Non-secluded ranch-style home, with access to almost 3 acres of property and the Juniata River. Fishing, Kayaking and Tubbing available on site with guests own equipment. Located on historic Route 30, Lincoln Highway. Minutes to I-70, I-99, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Small town of Everett minutes away and historic town of Bedford 10 minutes west on Lincoln Highway/Route 30.

Many attractions near or a short drive. Down River golf course is less than 5 minute drive from the property. Omni Bedford Springs Resort, Fort Bedford Park, Bedford Speedway and Old Bedford Village. The Annual Bedford Fall Foliage Festival.

Amish farms and fresh produce in nearby Martinsburg, PA.

Washington DC, Cumberland MD, Altoona, State College, Huntingdon, Somerset, Gettysburg, Hershey, Harrisburg, Lancaster and Pittsburgh all a two and half or less hours' drive.

Raystown Lake, Historic Gettysburg, Hershey Park, Delgrosso Park, Altoona Curve Baseball, Penn State Football, Lincoln and Penns Caverns, Flight 93 National Park, Blue Knob Ski resort, Seven Springs Mountain Resort all local favorites.

The property was very clean and well decorated.The coffee bar was a hit. Our biggest complaint was not having central air, it made the house very humid and it had a musty smell.

Cozy, cute, rooms are great, beds comfy, coffee bar OUTSTANDING! Very, very clean!!! Yard is wonderful for sports. Hosts were kind,helpful and responsive. Overall a great little getaway!!

We went for a girl's trip and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house is very clean and everything was perfect. They had some flooding in the spring, so we couldn't get to the river, but we will definitely be back and hopefully we will be able to next time. We took a day trip to Berkeley Springs, WV, had fun there. We also did a little hiking. I would recommend this house for a relaxing vacation. (We did have to unplug some of the air fresheners because they were a little overwhelming).

Great Stay

Beautiful home, clean, comfortable and cozy!Coffee bar provided was equivalent to a 4 star hotel.Themed rooms and decor added ambiance for the children and adults alike.We had everything we needed and more. The baby supplies and toiletries really came in handy.Vicky was a great host, with great communication.Hoping to come back soon!

Great quiet little place

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was tidy and clean. We had plenty of room. The host had a high chair, pack and play, and other kid’s items that came in handy. Restaurants and Walmart aren’t too far down the road. It was a great experience.

Fantastic for all of us

We recently stayed here while our house was being worked on rather than getting a hotel. This place was so nice for us, especially since my mom is in a wheelchair, everything on one floor was perfect. Clean and organized are just a couple ways I’d describe this place, along with cozy. Nice big yard to play and relax outside.

The hosts thought of everything, even cell phone chargers. Very homey. Lots of things provided to do for kids such as games, both indoor and outdoor. Had it been drier we would have walked to the river, but it was too wet. Very nice property. The only drawback is the highway noise.

Super-cozy!

A very cozy and well-appointed house. Very comfortable furniture, lovely coffee bar, and well-stocked kitchen. A perfect getaway for a ladies’ weekend away. We very much enjoyed Shawnee State Park and the charming town of Bedford a short 30-min drive away. Only slight downside: it can be nerve-wracking turning into to driveway (right off busy 4-lane Rt. 30), and it was difficult to initially find as we arrived at night. Communication with the host was great. Would definitely stay here again!

I'm from Hollidaysburg Pennsylvania. I'm a lover of traveling with my husband (occasionally our grandchildren too), we have a Travel Trailer that sleeps 10, for large family trips and a smaller Travel Trailer that sleeps 2.

Hosting our home has been a wonderful experience, we love providing an atmosphere and experience for our guests and hope they feel like they are at home.

The neighborhood chose us, the property was given to us from my in-laws after they passed away. It's located approximately 45-60 minutes south of where we currently reside.

We poured approximately 2 years into making it the home it is, with plans for more.

Our home is filled with many items from both our families past/history! There is a lot if "legacy" throughout the home, such as a 75+ year old bed that was my husband's grandparents (they were both in the late 90s when they passed away).

Our home isn't just a building it's a feeling, our hope is that as you enter you feel peace, relaxation, calm and rest.
