Welcome to Sanctuary By The Sea. This private home sits less than 2 miles from the Bethany Beach boardwalk and only minutes from the bay, shopping, night life and amazing restaurants. But what makes this house so special is; it is nestled in between two vacant lots on a dead-end road. In addition, it backs right up to the Assawoman Canal. You will often see beautiful red tail fox, deer and rabbits. Sitting on the back deck in the mornings enjoying your coffee is what vacations are supposed to feel like.
The neighborhood is a quaint beach cottage community, featuring many locals and very little through traffic. It makes this home’s location perfect for families with kids or individuals who don’t want to be in the middle of the action. In the mornings you will usually see some joggers and very friendly dogs being walked.
The Sanctuary is decorated in a coastal style making use of the home's natural light, with soft tones, and a clean aesthetic, evoking the breeziness of the beach. The marine beach décor runs through the house including some cool nautical and boating decorations. Basically, it feels like summer year-round inside! Bethany Beach is one of the most delightful family resorts on the Delaware beach coast. The home also offers a fully stocked eat in kitchen for anyone who likes to stay in and cook. As you walk through the house it offers a large dining room table for 6 people and offers that open floor concept into the living room. From there you can walk out onto a very private deck with patio table and chairs for everyone to enjoy. The first floor also offers a primary ensuite. The home boosts top quality furniture and mattresses to allow for rest and comfort during your stay.
As you make your way up to the second story you will find 3 more large bedrooms including a very cool marine themed kids room with 2 twin beds. This room offers plenty of space for kids to play. The loft also offers 2 pull out couches and a large screen TV for a movie night. Lastly, the outside offers you a large outdoor shower when returning from a long day at the beach. We also provide 6 beach chairs. The Sanctuary may remind you of the beach vacations you took as a kid. In summary this house has everything you need to have an incredible vacation. Enjoy
