Escape to this stunning urban oasis with a resort-style cabana! This spacious, beautifully modernized 1938 bungalow offers both charm and convenience. Step outside to a private retreat with an in-ground pool, putt-putt, fire pit, and cabana featuring a smart TV, half bath, and dining space. Nestled in a vibrant neighborhood, you’re just a stroll away from local coffee shops, dining, bars, and CrossFit. Experience the perfect blend of relaxation and walkable city life at this peaceful getaway.

The Space

Completely renovated 1938 bungalow with plentiful space both inside and out. The home features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, living room, dining room, and a private sunroom.

All guest rooms are equipped with memory foam mattresses and smart TV's for our guest's comfort.

Guests have private access to the entire premises including the home, pool, and backyard which exclusively for guests private use. Smart lockbox for contactless check-in and check-out. Guests are able to check-in anytime hassle-free without host interaction. Early check-in and late check-out options are available upon request and availability.

The pool is an open and obvious hazard. At no time is there a lifeguard on duty.

Guests are required to sign a pool liability waiver prior to check-in.

For liability purposes, this home requires an accurate headcount. We require only allow the allotted number of guests confirmed in the reservation on the property at any time during the stay. Guest fees apply to reservations over 8.

Amazing place to vacation

The home was clean, the pool was amazing and qe couldn't have loved our time there any more than we did. The location is convenient while you still feel like you are away from everyone while enjoying the pool and back yard. The check in was seamless and communication was timely and helpful before and during our stay. Thank you so much for providing a perfect vacation stay!

Perfect lil’ Bungalow

My family and I used this rental while staying in Columbia, SC for a basic training graduation. The property was clean, which I greatly appreciated. The beds were extra comfortable and the backyard was amazing - a bonus for sure! I would highly recommend staying at this property.

We had a fabulous time at the Cola’s Hideaway. We were in town for a gamecocks football game and did a pregame tailgate using the grill and backyard space. The cabana and the outdoor television were big pluses. The house is in great shape and it fit our needs perfectly. There are also a couple restaurants within walking distance so it was fun to explore the area. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Great home

This was a perfect halfway stop on the way to Florida. Didn’t want to drive 12+ hours in a day so we made this fun house our half way stop. Great pool, spacious home very nicely decorated. Ordered pizza from a local brick oven place which was delicious.

Wonderful Place!

The place was immaculate. The pool area is exactly as pictured. My family and I enjoyed the house and the furnishings were modern and perfect. The host was spectacular. We required an item and he delivered very quickly. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Beautiful property, immaculate and well appointed house. Property manger is very helpful and quick to answer any question. Our son goes to Uof SC so we will definitely be back! I highly recommend!

USC Move In Time

Came a few days early to get organized for sophomore year move in. Was a great spot, minutes to the storage unit and school. The outside pool area was a fabulous treat in between Target runs. Nearby restaurants, safe, quiet neighborhood. Very clean. Will stay here again!

The home and backyard oasis were even more beautiful in person! My son was graduating from Fort Jackson and it was only an 11-15 drive to get there. We had family come down from NY so it was a perfect property for us to enjoy and relax. Everything was clean and looked great!

Soldier Graduating BT, stay here

My son was graduating from Army BT and I was looking for a place that the entire family could stay and enjoy. We couldn't have been more happier with this property, it's everything advertised. The kids loved the swimming pool as the adults were able to sit and relax outside while watching TV and grilling out. I think the only time we were actually inside the house was to go to bed or take a shower. Tim was very responsive to every question I had during the reservation process. I would recommend anyone to stay here, one day or a week, can't go wrong. FYI, soldiers are not allowed to leave post on family day if that is reasoning for visit.

The backyard made our trip!

This house was one of the nicest I have stayed in Columbia. It was set in a North Columbia neighborhood with 2 coffee shops and a cute indoor marketplace within walking distance. Host communication was responsive and thorough. We were a group of moms staying together for our boys' UofSC fraternity moms' weekend (they are roommates and for one weekend, so were we!). The place had everything we needed for our weekend activities. The beds and pillows were comfortable and there was ample seating for us to have our coffee together in the living room. We invited our sons to join us in the amazing backyard to watch the football game and enjoy appetizers and drinks, and it was a great success. The weather was perfect for backyard football watching before we headed out to the other activities they had planned for us. We have already talked about coming back next year! Thank you!

Solider Ceremony

We went to see our son graduate from basic training and wanted a place to relax after our long drive. This was close to the base and had all the amenities we were looking for! The entire family was able to just kick back and relax and our son really enjoyed the pool before we had to transport him to the next base. Communication with the host was a little iffy to begin with but after that they answered everything in a timely manner. If you have a large group like ours, I would recommend getting paper plates, plastic ware, cups and if you drink LOTS of coffee might as well pick a box up as well :) Otherwise you might be running the dishwasher multiple times lol. Overall it’s a lovely old home in a beautiful neighborhood. The driveway is steep and ended up scraping backing out- so we just parked on the street. I believe everyone in our party enjoyed their time and didn’t really want to leave :)

Great place with Amazing Pool!

Wow. I never felt so special checking into a place before. The owners communications were timely and polite. Then we started receiving updates a few days prior to checkin that were very clear and concise. Upon arrival I was greeted with a handwritten note welcoming me with a nice little baskets of snacks. The place was immaculate and just as charming in person as it showed in the pictures. Nice home updates and very modern feel with the furniture and accents. The backyard and pool was absolutely stunning. The pool was HUGE and the putting green was a nice touch to have some family fun. The patio and porch was so nice and gave you the feeling that you were in your own home. I wish that we had the nice sunny weather the weekend that we rented so we could enjoyed the pool fully. We did take a polar bear dip in the pool but that was about it for this trip. I would definitely be back should my travels bring me back to Columbia, SC. Thank you for making us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay!

Pool was listed as a heated pool. Found out later the pool heater was broken/pool heater was unavailable. Was told that part of the listing should have been taken off the home description but apparently was not. Huge part behind the reason why I rented this property. Home should also be listed as "non kid friendly." As the property has several neighbors and are only in arms reach of each other. But also is very very strict on noise. You can hear almost every noise made as the house echoes and we can also hear the neighbors. If you have young children, you must keep them quiet the entire time. Not sure if this is suitable for a family vacation. To have to keep your children on a whisper level the entire trip. Home is more suitable for quiet couples just staying in town for a few days. Host was okay. He helped us get into the home when we had trouble with the lock. He had to reset it. Lady I spoke with about the heater for the pool was rude. I was a little taken back when she stated that I should had asked about the pool heater ahead of time. Not sure why anyone would do that when it simply states on the listing that there was a pool heater to heat the pool and can be used year round. Common sense who would use an outdoor pool during the winter season without a pool heater? I should not have to ask if it clearly states that on the listing post. If thats the case, then I should ask if everything else in the home was working as well. Will not rent this property anymore.
