El condominio de un solo nivel, totalmente amueblado, se encuentra en el vecindario de Augusta Villa de la popular comunidad de Plantation Golf y Country Club en la encantadora ciudad de Venice, FL.(Ver paseo a través del video de Villa. Está al final de las imágenes, pero hay que pasar por ellas hasta el final). Aparte del porche delantero y las puertas del patio, no hay escalones en este cdo, por lo que es ideal si tiene movilidad limitada o simplemente no le gusta subir escaleras. Esta ubicación ideal está a solo un corto viaje en automóvil de 10 a 15 minutos de las playas del Golfo de México. Venecia está situada al sur de Sarasota y al norte de Fort Myers. La cercana isla de Venecia cuenta con fabulosas tiendas, restaurantes y galerías de arte, y hay numerosos campos de golf públicos a 5 o 15 minutos en coche. Nunca te perderás por cosas que hacer.

Esta villa bellamente amueblada / actualizada presenta un diseño abierto con 2 dormitorios y 2 baños completos. El dormitorio principal tiene un vestidor y un baño privado, recientemente remodelado con una ducha. Hay una cocina completa con electrodomésticos actualizados, sala de estar y comedor con una mesa de comedor formal. La sala de estar está decorada con buen gusto, estilo Florida, con muebles de ratán, una cómoda silla reclinable de cuero y un sofá de cuero que se despliega en una cama queen. Hay un gran televisor de pantalla plana y reproductor de Blu-ray con HD Cable DVR y servicio de internet de alta velocidad. El santuario de la terraza ofrece una excelente vista del campo de golf, el lugar perfecto para disfrutar del desayuno, el café o simplemente relajarse con su bebida favorita.

La Villa incluye una cocina de buen tamaño con todos los electrodomésticos estándar y está totalmente equipada con todo lo necesario para preparar y disfrutar de sus comidas favoritas en casa. Hay un armario de ropa completamente equipado con toallas de baño y playa, ropa de cama, así como lavadora y secadora. La piscina climatizada cercana tiene vista al campo de golf y ofrece la ubicación perfecta y apartada para relajarse y disfrutar del hermoso sol de Venecia (piscina para uso exclusivo de huéspedes y residentes de Augusta Villa).

A diferencia de muchas de las comunidades de Florida Gulf Beach, Venice tiene varias playas públicas con concesiones, vestuarios y duchas y estacionamiento gratuito literalmente al otro lado de la calle de la playa. Nos encanta hospedarnos en la playa, pero no nos gusta la alta renta asociada. En Venecia, es fácil conducir, estacionar y caminar al otro lado de la calle con sillas, refrigeradores y toallas.

Well located

Enjoyed our stay, it was a good location for beaches, restaurants and golf courses. The accommodation was nicely decorated and furnished and very comfortable. Accessing the swimming was a little complicated as it was further away than we imagined it would be and too far to walk in the heat, although not high on our priorities anyway.

Surpassed our expectations. Great Location close to all amenities. Home was exceptionally clean and carried all that was required. Thank you Lori & Jim!! My husband & I loved your beautiful home. First time renting from you and already planning on when we can return. Location was perfect!! Easy15 minuet drive to world famous Caspersen beach or Manasota key to look for shark teeth was so much fun. Everything you could possibly need for a perfect worry-free vacation Lori and Jim had you covered. Lovely quiet neighborhood, easy access to shopping and restaurants nearby. Friendly neighbors. Looking forward to returning.

Things that we didn't like.

Place was clean and in a safe neighborhood. We experienced 5 days of construction on carport repair, which we understood. What we didn't like was that as renters, we would have to wash, dry sheets/towels prior to leaving the condo - otherwise incur extra cleaning expense. This is difficult if you have early flight and have a 1 l/2 drive to airport with possible traffic delays. A solution would be an extra set of sheets for the owner to have. Also, being asked to replenish supplies that weren't there to begin with. We would be reimbursed, but why should we shop for the owner. Other than that, all was good.

An Augusta Peach of a villa

Jim had been fantastic in updating us about the Augusta Villas neighbourhood following Hurricane Ian and how it might affect our November stay. On arrival the amount of felled trees and collected greenery made us sad for the residents some whose homes had been damaged. Jim had had his garden cleared and the house looked good. Inside it was better than the photographs show. It is so spacious, well furnished and very comfortable. The lanai was our favourite place to eat and the back patio has afternoon sun and great views of the golf course (members only). Jim kept in contact to ensure that we were ok, particularly as later tropical storm Nicole passed North of us, but only causing minor local flooding. There is a very pleasant pool area for residents and Manasota beach is close by. All shops and amenities are close by so eating in or out is simple. We really enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave. I cannot recommend Jim and Lauries villa highly enough. You will NOT be disappointed.

Best Stay Ever

I really should lie and say that my stay was awful so that I can have more availability to myself for future rentals, but that wouldn’t be fair. The newly renovated property that Jim and his family worked tirelessly on is truly a gem of SW Florida. With the greatest grocery store ever located 5 min down the road and 15 min from the beach you’ll be set for paradise. This is given that you don’t want to spend all of your time lounging in the best living space in Venice— this property instantly turned me into a homebody. Jim is very communicative and bends over backwards to make sure your stay is perfect. 11/10 recommend this place to anyone wanting to plan their next extended stay to SWFL.

