definitely the best one yet!

We loved every little thing about this cabin!

I don’t know if it was the hosts or someone else who designed the cabin itself, as well as the decor, but whoever it was, obviously crept in my mind and put every picture, blanket and piece of furniture I would have chosen myself if it were my cabin. This place was so cozy and so well thought out that I wanted to call the cabin the week after we left and tell whoever was there renting it that they needed to get out. They were trespassing in my cabin 🤣! While every room was beautifully designed, I never wanted to leave the comfort of the porch, so I didn’t. Seriously, I’m still there 🤣!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best 3 days! The cabin was perfect and relaxing. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken but that did not ruin our time. The beds were cozy and the outdoor swing was so inviting! The owners thought of everything to make our stay perfect.

Amazing fall weekend

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin is very large and extremely well equipped! We loved all of the porches and the theater room! We were about 20 min from town but we didn’t mind-we loved feeling secluded! My only negative if I have to pick one was having to go get the key and then drop it off as it was about 20 min out of our way...it really wasn’t that big of a deal but other properties have had lock boxes which just make it a tad bit easier! Again it definitely didn’t hurt our experience it was excellent! The hosts have thought of everything!

Great escape

We had a terrific time staying at the house. The home theater room got a lot of use. We really enjoyed all of the decks and nice walk around the circle. Great area as well. Blue Ridge is a great little town and lots of great fly fishing streams relatively close as well. Hope to stay in this comfy home again sometime.

get away

The cabin was incredible. I've been going to the mountains for years and I've never had a cabin so well stocked with towels, dishes, water, coffee and wood. Wish there was another way to check in to get the key instead of having to go to the rental site. It was out of our way to get there and then back track to get to the cabin.

Summer Retreat

3 generations under one beautiful roof made for a very special retreat from the summer heat. This property has something for everyone from the beautiful theatre room to the owls nest. Every room and every floor has stunning views and cozy furnishings. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a large group!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this cabin for a girls weekend and it was perfect!! There were 8 of us and everyone had plenty of space. The cabin was clean and very well stocked with everything you would need. We had a great time in the hot tub and they also have an amazing movie room with tons of movies to choose from. Another favorite was all of the porches. We loved sitting out on them in the mornings and looking out at the mountains. I will say that it was a bit of a scary drive getting up and down the mountain in a 12 passenger van, but any other car should be fine! Also, if you're planing on cooking with a lot of people beware that the kitchen is not very spacious, but it worked fine for the 8 of us. Also, if you stay here, keep in mind that the neighbors do not appreciate it if you drive the opposite way through the loop. We were not aware that the road loops around, and one of the residents was slightly upset that we went the opposite way back down since it damages their road.
