Blue Oasis- cozy modern ranch near everything.

Blue Oasis is the perfect spot for anyone traveling to Chicagoland. Centrally located in a friendly neighborhood, you’re just a few short minutes from upscale shopping and dining, business centers, Metra train, all major highways, colleges, and so much more. So, whether you’re in town on business or visiting family, the open concept and modern updates of Blue Oasis will make your stay feel like home.

With modern updates throughout, this two bedroom, two bath ranch is designed for comfort and relaxation for the entire family. The open concept allows for free flow and entertainment for guests to enjoy the 55 inch Samsung TV (bring your own login). Both bedrooms offer queen beds with usb charging night stands perfect for any device. The main bedroom has a 32 inch smart TV, private workspace, and en suite bathroom. Need to get outside? Our partially fenced large yard has two dedicated outside areas.

Our water source is well water. However, a new water softener was installed in 2021. The well water is undetectable, but we recommend drinking the filtered water from the refrigerator.

Outside security cameras that do record during your stay.

No smoking allowed inside the home. No parties or events allowed.

GREAT PLACE!!

This place was GREAT! It was clean and in a convenient neighborhood to family and the shopping centers. The beds were super comfy and the neighborhood wasn’t loud at any point in the day or evening. Would ABSOLUTELY want to stay here again.

Fantastic location and property. Clean, safe, as advertised, and only 3 blocks off of Roosevelt Road. No surprises and excellent communication with the host. Would absolutely reserve this property again.

Clean, cute, comfortable, convenient!

We had a great time staying at the Blue Oasis. The online listing was totally accurate and the manager is a real person who was very communicative and helpful. The location is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with excellent access to local conveniences and a ~20/25 minute drive downtown. We would absolutely stay here again!

Comfortable and updated

We enjoyed our stay - comfortable bed, clean and good sized kitchen. This place had all the comforts of home and we were able to relax easily. The host was very responsive with us when we had a small issue and we appreciated that.

Quick trip

We enjoyed staying at this very clean home on our brief trip to Lombard to visit family. Everything was as pictured. Very clean and nice! The yard is fantastic too! Would recommend.

Lovely Home in Lombard

Very close to National University of health sciences. House had everything we needed. It was aesthetically pleasing and clean. Check-in was a cinch and communication with owner was stellar.

Nice, clean home

Stayed here for ~10 days in June and found the home to be exactly as advertised. It is a small, clean home in a quiet neighborhood. The yard is large with a fence and was convenient for traveling with a pet. The home is well stocked with all the essentials for cooking as well. The area allows easy access to multiple highways and is close to plenty of shopping and restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our stay here, it was perfect for our family of three.

Great house, noisy water softener

The house is very clean and in a great location. Communication was great. Only problem was the noise of the water softener that usually started at 11:00 each night. Other than that I loved the house.

Far enough but close enough

Just wanted to have a little staycation and take a break from the routine of things. Since we had family members with health issues we wanted to stay close enough to home in case of anything. That said, it was quiet, peaceful, and just overall chill. Had plenty of cooking supplies so that was convenient. The only thing what was something I wish I was able to change was maybe having a curtain to go over the door. Some traffic drives past and can see inside.

Nice place to stay

Overall my family and I had a very positive experience with this stay. The place was very clean and neat and the hosts communicated all instructions clearly to make things super easy. We needed a pet friendly place since we were bringing our dog and this worked out very well for us. Location was good, easy to get to/from highways, etc. The neighborhood was OK - not scary just a couple of eyesore houses nearby (you can't pick your neighbors). The only issue we had is that my wife is allergic to dogs (we have a hypoallergenic dog) and as soon as we sat on the couch she instantly had a reaction so we avoided the couch for the rest of the trip. I know there is no way to sanitize a couch between stays so this isn't a negative to the hosts, only to advise others that may happen to be in the same situation.

Good and Bad

Home was cute, cozy, would have been a 4-5 star stay EXCEPT for a few important details. The oven had food spilled inside and looked like it had possibly never been cleaned. Upon arrival, we had to change our own sheets on our beds because there were hairs from previous guests, indicating sheets hadn't been switched. When we told the owner that we were displeased, we were told to change our own sheets after a long day of traveling. The rugs and couch were covered in dog hair, which ended up all over our clothes. That's not how anyone wants to start a vacation. The home was in a great location, but lack of cleanliness spoiled what could have otherwise been a great stay.

I was hoping for a wonderful time, and I got the exact opposite the property was clean. That’s the only positive I can give after I stayed the 1st day with no problems the 2nd morning I got a surprise phone call asking was we having a party, was it sign in the yard, and said his neighbors saw my daughter name in the yard and found her name offensive. How is a child name in the yard offensive I agreed to remove my daughters name from the yard and assured him That his property will be 100% taken care of and I talk very nicely and sweet instead of finding comfort in that he popped up at the property unannounced making offensive comments telling us we can only sleep here that’s it and harassed my family shame on this owner…

Cute place, looks like the pictures!

Updated, cute home that looks identical to the pictures in the VRBO listening. We were visiting our daughter that attends Wheaton College. The location was 15-20 minutes from the school (depending on traffic). There’s a CVS just before entering the subdivision which we found helpful. Thank you for a nice visit!
