Neither of us wanted to leave! If Heaven has a showroom here on Earth, then it must be the master bedroom, deck and river shore of this beautiful home. Not only was it extremely clean, but the hosts were checking in daily to see if we needed anything. Our only regret was not bringing bathing suits to not take advantage of their private river area.Marta and Alex

We found the property as advertised. It met our needs as we used the location to head out and explore the surrounding area. The house was well maintained and the view of the river with sound of rushing water was very relaxing.

The most peaceful stay

The property had everything we needed for a comfortable and peaceful stay, the river running behind the property is simply magical. I’ve rarely had so many peaceful and restful morning sipping my coffee, watching the river and enjoying the peace and quiet. Would stay here again!

Absolutely Amazing!

Riverfront Paradise

My young adult children and I enjoyed three days/nights at this lovely home on the Lewis river. Truth be told, this house and the one next door were owned by my grandfather (circa 1965-1989) and this was my childhood playground. This trip was a nostalgia tour for me and a chance to share family stories with my children. The house is immaculate and very well maintained. My grandfather would have been impressed! Whoever gets to stay here will indeed feel blessed by the magical vibes of the rushing rapids and beautiful trees, musical birds, and friendly quiet neighborhood. Glorious space! Book it! Keep it sacred!

My 20 year old granddaughter and I stayed in this wonderful river front home. The hosts are very considerate and thoughtful adding special touches to make this home a special, relaxing retreat. We were visiting family here and would definitely stay here every time we come to this area.

The perfect spot

Cute house right on the river! Loved hearing the rushing water.. enjoyed exploring the area hikes and waterfalls. Close to town.. had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

River House Rental

I and my family loved the house and setting. Everything was in tiptop shape, very welcoming and just provided us with an awesome setting as we got together for a family visit. We were so pleased with the house, we felt we could all just live there. Ha. We would love to stay there again. The river just outside the rear of the house was a real surprise and we loved it as well.

Lovely home and stay! Highly recommended.

My brother and I needed a place to stay for a 3-day visit in the Battleground/Ridgefield area. We were looking for a quiet location in a lovely area. Cory and Meredith's place worked out perfectly for us! Not only was it next to a river, but had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, which allowed us our own spaces. The kitchen was well-stocked and the living room very comfortable, for those evening chats. Every outing we wanted to enjoy was within a 30 minute radius, and the drives were all beautiful. We experienced an issue we needed help with, and the owners' responses were immediate and very caring. They even continued to communicate to make sure that everything was resolved. I highly recommend their home!

What a great getaway...

This was a great property. Very Clean and had everything you needed to have a great stay. The location was perfect for what we were looking for and the river is absolutely beautiful. It is off the beaten path but close to many things. It is also very private and quiet considering there are other houses nearby. What a relaxing time.

Awesome house right on the river!

Beautiful house and garden with deck overlooking the East Fork Lewis River. Very peaceful and quiet, with fishing available just steps away! House was well stocked and the owners were friendly and responsive.

Outstanding experience overall - location is amazing

Whenever I had a question, Cory responded very quickly. Even when I needed a step stool, he offered to have someone bring one to us! The living room desk and chair were comfortable. The kitchen was nicely appointed, and had fresh coffee beans! The plates and bowls were perfect for us. Everything was thoughtful. I LOVED that there were no smells…. Good or bad. No laundry scents of any kind, which is a solid 5 stars. The deck is super safe for being outdoors on a hill to watch the Lewis River. The front yard / porch area is gorgeous and a tranquil place. THEY WERE WONDERFUL & I DIDNT ASK QUESTIONS. MY FAULT! This will not apply to most of you, but those who have trouble walking over uneven ground, or sleeping on a super high bed, or could use a shower chair, might have issues. I LOVED MY STAY HERE!! #1 The beds are really tall and at 5’5” and just having back surgery, I couldn’t get in. Cory offered to bring a stool. This is when I realized they were young and healthy. My really fit husband didn’t care for the height. #2 The front yard is flagstone not laid perfectly evenly. I had to watch my step with the walker as I just had back surgery. #3 There are 2 different sets of 2 steps on front entry. #4 A small shower chair ‘might’ work in the main bath/shower combo AGAIN, WE LOVED OUR STAY. IT WAS SO WORTH IT,

Fantastic River House

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at River House. The views and sounds of the East Fork of the Lewis River were so relaxing. Local parks, waterfalls and beautiful hikes were close by. The house was very clean. There was not a single item that we wished we had that was not already there. The owners were very responsive to my questions. The check-in, clean-up and check-out processes were straightforward and easy. We only wish we had more time to stay longer. All the best.

AMAZING HOME!

I have had the privilege of staying at this amazing river house a few times. Every time the home is impeccable, the owners are communicative and there is even fresh ground coffee waiting for me! As I travel for business to the PNW every month, I have decided that THIS HOME is where I will stay each time. Convenient enough to freeways yet secluded enough to get home after a long day and take in all the backyard view has to offer. If there was a way to give it more than 5 stars I would!
