Relax and unwind in our brand new 4 bedroom home located in Sudden Valley with plenty of room for your whole family. Enjoy the relaxing views of the nature as well as the hikes, lake, golf course, local restaurants and everything else that Sudden Valley has to offer. Only 5 mine drive to the Sudden Valley Marina.
If you'd like to visit the city, it's only 20 minute drive to downtown Bellingham and about 65 miles to Vancouver BC and Seattle.
Don't be surprised to see the visitors (deers) during your stay.

Beautiful, quiet, secluded hilltop location. Perfect for our family and friends Thanksgiving getaway. Clean and well appointed. The ping pong table and hot tub were fun distractions. Cooking was pretty easy and convenient.

The house was fabulous. The rooms and amenities were top notch. There were activities in the house (table tennis and board games) to keep everyone entertained. There was plenty of space to allow my class to host a study potluck, though there is limited parking. The driveway is steep but manageable. The hot tub was a very nice addition and the firepit was nice though we couldn't enjoy it as much as possible due to weather. I would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Property Gorgeous Surroundings!

We loved staying here for our sibling reunion! The home is beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet and the views of the trees are amazing. We came in late April and enjoyed local dining & shopping, as well as the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in Mt Vernon and two tulip festivals in Canada (Abbotsford and Harrison).

The property was incredibly well maintained. Our host was really easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. Lots of kitchen appliances, which was great as we cooked a lot. Really easy check out process as well. This was by far one of the best properties we’ve stayed at!

Harbor View Haven

Our Pacific Northwest vacay couldn't have been better. Sudden Valley was tranquil, picturesque, and welcoming. The Rock surpassed our expectations and accommodated our group of 11 perfectly. Nearby were some of the highlights of our stay: Whatcom Falls Park, Stimpson Preserve, and the Lake Whatcom beach. Our boys ages loved the hot tub, the balcony, the basketball hoop, the neighborhood park and deer spotting. Within a few minutes we could be on our way to Larrabee State Park, Fairhaven, and Vancouver. All of us much enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Great time!

I hosted a group of friends for a mountain biking weekend and we had an awesome time here. The house was as nice or better than the pictures showed. We had four SUVs and trucks parked in the driveway and out front without any problem. The garage was perfect to store bikes in. The living room couch was SUPER comfortable, but we brought the soft blue chairs from upstairs into the living room too so that everyone had a comfortable place to sit while we hung out. The kitchen had everything we needed and was really well stocked. The only issue we ran into was that the hot tub displayed an error code and wasn’t warm our second night but we reached out to the property manager and she promptly provided instructions to fix it. Overall, wonderful house and wonderful time.

Baby shower/Thanksgiving gathering

We stayed here for a multi celebration stay and could not have been happier with the house itself. Super clean and modern, plenty of space for everyone and the hot tub was a lovely treat! The house had all we needed for cooking our Thanksgiving food and bathrooms and bedrooms clean and accommodating. The one draw back was that it was a bit of a trek to get to the house but overall worth it. Thank you for a lovely accommodation would highly recommend!

Easy and Awesome

Great spot to gather with family for a celebration of life. Loved how flexible and responsive the host was - thank you! Hot tubbing in the snow was a blast and the place was well stocked with small items like salt/pepper, oil, coffee pods. Just so much easier as grocery stores are 20 minutes away.

This house is an incredible getaway. New. Modern. Fully stocked. Wonderful and creative Hot Tub location with an amazingly designed path to the hot tub. Plenty of room for all of our family / guests. The house is well-lit. Warm fireplace. Plenty of throw blankets for cozying up. A beautiful deck overlooking the area with an amazingly relaxing suspended recliner swing to lay back in. You just can't go wrong in renting this home!

Amazing property

Beautiful home nestled in a equally beautiful neighborhood in Sudden Valley. We stayed here for a wedding being held in Bellingham and loved that it was about 20ish minutes away. Very well equipped and stocked with everything you could need. Highly recommend this property!

Sudden Valley Golf

Great place for a summer golf getaway for a group. The home is basically new, spacious, well appointed: just beautiful. Location is spectacular, in nature with trees, lake wildlife (we had momma and baby deer come visit out back in the mornings). It is 20-30 minutes to great golf courses- not to mention Sudden Valley GC which is 2 mins away and a gem. Also shopping, bars, casino, restaurants and all amenities just a 15-20 min drive away. Hostess went above and beyond as well; great communicator who made it a wonderful trip at a beautiful property.

Family vacation

This house was perfect for my extended family. The kids loved the bunk beds and the bedroom bath combo on the first floor was perfect for my parents. The house was clean and spacious for our family. The added bonus of the playground down the street was nice too for the kids.

“The Rock” is the perfect place to host your family, your friends, or your colleagues. My group had an excellent time in Sudden Valley. Golf, mountain bike, catch up with friends. You will have a fantastic stay.

Enjoyable newer home with modern amenities

The house is clearly a newer build and with some luxury upgrades that were fun to experience (rain shower heads). The house is best suited for young adults or families with older children due to the flights of stairs needed to get to the main floor and somewhat treacherous walk to the hot tub. The entertainment spaces are great, and while the double oven was a wonderful thing to have available (we love home cooked meals), the finicky electric stove top and tiny bbq grill definitely presented some challenges for the chefs in our family. Our only real complaint we had is the location of one of the exterior security ring cameras. It was pointed directly at the hot tub. Being that our group on this trip was all the brothers (and some close friends) in our family, we didn’t mind, but I wouldn’t want my daughter or nieces using the hot tub knowing they were being recorded or possibly watched. Adding a privacy fence around the hot tub to block the camera would’ve been appreciated, S well as a hand rail to the porch. The sandstone walkway was slick!