Wonderful Month

This condo was a lovely home-away-from-home for a fantastic vacation. Everything I could have wanted was provided. The location is near necessary stops such as a grocery store, and an easy drive to downtown Venice and beaches. Jim was very responsive to questions, and kept in touch to be sure that there were no issues with the condo. Renting this beautiful condo and spending a month in Venice was a great experience!

We spent the last two months, January & February 2016 at Jim & Lori's Augusta Villa condo. This was our first experience at the Plantation and at this condo; and our experience was a real joy. Absolutley Outdistanced Expectations

We just returned from a month respite at this fantastic vacation home. It was our first time in the Venice Florida area and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This accommodation was everything the owners promised and then some, the villa was in pristine condition and provided everything possible to certainly enhance ones rest and relaxation and we had the feeling of home from the moment we opened the front door. The location is close to a number of fine food establishments, lots of shopping, golf courses and beautiful beaches. Wonderful Villa and great location.

This was our first time visiting Venice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This Villa is spacious, clean, comfortable, well decorated, and the Plantation Golf Community is beautiful! We really enjoyed riding our bikes through the neighborhood or golfing at one of the many great courses nearby. The owners are easy to reach, very friendly and make sure your stay here is completely satisfactory. We truly felt at home in this beautiful Villa and hope to enjoy it for many more years. Extremely satisfied renters.

My husband and I were pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of this villa when we stay there during December 2014. Jim and Lori were nice and friendly, and made all effort to assure our comfort in their tastefully decorated Villa. We enjoyed being right next to the golf course, walking through the well manicured Augusta Plantation or at the beach; swimming in the assigned pools or dining and shopping in the Venice area. Exceeded Expectations

My wife and I spent October 2014 at Jim & Lori's villa. It exceeded our expectations. It felt new, was exceptionally clean, very well appointed and very comfortable. The Augusta Villa grounds are beautiful and well manicured, the people were friendly, and the pool was great. The location is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and beaches. If you want to stay at a wonderful villa, call Jim and Lori. We would definitely stay there again.

comfortable and clean

My wife,daughter and I were all very satisfied with our stay . The location couldn't be better, the shady back yard and rear patio overlooking the world-class golf course, the newness of the amenities and their working order complemented the owner's hospitality . This property was livable from the "get go," from the comfortable beds and pampering showers, to the almost fully stocked pantry! We will be back if we can find it available.

Very comfortable villa!

We arrived very late at night and found everything exactly as described. It was in pristine condition and well equipped. The owner had ensured that all our immediate needs were provided for, the lights and the hot water were turned on, the instructions were clearly laid out, etc. The layout was very comfortable for the 2 of us - I use a walker and was able to manoeuvre around easily. The toilets are high and there is a grab bar in the shower so safety was not an issue. The only hitch was that the washer and dryer are separate from the house so i had to get help to carry the laundry over. Jim was immediately responsive to a couple of minor issues that arose and was and is very easy to communicate with. We had a lovely month! Thanks for sharing your home with us.

We loved staying at Augusta Villas. The villa we stayed in was very bright and roomy. When looking out the full wall glass sliding doors overlooking the gulf course surrounded with mature trees made it very peaceful and picturesque. Venice is a great place to visit or live. THIS HOME EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!

Just bring your toothbrush! If you choose this home you will not be disappointed. The owners thought of everything. This home is furnished and stocked with everything you could possibly want or need. Conveniently located to all that Venice offers; golf, beaches, restaurants, shopping and a charming downtown. The home is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our favorite memory is enjoying our morning coffee on the lanai while watching the golfers tee off from the fifth hole on this beautiful golf course. The owners were extremely easy to work with and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed and that we were completely happy with our VRBO choice. There is only one reason we will not be returning to this home. During our three month stay here, we purchased a home of our own in Venice and will become full time Florida residents. Thank you for making our stay at your home so perfect!

Venice vacation

Our stay in Venice Fl. was as good as it gets.The accommodations at Jim and Lori's condo are first class. The condo is decorated very tastefully in the Florida style. Roomy and comfortable. It felt like our own home. Everything that you need is close by, Church, Restaurants, Stores etc. And last but not least, the weather was MAGNIFICENT !!!!!!

As a Midwesterner, I know what the attraction to the gulf beaches in the summer and warm weather in winter are like.

When my wife and I made the decision to purchase our Villa, we knew that we would be offering it as a seasonal rental as we both worked and couldn't justify owning it just for a week or two of vacation time.

We loving furnished it to make renters and guests feel comfortable, for it to feel like a home away from home for them, not our home that they are using.

It's been in our family for 14 years now and I still get excited when I come down for maintenance trips, vacations or getting out of Wisconsin for a month of winter.

I hope that you'll feel the same way too!

We chose to purchase our Augusta Villa home for a number of reasons. First and foremost was because of our neighbors. They welcomed us from the first time we walked the neigborhood trying to get a feel for Venice. Several welcomed us into their homes so we could get decorating ideas!
The other reasons were for the proximity to gulf beaches and golf courses, resturants and shopping areas.

As the owner, I feel it's my responsibility to make sure that our guests have a relaxing, stress free experience while staying at our Venice FL home. This home is well built and well maintained, but with all the appliances and other infrastructure, things can and do go wrong. I have an excellent support group on the grounds to help out when issues happen. If you read some of the reviews, many of them mention the attention to I pay to make sure that you will enjoy your stay here.
