The 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath home sits on a working farm offering beautiful views of the farmland, countryside, and livestock all with its own private river frontage access for canoeing, kayaking, fishing and swimming. Other amenities you will find at the property include two outdoor picnic spaces, one along the river and another beside the house with a Summer kitchen offering a large table that opens to a patio and fire pit perfect for gathering and making memories!

This great location offers endless opportunities for people looking to getaway and enjoy the outdoors with access to the Juniata River and being only minutes away from the H&BT Rails to Trails and Trout Streams. You will also find Historic Downtown Bedford, Bedford Springs, and Lake Raystown within 30 minutes.

Feels like home!

This is the third time we have stayed in this lovely house! Great views and we love the sheep. When we pulled up, we felt like we were home. I love this house.

Quiet Retreat

My friends and I enjoyed a quiet weekend girls trip at the farm house and were trying to think of excuses to go back with more people. This would be a great place for three families to meet up for games, meals, & catching up around the fire pit.

Great for friends

Loved this property and this neighborhood. We come to the area often and love staying near the river. The private river access is stellar (though I recommend driving down the hill to it). We also loved the sheep from the farm next door-- they were fun to watch in the mornings. Bathrooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time in the country house! It was tastefully decorated and quiet. Everything you could possibly think of was in the kitchen allowing us to make normal family meals. I highly recommend this rental and plan on choosing it again!

Perfect Getaway

We really wanted a secluded little place to get away for our anniversary and this was perfect. We spent hours down by the water and only a couple kayakers passed each day. What a great trip. My wife loved the sheep.

Peaceful Countryside Haven

Such a beautiful, peaceful home. A great place to gather with family and friends. Has everything you need...kitchen was well equipped, beds were clean and comfortable, plenty of towels, bathrooms beautiful. Sit on the front porch, around the fire or walk down to river and sit there.

A perfect relaxing and enjoyable getaway...love this home!!!

Such a tranquil, relaxing farmhouse, quiet and peaceful. The perfect location, the perfect country setting, the perfect view. If you are looking for some R&R, this is the place. And it's so close to Rails to Trails, where I walked every day! Love this farmhouse!!!!!

A lovely stay

If you love a country setting you will be right at home here; peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed everything about the Farmhouse. The river was accessible and lovely and the summer kitchen was an extra bonus. Hosts were great! We would stay here again.

Fun on the River

My family and I loved every aspect of this property! The house offered more than enough room for our group and the layout was nice (big dining room for meals as well as a beautiful summer kitchen outside!), the bonfire pit was right next to the house, and the kids loved visiting the sheep and cows. Our favorite part was definitely the river: we've fished many parts of the Juniata Raystown branch and this was one of the best (TONS of good sized smallmouth and channel cats), with a nice mix of shallows and deep spots. The kids had a blast playing in the shallows too!
