1: The outside door doesn’t stay closed & blows open during the night or when you open the interior door.2: There is a mold like odor throughout the cottage.3: The bathroom sink drains very slowly like it is clogged.4. The tub drain is filled with hair, for this reason we never used it.5. The bathroom light switch needs to be repaired/ replaced. You have to hold it in the right spot to get it to stay on.

We just had a great experience in NJ with VRBO and thought this would be similar. From the beginning the communication with the management company was horrible. All questions either weren’t answered or took forever. When they sent the link for early check in (which I asked for a week in advance) I got it the day before. I requested 1 pm and was going to pay for the three hours. (In NJ they let us check in early). I immediately received an email that said, “no early check in or late check out available. So we didn’t go early and killed time. A day into the trip I got another email saying my early check in was approved and then was charged. I’m glad I saved everything for the dispute. Now, about the place. The dishes smelled horrible. There was no cleaning products and we had o buy our own. It wasn’t horrible but a little run down. The shower had no pressure and stains on it. I completely overpaid bc we wanted a nicer place for my kids baseball tournament. This wasn’t it.

Huron Vacation

Stayed here for a family vacation. The property is a nice place to stay and relax. It’s close to many attractions. The Rye Beach access is nice and only a couple minute walk from the house. The house was clean and comfortable. This is the second time staying at this property and would again in the future.

Cute and quaint

Was a good little place and was only 30 min away from marble head and about 15 from cedar point! Close to many fun things while being in a cute and safe little neighborhood ! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a little getaway !

Property was as advertised. There was a little backyard with a fence which was a nice surprise. We traveled with our dogs so this was great. Cottage is not large but it has everything you need. Communication was not very efficient. We had trouble with the thermostat as the weather was really cold and we needed heat. Thank goodness for online videos we finally figured it out. There was no book of information in the cottage. This was disappointing. However, we had a great time in 50 degree weather in May with constant rain for 3 days and we would return to this property.

Great stay all we needed! Fenced in yard makes it great for pets. Beats a hotel any day. Nice neighborhood. Tight parking with a 16 ft enclosed if you don’t know how to back up a trailer. Neighbor offered his driveway, worst case. I took it as a hold my beer.

Great little place. Clean, nice neighborhood. We stayed for a weekend for our granddaughters sports tournament, 10 minutes from venue. Convenient to restaurants, mall, etc...

Nice little spot for a Lake Erie getaway

Nice quiet little neighborhood with easy access to Lake Erie's lovely shore lines. The checkin and out process was easy, and the beds were comfortable! And left a valuable electronic behind the the cleaning staff found it and turned it in! I very much appreciate their honesty!

Cleanliness

I am thankful there was a mop and bucket. From the kitchen to the front door and porch area there was a sticky substance either in large areas or a splotchy drip line. We mopped upon arrival and then all was good. With that being said. The house met our needs and our pets.

Fantastic Find!

This cottage is very cute and has everything you need. Nice comfortable beds and lots of hot water in the shower made for an enjoyable stay. We will definitely book again.

Fishing trip

Nice place for a couple guys on a fishing trip. Smaller boats would fit the driveway but larger ones require the neighbors hospitality. House fit our needs and was warm and dry.

volleyball tournament weekend

The property was spotless and check in a breeze. We loved the location, it is right down the road from the Cedar Point sports complex. The neighborhood was quiet and the house had everything we needed.

Wonderful house and amazing customer service

We took the trip for the kids to go to the Kalahari waterpark. The house is beautiful, clean and very well stocked with everything you need! Being a host myself, the most important part is the customer service! I want to give a shout out to Nick! We had to contact him on Saturday at 9pm and let me tell you this! He answered the phone within one ring and immediately took care of what we need it! That definitely earned my loyalty to this property when returning to the area! Also, the location it is great; very nice neighborhood, safe, close to amazing Italian restaurants and just 7 minutes from the waterpark. I highly recommend! Nick, again thank you! Keep up the amazing work! You really made us feel cared for and important! Will return and will recommend to everyone! Sincerely, Codruta

Fun

We made a little girls trip with myself, my daughter, and my mom for my daughter’s nationals softball tournament in Sandusky back in July. The house was perfect for the 3 of us and we had a great time. It has a nice little patio in the back but the inside space was was perfect for relaxing in the evening.

Cute cottage with plenty of room

It was just the two of us so there was plenty of room. I was particularly drawn to the big living room, backyard with grill and the laundry room. This stay was only part of our trip, so to be able to wash our clothes and continue on with 2nd half was wonderful. Being able to walk down to the playground and beach was definitely a plus. Can’t wait to visit again.

Clean, cozy, great location

The host was very friendly and communicative. Check-in was seamless. Property was just as described and had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Great location, close to Cedar Point and Marblehead/Catawba, etc. Lots to do in the area!
