Recently renovated inside & out.
Sleeps 5 comfortably (up to 7 if you include sleeper sofa). House has many amenities- including boats, access to community beach, fishing poles, washer/dryer, grill & board games!

The pictures don't do this place justice. The house is wonderful with a large open living space. We enjoyed the lake view from the sunroom, as we were there in late October. But, the backyard looked inviting and relaxing too. The neighbors were extremely nice, which just added comfort to the stay. We hope book a longer stay next time!

Very nice cabin

The one challenge we had was the temperature. Because it was off season, the cabin was VERY COLD and it was hard to get it to warm up. The area was nice but you had to drive to go anywhere. The Lake view was beautiful. The cabins are close together. The picture doesn't show this. There isn't many places to eat. Take your own food!

The house is as described. Very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the fire pit outside. Fully equipped kitchen. Decor is updated and cozy. The view of lake is breathtaking!

Ski Retreat

After skiing all day this was the perfect place to come back to. Clean, gorgeous, and everything in between. Will definitely be coming back here someday.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay was magnificent!! From booking to departing everything was efficient and enjoyable. The house itself was perfect!! Cozy, quiet, peaceful, comfortable are a few words to describe our stay!! We will be back for sure, to experience all the beautiful seasons on the lake!!

Great location ok a tranquil lake

If you are looking for a place to relax in a very quiet and peaceful setting this is the place! It has everything you would need and is nicely decorated with nice art and comfortable furniture. Will go again.

Great Vacation

We had a great weeklong vacation at chipmunk cottage. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the cottage was bigger than the pictures show. The lake provided us with lots of fun. Since motorized boats are not allowed we felt very safe swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The lake was also great for fishing and getting across to access the beach and tennis courts. All the neighbors we met were very friendly and helpful. They pointed us to the secret trail out the back of the development to get to the rail trail. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back.

Very nice house and property

had a very nice stay. caught a lot of fish and enjoyed the local state parks. house was very clean. kayaks were fun. would like to stay here again in the future.

Our stay was amazing!! The cottage was a perfect, a lake cottage with modern amenities. Having the kayak, paddleboard and bikes available for us to use was a great.

What a view!

Comfortable bed and furniture, inside and outside. Incredible view of the lake from enclosed back porch, patio, & lawn! Well-appointed kitchen to make breakfasts, lunches & dinners. Saw Buttermilk Falls, too. Thank you for sharing such an awesome get away!

From the views to the magnificence of nature, it was just incredible. It was an incredible relaxing, beautiful experience and I would recommend it to anyone. The property is immaculate. The owner is stellar. It was just the most relaxing and just what the doctor ordered. It was everything it was described as and so much more! The surrounding neighborhood the neighbors. The people I ran into the stores, the Whitehaven market. It was really a beautiful stay. Completely all around except for just a few glitches at the end. But all in all it was absolutely five plus plus stars. Beautiful! Highly recommend

Short and sweet get-a-way!

This property is even better in person than in the pictures! The kitchen has everything you need to make some simple meals including salt, pepper, and oil. We loved exploring the lake and having a fire in the fire pit. The collection of games was a nice distraction for the kids.
