Why not have a beautiful beach a block away from your temporary home while working in the Norfolk area or waiting for your next permanent home to be ready?
Comfortably furnished 750 square foot apartment on second floor of this quiet building. Four of the six units are set up as monthly furnished rentals catering to temporary workers and people transitioning to their next permanent home.
East Ocean View has been undergoing a Renaissance over the past decade, and new upscale apartments, condos and single family homes continue to replace the older housing stock in the area. Each year, there is more of a "beach vibe". There are now lots of bike lanes and golf carts are commonplace.
At the end of our block, there is a small commercial area with an authentic highly rated Mexican restaurant and grocery, a pizza place, and a Beach Bistro type restaurant. The laundrymat is about a mile away. There is extensive shopping available on Little Creek Road, less than a mile away.
This location is VERY convenient to Little Creek Amphib Base, and reasonably convenient to the Norfolk Naval Base. But what makes this location extra-special is the short walk to the beach, which is a great place for quiet recreation any time of year.

Keith is a retired business lawyer and Deborah is retired (usually) from helping run the family real estate business. We own Wolftrap Farm in Gordonsville, Virginia, which also handles all the temporary housing and vacation rental operations. We have three adult children and six grandchildren. In 2022, we celebrated 50 years of marriage (to each other).

We own four small apartment complexes on 13th Bay Street in Norfolk. We have converted a number of the apartments to "monthly furnished units" catering to temporary workers and people transitioning into or out of the area. We enjoy selecting the furnishings and doing the decorating, and it beats having regular tenants.
