Nestled a mere 10 miles from Banner Elk and 20 miles from Boone, this cozy retreat offers easy access to the main lift, making it an ideal choice for winter enthusiasts. Embrace the local charm by exploring nearby restaurants, embark on year-round hikes, or enjoy thrilling mountain biking adventures in the summer. This relaxing one-bedroom condo, which comfortably sleeps four with a king bed and queen sleeper sofa, offers a cozy and charming escape throughout every season. Surrounded by nature, the property is frequently visited by deer, and on occasion, lucky guests may catch a glimpse of bear or fox. Whether you're seeking a peaceful hideaway or a base for outdoor adventures, this inviting space provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable getaway. Pets are welcome with a pet fee of $50.00. The Buckeye Beech Bunker is intimate and fully equipped for a great vacation or remote working. We recommend that you download directions before leaving on your trip, as not all cell carriers provide a signal in our area. It is best to arrive before dark, the area is very dark at night. If you are traveling in the winter months, we strongly recommend that you come in a 4WD or AWD vehicle. In snow or ice conditions, the mountain roads are quite difficult to navigate without 4WD or AWD. The fireplace adds the perfect ambience while heating. Close to everything on Beech Mountain, as well as all of the amazing local towns, restaurants, activities, and nature. Wifi speeds of 80+mbs.

Great stay

The condo was very clean! Loved having a washer and dryer and kitchen was well stocked. So many great trails close to the condo. We had a great stay!

Couldn't get the fireplace to work. Had to leave a day early due to coming storm and a broken wrist that needed attention, so hoped for a night's refund, but it didn't come.

Great place close to the slopes!

Very cozy, clean space with a super comfortable bed. Host responded quickly and check in/out was very easy. The condo is very close to the resort.

Wonderful location to the Mountain

Condo is perfect location for skiing and enjoying all the activities on Beech Mountain. Judith is an excellent host and available almost immediately to answer any questions about condo and resort. Highly recommend this condo and would stay again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My husband and I were able to celebrate our 5 year anniversary in Beech Mountain. The leaves were beautiful and the scenery of Beech Mountain was breath taking. The condo is just as it described- cozy and very clean. I will definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous Winter stay

The location of the condo was beautiful deer every day outside inside was beautiful I clean bathroom was nice and a sitting area was nice beautiful views down one and a 1/2 flights of stairs in a small walkway to get to the door was very quiet and comfortable beautiful views.

Good location for Beech Ski

Cute and cozy condo! We sat on the porch and watched the deer come right up. Condo is a good location for anyone going to Beech Ski Resort.
