This loft is located in a lively Downtown Detroit neighborhood. This industrial building was converted from an old coat factory into industrial lofts. The walls and floors are not sound proof so guest can expect to hear neighbors from time to time.

If you are looking for a 100% noise free stay, this loft may not fit your needs.

This space is also great for photo shoots, content recording and business meetings as well.

The rental looked just as pictured and was very clean. I had trouble getting in the parking lot gate (the host was responsive) but it did delay me and I ended up parking on the front street. My car was fine! The posting is honest in that if you're looking for something quiet, this may not be for you. I was mostly gone, but when I was getting ready for my engagement, I could hear someone's phone call word for word. I was also waken up in the middle of the night by the person above the unit walking around in heels--it sounded like they were IN my unit. Lastly, it was colder than I'd like, as the furnace is the only way to control the heat (plus a space heater). It's an industrial loft, and while it's decorated very chic-like, it definitely has the elements of an old building!The host can't control most of this, but the cold and thin walls personally weren't for me!

The loft was clean, cozy, and comfortable! Betty made it very easy to get the keys and was able to answer all questions! The living room ceiling fan just needs a new string to be able to turn off the fan. A throw blanket for the couch would have been nice as well. Overall I’d stay here again!

Location allows for a 15 - 20 minute walk to people mover (Fort/Cass station) or to Michigan Ave. We did use Uber one time, we were picked up within 10 minutes and the cost to michigan ave. was $14.00 which included the tip. Parking on the street was great as we were 20 yards away from the front entrance. The loft provided us with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay!

Check in is a little confusing, you can park in front or back but to get the key you have to be in the front. There was no hot water when showering & the ac units can’t keep up. Not the best area & you can hear everything. Which is understandable.

The property was exactly as pictured, very comfortable and interesting history! Check in was different but the host provided detailed instructions. The neighbors were a little noisy overnight but, overall, great experience!

This unit is not downtown—-it’s in Corktown. The apartment is fine but the building it’s in not so much. The neighborhood may be safe but the condition of the building and parking lot didn’t make me feel safe. Ii’s also very loud—you can hear every movement in the adjacent units….

Extremely comfortable bed! I really enjoyed my stay. The building has character and is obviously older but the loft itself is beautiful and very comfortable. I was able to walk to breweries and other downtown activities were a short uber away. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I have to come into Detroit every week to work. We have stayed at probably 12 different apartments and this was the absolute best. The furniture was so comfortable and the building was super quiet and peaceful. Absolute 10/10 for us.

Exactly what I needed

I had a fantastic stay. It was hotter than hades outside but the loft stayed nice and cool with the ac going. Listing mentioned possible noise issues but that was not my experience, even with the Ford fireworks going on, I slept like a baby. Bed was insanely comfortable, and the entire loft was so cute and cozy. I absolutely loved how close it was to everything also, very convenient location. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.
