It even has a view of el yunque national rainforest. As well as a lake on the side of the home. Want to rent a kayak or jetski? Its only less than a mile away. Hungry for some typical Puerto Rican food? No worries, food trucks available near neighborhood. Nuestra Casita Humacao is the perfect place to getaway and experience Puerto Ricos nature and culture with those you love. Suitable for children, pets, and up to 11 people!! Neighbors are great and helpful. The quietness. You hear the frogs at night and the lizards diving into the lake. The chickens walking around the roadis cool. Close to all stores and eateries. Beach is walkable. You can hear the waves at night. Our family love it there. The personal touch is heart warming. A family welcome note on the counter touched us.
Soon as you walk in. Made you feel wanted.

Home away from home

Unexpected treasure. Quiet neighborhood, very clean house the host was very attentive to our needs. Bath towels, beach towels were available plus beach accessories which were a plus, we spent our trip beach hopping. It was great to return after a long trip to a cozy home. Overall the best stay

Wonderful time with family

Overall stay was very nice. I enjoyed the privacy area at the pool area. The house was clean and much better than staying at a hotel with family. We will be returning.

Beautiful peaceful place

I loved staying in this beautiful home we chose this location bc it is close to my MIL & the pool for our babies Annie the host was so responsive, helpful, and really went above & beyond to make our stay wonderful

My husband & I came to stay for the 2nd time & it was our 10 year anniversary our family lives close to the house so its very convenient for us & has a pool for us to enjoy house is clean & we will be back again 😀 communication with host is terrific which is also so impressive

This place is a Gem

This property had everything we needed. From cooking utensils to beach chairs, beach umbrella, life jackets for the kids, games, toys, high chairs, etc. Great salt water pool and outdoor space, including a covered car port to sit under if it’s raining. Location was ideal for our family,close to a grocery store, restaurants and El Yunque rain forest is a short drive. A recommendation from one of the neighbors was to go to the El Hippie waterfall and swimming hole a short 20 minute drive, what a great place and we spent several hours swimming and laying in the sun on the rocks. Also, listen for the ice cream truck.

Unwind

Great place to unwind and recharge your batteries. The house has everything you need if you want to stay in. Plenty of restaurants located within 20 minutes. Pool and backyard is amazing. Definitely coming back again and highly recommend.

Beautiful home

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean and beautiful. Only down fall was the roosters that would make noise in the middle of the night/morning. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay here!

First PR vacations

The house was clean and had everything we needed. Even feminine most needed things. We loved it so much, we didn't want to leave. The birds, the frogs, the lake was an amazing, perfect getaway. We hope to be able to stay again soon.

We enjoyed staying at this place. The pool, enough place for all of us ( seven guess) and all we need for having a nice vacation. The manager Annie was amazing. Did everything to help us with anything!!! She's an guardien angel 😇

The home was beautiful nice quiet area. Really enjoyed the pool area. Was with out light for one day. Nothing to do with host or home. Would recommend to have generator for back up.

Beautiful home

This home was amazing it was fully equipped with everything and when I say everything I mean everything down to a crib and high chair which was very handy for our little one that we brought with us the pool was amazing and very beautiful the kids loved it the house accommodated 8 adults and three kids and the host was very good at communicating with us even sent us info of some things going on around town when we decided to come back to Puerto Rico we will definitely be using them again and would definitely recommend them to family and friends

Amazing Stay in Punta Santiago

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming Vrbo house in Punta Santiago, and it exceeded all expectations. The location was absolutely ideal, nestled close to the beautiful Caribbean coast and within easy reach of other nearby towns, making it perfect for a laid-back yet adventurous vacation.The house itself was cozy and well-maintained, with a spacious interior that allowed for both relaxation and socializing. The open-plan living area was bright and airy, and the kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals when we wanted to dine in. Bedrooms were comfortable, offering restful nights after a day of exploring.One of the standout features was the outdoor space. The patio area provided ample space and was a great spot to unwind, whether it was enjoying morning swim or sipping cocktails at sunset. The property was also a short drive away from some lovely local attractions, beaches, and towns like Humacao and Maunabo, giving us plenty of options for day trips and dining out.The hosts were incredibly accommodating, providing us with useful local tips and ensuring our stay was as smooth as possible. They were responsive to any questions or concerns, which really added a personal touch to the experience.Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful yet convenient spot in Puerto Rico, this is the place!

Great vacation in Puerto Rico

The property was as listed. Just the right size for our family. Beds and sheets were really comfortable. It was nice having AC in each room and we could control them ourselves. Hot water was available when needed. Only 1 day of lost power but the owner kept us informed of when it came back on since we were gone for the day. Towels were in good shape, including beach towels. Stayed at other places where the towels were worn. Neighbors were friendly. It was neat seeing the iguanas and other wildlife. The rooster next door was a little bit of a nuisance in the middle of the night. Great place to stay if you want a true PR experience. Would stay here again. ❤️

The property itself was really good. They went above in some details, like having coffee and some essentials but lack in the basics, there was no soap or additional Toilet paper, and bugs products. The lakeside, was not a lake was stagnant water that created a lot of mosquitos and bugs. They provided some left over citronella candles with no matches or lighter to light it up. The hours of check in and check out were not the same as the reservation which made us wait to check in and leave earlier that what we expected. All the dinning options and places to go suggested were closed and we needed to go long distance to get essentials. Overall the only good thing was the pool which with the bugs couldn't enjoy fully.

Perfect for home away from home

What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get and it was great! The house is the last house next to a small lake in a quiet neighborhood. The neighbors were so friendly to talk to. The pool was priceless for the kids on the days the beaches were on red and when it rained and we couldn’t go to the rivers. The washing machine was a life saver. The AC’s in each room kept us cool. There was plenty of room inside and outside for everyone to hang out and lounge and not feel crowded. The host was awesome. She provided us plenty of food options in Humacao that we definitely took advantage of. She checked in on us midweek and was very easy to contact. There’s a food truck park called con tenedores which was awesome and only about an 8 minute drive. We also found Crepes by Us with their amazing breakfast/lunch menu. I liked there was a Walgreens and a Walmart Supercenter not even 10 min away for groceries and last minute items. And I like this home was in a flat area, with no hills or deep inclines. If you drive in PR you know there are high windy roads with deep inclines and I was not having it. But this home was very easy to find and drive to with the GPS. We were also literally a 2 min drive from the Humacao Nature Preserve that had kayaking. It was awesome. This was a 10/10 for my family and definitely will be happy to go back.
