Father's Day getaway

Before I review a place it must meet four criteria - clean, quiet, safe neighborhood, convenient. This place checks all of the boxes. The place was spotless and we were typically less than 10 minutes from restaurants and the activities we came for(snorkeling, kayaking and jet skiing). The house was not a fancy place but a comfortable house with all of the necessary things you expect and need including the dispensers for soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. I had an inquiry and the host responded in less than an hour. The best I can say is I would stay here again without a doubt.

Great stay!

The only negative was that we wish we had more time in this home! It was updated, clean and quiet. We had everything we needed, and loved the tiki hut in the back…great for games or just hanging out. Thanks for the awesome stay!

Perfect Key Largo House

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made a good choice to stay here. The online pics just don't do the place justice. The house was sooo clean, including the outside spaces too, stocked w/all the kitchen utensils you'll ever need. Plentiful supply of things like T.P. and paper towels and trash bags, towels for days. An 80 inch tv was nice too when the time for it allowed. Honestly, the lanai and backyard gazeebo kept us away from the tv(LOL). Morning coffee and evening drinks just begged to be enjoyed from the lanai which has tons of seating and covered and a powerful wall mounted fan if needed which we did not during our time.The beds including matresses, pillows, and sheets felt like home...clean comfortable. We slept like babies, so quiet in this neighborhood.Both showers are what I wish was in every place. They are wonderfully constructed with thought to safe flooring, awesome sliding glass doors, shelving and more than adequate water pressure. Modern toilets and bath sinks really show the attention given to an important part of the home.The internet is possibly the fastest wifi we've experienced. Virtually no lag time. Best in class and I'm a tad picky about that.The parking at this home is as stellar as the place itself. We felt very secure here. Neighborhood could not be quieiter and yet oddly within walking distance or a 2/3 minute drive to daily essentials like groceries and restaraunts or gas stations.When we come back, it'll be here!

Clean, comfortable house on a quiet street

We shared this house with my 80-something parents and we all agreed it was a perfect place to stay. The large screened-in porch was perfect for reading and, later in the day, hosting happy hour. The kitchen and induction stove was well laid out, and the outdoor grill came in handy. The bathrooms had large showers and the entire house was very clean.Our only suggestion would be to put a chair or two in the living room. The large sectional sofa wasn’t a good place to read a book, although it was fine for watching a movie on the large TV.The check-in and check-out process was very easy and we got very quick responses to our emailed questions. The house is on a quiet street and the fenced-in yard felt very secure. We would definitely recommend this house as a wonderful place to stay.

Snorkeling trip

This is the first time we rented a house, rather than staying in a hotel. We chose a house rather than a hotel because we were traveling with our two children who are grown and thought a hotel room or two would be uncomfortable. Besides, I didn't know what to expect from the roadside hotels availalbe in Key Largo. I didn't do a lot of searching or research, I chose the place based on location. When we arrived and walked in the door, we were blown away. The place was immaculate. It was a mini resort stay with all the comforts of home. The house was clearly, completely renovated. It was perfect for our family of 4. I would stay here again.

The Home is newly renovated and very nicely done. The kitchen Is new and very well equipped. Both bedrooms were spacious each with their own bathroom, The oversize living room gave us ample space. We were close to some excellent restaurants which were only a short 5 to 7 minute drive. We highly recommend The Fish House. Overall we were delighted and very appreciative with the accommodations.
