Everything was as described in the listing. The host was very responsive to messages and even reached out to make sure we were ok during some severe weather. That thoughtfulness was much appreciated.The furniture is comfortable, as were the beds. The only complaint I have is with the kitchen and cooking supplies. It may be that I’m just not used to gas burners, but I couldn’t get two of the burners to ignite. I also couldn’t find a couple of larger pans that I would have liked to have used for cooking. But even these didn’t detract from the overall pleasantness of the experience.

Very nice place. Location is the key, & it was close to everything. One of the best, & cleanest places we have stayed. The host was very accommodating also. Easy to deal with. I thank her personally..

The property was great and the host was the best! They were very prompt in assisting and answering questions. They were very helpful! The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood.

Good for an overnight

Property definitely could use a deep clean for furniture and carpet. Rooms were laid out as described. A/C has a lock on how much you adjust it and the garage bedroom was very muggy. For an overnight for my daughters bday it was fine, but not sure how enjoyable it would have been for several nights stay.

Okay

Overall, this was accommodating enough to stay. We were concerned about shattered glass on the living area floor. Two windows in the living room would not close. There was low water pressure. It was clean other than the glass. There was plenty of space for all. We never figured out how to use the Internet connection. The kitchen is not fully equipped.

We got in late. 1:00am. It was hot (84 degrees inside) so we turned on the air and tried to go to bed. By 6:00am the temperature had changed to 80 degrees inside. I alerted the host there was a problem with the ac. I get this wasn’t malicious, however her hospitality sure didn’t go above and beyond to help the situation. She did claim to try all day to find someone to come fix the issue, she let me know they would come at 3:30-4:30 pm and someone would need to be there to let him in. She did not offer any fans or help of any kind outside of calling the repair company. When I let her know of the issue, I also let her know we had afternoon plans and would be out after 12:00pm. This isn’t a huge deal, but highly inconsiderate. This is her property. She should have come to meet the repair company and not expected the paying guest to alter their plans. The repair did not work. Thankfully we had friends in the area who allowed us to borrow fans, since there were none on property or offered to us. It got as hot as 107 degrees outside. Heat index of 114 and was 89 degrees inside most of the time. The listing also states child friendly with designated children items. The dish-ware was all glass with a glass top dinning table. This is not child friendly. There were also no games as listed in the advertisement. I was very disappointed in the property, hospitality, and made the experience a very unpleasant one.

Disappointing Stay Walters Avenue, OKC, OK

My wife and I were very disappointed in our stay. The host allowed us to check in 2 hours early, however, it goes downhill from there. It started the first day when there was no remote for the TV in the living room. I contacted the host and there was a remote in the mailbox the following morning. This is a 3BR house but there were no TVs in any of the bedrooms. The Proctor Silex coffeemaker did NOT work. There was no attempt to check it out and/or replace it. Instead, we were told to use the kettle to heat water and then pour it into the carafe. Well, the kettle didn't work and there was green stuff in the spout anyway. Also, there was no carafe available. This issue was not resolved either. Had to go out to get our morning coffee. The toilet in the half bath off the master bedroom worked for two days (we had a 5 day stay) then it broke. The tank then started to fill extremely slowly. Took a very long time before you could flush it again. We turned on the night light in the hallway and the outlet sparked. We turned off the nightlight, for the rest of our stay. The water pressure in bath was amazing, however, when I try and put a towel on the bar it falls off the wall. I did provide all this information to the host and received a reply that the handyman would look at it. The bed in the MB was very comfortable, however, the fitted sheets on the bed in Master Bedroom kept coming off during the night. The house needs new "normal" dishware & silverware.
