Come enjoy our newly renovated modern retro Spanish style home located in Fig Garden Village just minutes away from high end dining, Fashion Fair Mall, and River Park! The home is just 3 minutes away from highway 41 which leads to Yosemite, Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon National Park, and all parts of Fresno. This space features 2 bedrooms & 1 bath. The bedrooms are furnished with queen size beds, duvet cover, and plush pillows. Patio, gas stove, wifi, keurig, shower supplies etc.

Small, cozy, perfect for 1 or 2. Very clean which I appreciate. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. I would stay here again and can recommend it.

Cute Little House

This cute little house was perfect for our stay! We were in town for a family event and didn't want to be crammed into a hotel room for three days. For the same price we were able to spread out and relax. The house was just as described, clean and equipped with all the essentials.

Place to rest

It was a short stay with my husband and long Time friend. Needed a place to rest after sightseeing. Cozy but nothing fancy. Only disappointment was no washer or dryer.

Barstow cottage

Cottage is back house, bathroom was interesting - getting in/out of shower was a little challenging for older people. Loved the mosaic walls.. Easy access to food/shopsand would stay again..

This house hasn't been maintained and so everywhere you turn, there's something broken or missing. All the doors are shutter style and offer little privacy and no noise reduction.

Fresno!!! Who knew!!

This was an adorable little cottage within walking distant to Fig Garden Mall and Restaurants! Everything was super clean and very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay while visiting family and I would stay here again in the future!

Adequate House for Overnight Stay

The house was clean although a little shabby. It needs to be freshened up with paint, touchup enamel in kitchen sink, a new lock in the bathroom, some outdoor furniture in the garden and a shed to hide the filled up garbage bins and trash outdoors.

We traveled from the Bay Area to Fresno for a concert that took place in the middle of the week. As it wasn’t a time of high demand we had many rentals to choose from. I chose this rental mainly for the value. The rate is very competitive and offers all the comforts of home. As an added bonus I found that it’s also centrally located to all of the activities and attractions Fresno has to offer. The host provided the lock box code for self check in and we were given our privacy during our stay. We didn’t meet the host at all, nor did we even see anyone else in those two days, but the host was very quick to respond to my questions. The only thing I would say might be a negative is the beds; there are two to choose from and both beds are on wheels, so any slight movement or tossing and turning caused some squeaking. This is not a deal breaker for me at all, as I would absolutely stay here again, but it might be disruptive to really light or active sleepers.

No privacy

Looking at the images of the cottage, I noticed that there were no curtains/shades throughout the cottage. when I arrived there was still no curtains. There was no privacy from the apartment complex next door or from the person living in the cottage behind this one. One bedroom had a french door to the outside, it had no curtain. The place was clean (smelled of clorox)). The property manager was late in notifying me of the code for the key box and never advised me about the wi-fi access. Clean towels, clean beds, clean place to stay. Upon leaving (2 days) I ran the dishwasher and a sewer smell emitted from under the sink. Will not stay here again and would not recommend it if you enjoy privacy at night.

Short Stay

Cute and cozy. My husband and I only stayed one night to watch our daughter compete on her swim team the next day. I gave a 5 stars because I read in a previous post there were no curtains which didn’t give privacy and was pleasantly surprised to see drapes and shades when we arrived. I appreciate the owners quick fix and quick to respond to our questions. It was comforting knowing the owner was available when we needed. The home is just like a small, cute, and quiet cottage. Very clean which did not smell like Clorox as previously mentioned in another post but a soft vanilla scent. The unit is in a nice quiet neighborhood nestled in the back of a driveway surrounded by trees. If we stayed a little longer, I would have liked to enjoy a cup of coffee enjoying the cool breeze and nature sounds. I do suggest patio furniture for others to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The beds are very comfortable and not noisy. The kitchen is average but clean with the necessary amenities. The living room is lovely with tall windows to enjoy the scenery and light during the day. There are two ceiling fans to keep the small unit cool during the day. The bathroom is eccentric but clean. If your traveling with small kids, it may be to small for them to run around and be extra careful when they are outside around the unit as there are areas where they could run into a gated backyard. Some areas of the wooden fence have small gaps. I think this is a cozy unit for two adults or older kids.

The pictures on the advertisement do the house a lot of justice.

The size of the house fit the description. It was cute, but run down and seems like no one had been in it for awhile. I do not think anyone went into the house to check the condition before we came to stay in it. When we went to sleep in the double futon advertised we flipped the back of the couch up and there were spider webs and spider egg sacs all over the back of the couch. When we notified the owners they brought over a vacuum cleaner and we spent over an hour cleaning the entire couch, even flipping it over where tons of spiders kept coming out of it. Then we flipped over the other furniture and found spider egg sacs on the bottom of the chair as well. During our stay we easily killed 30 or more spiders. There were several spider webs in the house and we knocked many of them down. The owners said they were unaware of the problem and offered to send a company over to spray, but we had to vacate and be out for 4 hours after they sprayed which they did refund one nights stay for. In addition, we told them that one side of the sink was clogged where the garbage disposal was so we could only use one side of the sink. Then, we asked for dishwasher pods to use the dishwasher and we were told that it was broken and unusable and there was a used sponge on the sink and dish soap. I had to hand wash all of the dishes while we were there. Unfortunately, pretty much everywhere was already booked up and there was no other options for our stay.
