Hideaway Hill - Lakefront Relaxation with Great Amenities

Kick off your shoes and relax at this lake lover's haven. If you feel like the weight of the world has got you down, or if you are just overdue for a vacation, Hideaway Hill is the perfect place to escape and recharge. Nestled away from all the noise and commotion, you will find this cozy lake house. This retreat-like home sits on a large open yard providing scenic views of the lake. With 6 rooms with beds and 3 full bathrooms, Hideaway Hill comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests.

Enjoy a day of adventure out on the lake by taking out the kayaks (4 provided - 2 adult, 2 kids). When everyone gets hungry, send the kids inside to enjoy one of the 5 SMART TV'S - YouTube TV streaming included! Enjoy a drink while grilling dinner on the propane grill. Dine outside at the large outdoor table or on the main level covered deck, both overlooking the lake. Finish up by roasting marshmallows by the firepit and take in the beauty of the lake in the evening. Need some family/friend competition? Enjoy the ping pong table on the lower level or head outside and grab the corn hole boards!

​​​​​​​Feel like getting out and exploring? There are several lakeside restaurants around Lake Norman, and Charlotte is just a short drive away - perfect for an evening out!

The house was exactly as listed. The fishing was good. Good location to lots of things to do and resturants. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Would stay here again.

Better than expected!!!

Probably the best VRBO we have stayed in! They had thought of absolutely everything, it was so incredibly clean and everything was updated and decorated beautifully. I would for sure go back and would highly recommend to anyone! The lake is stunning and great for swimming!! Thanks for a wonderful trip!!

Relax, Relate & Release Weekend

A time was had—a long weekend with family and friends to relax, relate, and release. Family traveled from both up north and Florida. The house was amazing, just as the images portray, and so much more. Our stay at the Hideaway offered a perfect blend of comfort and escape. We were all surprised at the number of amenities at the house. There was nothing we needed to bring - from kitchen supplies to lifejackets. If we have the opportunity to for another long weekend, this property will be top of the list.

Perfect space for our family gathering!

Needed a place for our whole family to stay while in town for a wedding and this house was perfect! It’s beautifully decorated, very clean, and well stocked with anything you’d need in the kitchen as well as baby gear (pack n play, baby gate, baby dishes, booster seat). The board games, video games, air hockey table, and fire pit provided lots of entertainment options. The view of the lake is so beautiful and the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Also, the booking process and communication from the property manager were excellent. Would definitely rent again!

Anniversary weekend trip

My stay this weekend was fantastic, from the moment we pulled up to the house . The house was exactly like the pictures but so much better , you have to stay here to believe it, everything was set up so nice and clean , its a must that i definitely will be back . Drew was nice and answered all my questions in a timely manner!! I loved everything about this house from the kitchen space , so many eating areas to choose to eat at , the fire pit and chairs was i go to the whole weekend at night , thanks again for allowing myself husband and family/ friends to stay here this weekend past for my Anniversary!!

Wow from the minute that I stepped into the house

It is all about the details and this house was top notch when it came to that! I was so impressed with how on point the house from what we saw in the photos. There was a tablet that welcomed me by name and snacks left for us (and a bottle of wine). The beds were comfy with soft sheets..made me feel right at home. We were able to use the kayaks which were a big hit for our kids. There was nothing that we needed that we couldn’t find in the house. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again in the future.

This property has everything you’re looking for!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was impeccably clean with so much to do for families! The dock was beautiful and we enjoyed using the kayaks the house had to offer. There were several life jackets in an assortment of sizes. This house was wonderfully stocked with everything we needed and more! There was plenty of bedding, towels, toiletries and pillows. The kitchen was so well stocked to do any kind of cooking, there was a lovely gift basket with wine, bottled water, snacks and everything to make s’mores! Everything was in great condition and seemed to be brand new. Everyone in our group kept commenting on how nice the house was.

They thought of it all!!

This property is very clean. I felt like I walked into a newly furnished home that had been renovated very well. They literally thought of everything we would need and then some. I am a contractor and I was very pleased with the finishes. The access to the dock area was very gradual for my older family members. Plenty of parking for our vehicles and boat trailer. Only quirks were the house sleeps 12, we only had 8 people. It wasn’t possible for all of us to dine in one space. Just a suggestion they might screen in the upper deck and add a fan to make dining there all little more comfortable. We had a great week with the weather. The location is a little tough for renting boats, waverunners, etc. There is not much close by. Our boat rental did deliver the boat to us and pick it back up. But renting a waverunner was impossible because of the distance to a marina that rents. We would highly recommend this property!!
