We had a wonderful 9 night stay. Good location. Great access to local food that you can walk to. Enjoyed walking the beach path everyday and interacting with the vendors when they came out.

This view was incredible and it was nice having easy beach access and a place to eat on the property (Duke's). Our party of 6 made good use of the kitchen and the large dining table. I used the beach chairs provided in the closet too. Was really happy with the communication of the host company. They answered all of my questions promptly including differing arrival and departure times for my group. Would recommend!

We come to Honua Kai every year and we have stayed in over 10 different units. This one is my favorite! The layout and location is so great. Amazing views. Nice unit that is HUGE and can easily sleep a large family with lots of space. The host is amazing and responsive. We’ve dealt with a lot of the management companies during our stays at Honua Kai and this one has been the best for communications and responsiveness. The best!

This place is incredible. We would definately stay here again. Everyone was so friendly. The views were incredible. The pictures were spot on. There was room for everyone and then some in the unit. We had sea turtles show up on the beach! This is the location to be!

Pool and amenities were very nice, limited seating around pool was a problem though. There was a smell around the garbage disposal that while it improved when the dishwasher was run, it was still an issue. The place has seen some wear and a few items need to be replaced but otherwise it was nice. We would come back.

Everything was perfect. The property had the best view ever, comfortable beds, lots of room, and perfect location. We loved every second of our stay.

We love the Honua Kai as a property for its location and atmosphere. We'd stayed there three times previously (all pre-2020) but we'd rented either through the Honua Kai directly or a private owner. This time we went through Maui Life Vacations and did not have a great experience. When we checked in, it was clear the unit had not been well cleaned. There were hand smudges on every glass door, hair on the sofas and floor and some of the bedsheets had stains (unsure if these were old and the sheets had been washed or not). I replied to a text sent by Maui Life Vacations that day and explained the situation and also asked for extra bath towels. I heard nothing back and so I followed up the next day with an email. That same day, as I was walking down the hall I saw a man entering the unit while my teenage daughter and son were inside. He was from Maui Life's housekeeping service and had been given the wrong unit number for a delivery but as he had a master code he was about to walk in on them, which would have been very frightening. I was lucky to be able to stop him. I called Maui Life and they were very polite, and promised to get back to me with some resolution. They never called back. I emailed to check in and received one reply promising to follow up. I checked in one more time, and no response. If you have young kids, the Honua Kai is still a great way to enjoy Maui. I just would not recommend going through this rental agency.

Awesome vacation.

The property was beautiful. We hated to leave the room as the view was so spectacular. Check in and check out was seamless. I would easily stay here again.

Beautiful Condo and Resort

We will stay in this condo again. The location was perfect for all of our activates on the island and will it being located at the end of all of the resorts, it was quiet. Do recommend this condo to families and extended family interested in traveling together.

Amazing spot!!!

The view at this place was unbelievable! We saw whales every day and loved grilling and watching the sunset. So glad we stocked up at Costco and Safeway because we didn’t want to leave. Snorkeling right at the beach and fun, kid friendly waves. The pool and waterslide were also fun. Lastly, the blow up mattresses were nice for our smaller kids. What a dream vacation!

Great stay in Maui

We loved our stay here! Everything worked well, and the view is wonderful. The location of this unit on the property was perfect as well. Close to the pools and waterslide, yet far enough that you don’t hear everything going on. The management communicated well and in a timely manner. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Simply awesome!!!

The view was everything you see in the pictures..we watched whales right off the balcony and location of the place was ideal. The management co proactively checked in to make sure everything was going well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Hope I do!

Absolutely amazing comfortable condo for two families!

A total of 8 adults shared this space & had plenty of space to lounge, cook, & sleep. The beautiful view and whale watching was spectacular. We enjoyed Maui to the fullest & were always greeted by friendly staff who were able to assist us whenever needed. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking or grilling which we enjoyed several nights. We'll definitely be back! Mahalo!
