Needs upkeep and maintenance
First, I really hope this is shared with the property owner. The property manager and cleaners are not doing the owner much good.
We realized as soon as we arrived that there’s a reason no pictures of the exterior of the houses were advertised. There’s a section of exterior siding falling off the front exterior and a whole section that is separated from the back of the house that flaps in the wind. There was trash and cigarette butts in the backyard, evidently from a previous renter. There’s a large limb on the roof of the back patio, laying across utility lines. The brick chimney is crumbling with bricks scattered across the roof.
There was a key box just off the back patio that was open and sets of keys were found laying on the back deck. The storage room on the back of the 3br house was open and could not get it to latch closed. It appeared the storage door may have been forced open.
Upon entering the houses, both appeared to be swept and mopped, but not much more than that.
There was a layer of dust on top of the refrigerator and some of the higher shelves. The refrigerator and freezer in the 3br house both had gunk in the bottom from spilled items that had not been cleaned up.
For the listing itself, I understood that it was 2 houses with a shared backyard, 5 bedrooms total and advertised to sleep 16. There is no way the math works out on that unless people double up in the full size beds or even tripled up on the king size beds.
More issues to tell.
