Tranquility Beech: 2BR Condo Steps from the Slopes--Parking Lot Level: No Stairs

Located at parking lot level, featuring comfortable leather seating, a well-equipped kitchen, two beautiful bedrooms, two full baths, high-speed internet, a work space, Smart TV's to stream your favorite content, and a 4-minute walk to the ski resort, it's got something for everyone.

The den features a super-comfortable leather couch with extending footrests, and a leather armchair and ottoman. Enjoy your time watching the Smart TV as you stream content from your favorite apps, choose a DVD from the wide selection, dive into a novel from the extensive library, or just watch the gas logs in peace and quiet.

The open floorplan flows into a well-appointed kitchen and dining area. If you enjoy cooking, this is the place for you. The kitchen was recently renovated with all new stainless steel appliances, beautiful cabinets, and granite countertops. Full-size appliances as well as a selection of counter-top appliances, pots, pans, casserole dishes, and various kitchen gadgets make cooking fun. Of course, if your idea of what to make for dinner is "reservations," there are plenty of great restaurants on the mountain and in nearby towns.

The dining area features a glass-top table with four chairs, as well as two stools to pull up to the kitchen counter for meals or snacks. The cabinet in the corner holds a fine selection of dishes and various glassware. But it also holds a nice selection of games.

Meandering down the hall leads to the master and second bedrooms. The master has a queen-size bed with memory foam mattress topper for marvelous sleeping. The decor of antique winter sports equipment will make you feel as if you're in a Currier and Ives print. A recliner, two bedside tables with lamps, a large chest of drawers, and two closets round out the room. But for the TV lovers, you can stream most anything on the 50" HDTV. It even has an earphone jack on the remote in case one guest enjoys late-night viewing while the other wants to sleep.

The master has an ensuite full bath with tub/shower combo including hand-held shower and high quality linens, as well as individual soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.

The second bedroom features a twin over full bunk bed perfect for kids or adults. There is also a work desk with pull-out keyboard drawer for those working vacation opportunities. This room also has an HDTV with streaming capabilities. The second bath is across the hall and virtually identical to the master.

The unit is at 4,600 elevation, which generally stays cool even through the summer months. There is a dehumidifier which is used regularly to keep humidity levels down, with open windows keeping the inside comfortable without AC. However, for unusually hot weather, there is a portable air conditioner with an installed exhaust vent which can provide cooling for guest comfort.

Across the back of the unit is a large deck with rocking chairs, sand receptacles for the smokers, and a beautiful view of the mountains.

Tranquility Beech is located across the street from Beech Mountain Resort's parking lot #2, and a 4-minute walk to the village. It is at parking lot level, so there are no stairs to climb--a big plus in winter.
