Encantadora cabaña frente al lago de 5 dormitorios / 2 baños situada en una comunidad privada de lago llena de comodidades. Impresionantes vistas al lago. Duerme 10 cómodamente. La comunidad aislada incluye: playas de arena, canchas de tenis, baloncesto y voleibol de arena, campos de fútbol y béisbol, área de juegos para niños pequeños, vela, navegación y pesca en un lago no motorizado. 9 millas a las estaciones de esquí Jack Frost / Big Boulder. Relaxing with great lake view

I relaxed while my kids and grandkids enjoyed skiing and the Kalahari water park. The house is very accommodating and family friendly.

Yearly family get together

This lovely house on a quiet lake was comfortable, clean and well-equipped for our family vacation of two couples and six teens. The grounds and lake were ideal for having our Wilkes-Barre relatives come lunch or dinner.

Perfectly appointed stay at Penn Lake

We had a great stay! The house was the perfect fit for our two families. The kitchen had all of the amenities and the house was beautiful. We spent our week fishing, boating, and playing many board games. We enjoyed visiting Wilkes Barre and spent a day at Knoebels (what a unique place - it was a blast!) The property had everything we could ask for and was very comfortable for our group of 9 parents and teens. The rental process was easy and communication was great.

Check-in was quick and easy. The kitchen was well-equipped and a beautiful space to in which to cook!We enjoyed the yard with just enough room to play while others hung out on the hammock or played on the swing. The community is quiet with families enjoying the calm lake. It was really idyllic. The water in front of the house/at the dock is best for kayaking due to the algae (though the lily pads nearby make it pretty). To swim, your best bet is walking about 10 minutes to the private beach, or kayak there (5 mins?). The house was well-decorated and the layout was practical for parents, kids, and grandparents and made for a fun, comfortable stay!

Quiet Lake Stay

I rented over Labor Day Weekend for a long weekend with my parents and siblings. Everybody had a great time! The lake and surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. The home is well equipped for cooking, leisure, and sport. We particularly enjoyed the kayaks!

Chillin at Lake Penn

Everyone had enough space inside, couples and friends, outside we enjoyed the canoe and kayaks, fishing abundant. Perfect to connect with friends & family - loved the "quiet" lake - no motors.

Perfect house Perfect hosts

The Fishers have created the perfect family getaway. We were 5 adults, 2 children and 1 infant. The lake was beautiful and we made good use of the canoes and kayaks. Of course the rope swing was the girls favorite. We plan to return.

Outstanding place for a two-family ski trip!

Mike & Kristen’s Penn Lakes house was perfect for our two-family ski trip. Our six kids ages 5-12 had a giant slumber party upstairs while the two adult couples were comfortable in the two downstairs bedrooms. There was also plenty of space for preparing and eating meals and for playing board games and watching movies. The ~15 min trip to Jack Frost ski resort was convenient, as well. White Haven is great little town. We plan to return!

Nice house on the lake

We enjoyed our stay on Penn Lake! The house is well maintained and very clean, with a great kitchen and a beautiful porch overlooking the yard and lake. The property is spacious with excellent access to the water with kayaks and a canoe. And there are all kinds of activities within driving distance, including hiking, amusement parks, etc. The closest town leaves something to be desired, but it has enough to get you through your trip.

Perfect relaxing getaway!

Beautiful property with outstanding view & access to lake. House has all the amenities you could ask for but we seriously spent 98% of the time kayaking, hiking, tree swinging & sitting by the fire! We hope to be back soon! Hosts are awesome too!

Peaceful and Enjoyable Getaway!

We loved the cottage on the lake! So peaceful and relaxing to sit out back and enjoy the beautiful weather, views, and amazing sunsets by campfire. The cottage was well stocked with all the necessities and had ample space for my family. Nestled in a quiet, friendly community. We enjoyed walks, kayaking, fishing, canoeing and swimming. Kristen was available by text to answer all of my questions and provided prompt responses. I would highly recommend this rental property for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway!

Awesome Vacation

Kristen & Mike were the perfect hosts. Their house is in the best location. It is so relaxing to sit on the porch and look at the lake. It is a great house. My family went hiking, canoeing & kyacking . We are planning on returning next summer. Judy & Michael

The house had everything (no need to bring any kitchen utensils, kayaks, chairs, etc). Everything has been thought off, is well-labeled, and you can’t beat the setting. Kristen and Mike were excellent hosts and they have a beautiful place. Looking forward to returning as soon as we can!

Wonderful stay!

This was the perfect house for a group of 6 adults, but would also be great for families staying with children. The house is immaculate and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed watching the sun set above the lake at night. Would absolutely stay again.

Perfect House at the lake!

The house and property was even more amazing than we could have imagined! The photos simply do not do this home justice! The views of the lake are magnificent and can be enjoyed by so many viewpoints throughout the house. The lay-out of the home is perfect for families or groups. Plenty of space and seating for everyone. Even though we traveled in late November, we took the boat out, enjoyed an afternoon fire, and spent countless hours on the lovely porch just enjoying the lake view and fresh air. The tree swing was a hit by our kids, despite being teenagers. It was a truly wonderful weekend filled with lots of relaxation and quality family time. Thank you Mike and Kristen! Mike and Kristen are dream hosts! The house is fully stocked to make your stay easy and were extremely responsive to any questions.

Great house!

This is one wonderful house! Immaculately clean, comfortable, stocked with everything you can think of from the kitchen, board games, fussball table, fire pit, canoe, kayaks, a great back porch overlooking the lake with amazing sunsets, a hammock and the best swing for kids! Beds were totally comfortable. It was wonderful having a fireplace in the living room,. We were there in Nov. so even though it was warm we did not go swimming so can’t comment on that. It’s more like a cottage that just felt like home the moment we walked in the door. Everyone loved everything about it! We went on an amazing hike at Ricketts Glenn State Park (an hour drive but so worth it) to a 94 foot waterfall with many other ones on the way. We went to the Boulder field at Hickory Run. The rest of the time we just enjoyed the house and yard, played games, walked to the neighborhood park with our grandson, went boating. The owners were so responsive, left paper goods and soap for us, emailed things to do. My grandson, who is 8, said, as we were leaving, “we have to rent this house again!”. And we all totally agreed! Thank you Kristen and Mike!

Good house. Owners are very nice and responsive. We've enjoyed our vacation. The only small minus - we were not able to get firewood from Paragon Home Landscaping.
