The Lily Pad

The Lily Pad is located on a 34 acre homestead/farm. This sweet tiny home is surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife. The well lit space is perfect for almost any occasion. A quick getaway, a peaceful space to practice your art form, or a lovely place to unwind and recharge.
This thoughtful space has two lofted bedrooms (not totally private from the rest of the tiny house). A cook friendly kitchen and full bathroom.
The space
This tiny house is on a 34 acre start up farm/homestead. We have been working hard since July of 2020 and are so excited to list our first space. The tiny house is not so tiny with 385 square feet, the Lily Pad has two "bedrooms" with queen beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and a nice little couch, tv, and dining area all with a view of a cute little pond (visibility varies with season)! With windows everywhere, you can really be a part of nature!
Guest access
You will have access to your tiny house yard as well as the rest of your property:) There are trails all over the property and some of the best sunset watching from your own private deck.

Beautiful property, a quiet place to relax. The only thing I would recommend would be a brief instruction on how to adjust the mini split settings but that could just be my inexperience. Loved our stay. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay. I think the pics of the property need to be updated to be a little more accurate. The grass was pretty high. But we were next to a beautiful horse and the cuteness and great a/c made up for anything else. We would go again!

Perfectly Situated, Perfectly Equipped

We had a very nice time. It had great furnishings and a very comfortable bed. The location is perfect for access to Bogue Chitto State Park.

Unfortunately I was sick and had to sleep on couch. It was ok..my inner ear made me nauseous when I tried to go upstairs.. it’s a great place for a small family.. my situation was jaded by my sickness..Needed more shower safety attention and more attention to windows where wood was forming holes because of moisture..my friend loved, loved loved it!

We stayed in the lily Pad for two days And it was absolutely wonderful. The hostess had everything we needed, and she was quick to respond to a text. The place was super clean, cozy and Will definitely be staying here again on my trip back

What a wonderful weekend!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay here! The property was beautiful and the house itself so well-decorated and cozy—you can tell how much thought was put into creating it. We definitely recommend staying here, it’s the perfect getaway to spend time together in a peaceful place.

Beware, the pictures must have been taken when it was new. Arrived on site at 4 pm as denoted on the check-in instructions. Went inside and discovered that they were still in the process of cleaning. Bed wasn't made, bathroom wasn't done, debris on the sofa, crumbs or something on the countertop. Called the host, no answer and it wouldn't leave a message. I called VRBO and while on the line, they tried to call the host with no answer. Due to a dinner I had that night, not being able to lock the door (electronic lock that was filthy), and VRBO not have any luck getting a hold of them and said I could leave, I left and had to get a hotel 30 min down the road. It wasn't until I was on my way to dinner that I heard from the host's husband on the phone and they said they were sorry for the inconvenience and they understood why I left. Then I heard from the host via message and they said they would not give any refund. They offered me a 50 steak dinner since it was not ready. I explained the situation and why I was in town (volunteering my time) and that didn't matter to them. After working with VRBO, the host elected to disregard the circumstances and keep my money even though I didn't stay there. Terrible experience

A great little spot!

It is exactly as described. What a great escape- so sweet! If you choose to go, definitely do check out the driving directions for landmarks as google maps is iffy on the location.

Very accommodating host, adorable tiny home.

We were in town for a funeral and stayed at this tiny home as an experiment. It was a good experience with the host and the home. I highly recommend if you find yourself near Franklinton. There were farm fresh eggs in the kitchen and everything you could want for an evening stay. It can be hit or miss on short term house rentals, this was a home run.

Picture perfect

My husband and I had a quick overnight in the area and the Lilypad was just what we needed to help us relax and unwind! The place is tucked away from city noises, but only a ten minute drive from the town! The property was beautiful and exactly what you see in the pictures! We could not have asked for a better little get away! Can't wait to book again!!

The best thing I can say is that if you are looking for a place to completely decompress yourself from the stress of the hustle and bustle this is the place for you. Stars at night when it’s a clear sky and the sounds of nature instead of horns and sirens made this little getaway the most attractive of all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the little hidden jewel! It was our first time in a tiny house and wasn’t bad at all. Suggest this if your not a “camper/tent” person like myself. We came to town for a BroncoJeep event and really enjoyed our time here.

Cute, simple, and a perfect getaway

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a little weekend getaway from the city. The communication with the host was superb, they were extremely accommodating, and the property was absolutely beautiful. There is a little trail into the woods from the tiny home that is very fun to explore. Loved the fire chiminea for when the weather got cooler at night! Easily one of my best VRBO experiences.

Very cute place

Loved the vibe. Very cute and cozy. Would not recommend to tall people though unless you want to bend in the shower lol I’m 5’10 and the shower head was probably 3 inches shorter than me. Other than that very nice stay.
