The pool area is a great place to lounge around with friends and family or fire up the bbq grill and serve guest at the outside bar. Relaxing view from the pool house if you need to cool off or use the restroom. Once you enter the home from the back yard you will be greeted with an open living room with a huge sofa for movie night, all while mixing ylur guest drinks at the bar. Located next to the kitchen which offers a gas stove and oven. Open room in basement for more activities.

staycation

didn’t get to utilize the pool because of rain but the house was huge and had great hangout spots, the beds were nice and we had a great time here, host was easy to communicate with even after i had to get back in contact with them way after our stay about an item we had misplaced

Great weekend spot!

Overall a great place for a group - 2 moms and 2 daughters staying during a volleyball tournament weekend and loved all the space. We had hoped to have a team get together during the weekend and it would have been a perfect spot, however it was cooler than expected - having 3 full bedrooms upstairs and then hang out space with bed downstairs was perfect setup! Would book again when forecast was warmer so we could use the pool more! Great family spot!

Great house!

The house was perfect, clean and exactly what we wanted. 2 beds are smaller than we thought but plenty of space to bring air mattresses if you need them. The pool was awesome and clean, and we loved the pool house. The kitchen is full of everything you need. We were very happy with our stay and had the best time!

First visit to Louisville

Comfortable and homey. Definitely a dog friendly house so if you aren't comfortable with some stray dog hair I wouldn't recommend. A few more bath towels would have been useful for our group of seven.

A wonderful week

Our family needed a get away this summer so we randomly picked this house since it had a pool. Everything was outstanding, but the pool was a bit dirty. Didn't seem like the filtration system was working. We were constantly having to remove bugs and the jets in the pool were never pushing water. By the end of the week the water was cloudy.

Has Potential

1st night there we had to sweep the place it was covered in doghair n hotwater heater only does about 1 shower then you wait. 3rd day there the power went out n no response from owner for 16 hrs and all the nieghbors had power so it was a problem at his house. We ended up moving to hotel at midnight cause it was to cold to sleep

Disappointed

The booking description offered a pool/outdoor space. We went in summer expecting the option to utilize those amenities, but the pool was not cleaned and the outdoor space was not accessible - locked doors. There were no bath towels. There were no instructions for space and communication from owners was poor and not timely.

Overall, we had a good experience. The location was safe, but if you plan on traveling to downtown Louisville it is kind of far. The online listing says there is a sleeper sofa but that isn’t quite what it is. All of the beds were not a queen like stated. The cleanliness of the house could have been better. The trash was already full when arrived, floors did not seem to be vacuumed, swept or mopped. There was pet hair, dog poop in the yard and one of the showers was not draining properly. The price was affordable and the pool was a huge plus!

Please Read Before Booking This VRBO

This is by far the worst VRBO I have ever stayed at. The area was fine, a basic suburban area. The outside of the home was unkept, it was dirty and the grass had not been touched in a long time. I can easily overlook all of that. However, the inside of the home was one of the dirtiest places I have ever been. We spent over 2 1/2 hours cleaning just to make the place clean enough for us to stay. Here are the highlights of things that needed cleaning: the floors were full of dirt and pet hair (assuming dog), the pet hair was all over the couch, curtains, and filled the floor vents, there was urine and human hair on the toilets, every dish that we used had to be pre-washed because they were not clean. Next, the pool. So, we noticed the pool was not real clear. We just accepted it and tried to make the best of it. Supplies like the skimmer were in poor shape so difficult to keep debris out of the pool. Then while swimming in the pool, I stepped on glass. With some investigation we realized there had been a glass thermometer in the pool (hanging on the ladder). It broke and all that glass was in the pool. I was not the only one that got glass in my foot. We let the owner know and he said he would send someone to clean the pool, that never happened. So we tried to find stuff to vacuum the pool ourself. In doing so we realized that the water and filtration to the pool was shut off because of a broken pipe. The owner was aware of all of this and rented the place anyway.

Definitely would stay here again

Our stay was exceptionally well. With a few minor cleanliness issues, pet hair mainly, everything was spot on. The property owner was very easy to communicate and even called me when I messaged about figuring out how to work the tv. We had a great time and definitely will look this property up again next year when we head to Louisville.
