Everything you need is available in the kitchen, including a few items for meals. Restaurants and shopping are plentiful in the area and the home is conveniently located to the beach. Just be aware that you have to cross a busy street to get there.

The condo was clean, the beds were comfy and it was located within walking distance to the beach and the many restuarants and shops nearby. The only thing of note was that the grass wasnt cut and there were cigarette butts where the lawn chairs were. Not that big a deal but with a little upkeep the place would be lovely. We really enjoyed our stay.

The home was close to the beach, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed the Round Bird Coffee Shop. Wi-fi worked well, the kitchen looked well stocked with the basic needed items, but we only ate in once since we were there for a wedding. Bathroom supplies, like shampoo/conditioner, towels and TP were provided. It would be great to add some extra pillows and blankets for the futon.

Walls and ceiling of the downstairs do not block any sound. You hear everything that is happening outside and upstairs. It’s as if the windows are always open. Someone was staying upstairs (we were unaware someone else would be on the property with us) and they were walking in the middle of the night. The stairwell is located next to one bedroom and we knew when the other people were coming and going at 1:00am. The yard was unattended to. The outside is not appealing at all.

Less than 5min walk to the beach.

This two bedroom home is exactly as advertised. Less than five minutes from the beach and a minute and a half from Dairy Queen and their blizzards.Place was clean and Internet speed perfect for working while away. would definitely stay here again.

Bedbugs

Both beds on this property contain bedbugs. When I communicated this to the property owner, it was denied. Also there is an electrical issue in the kitchen so that sometimes the light can cause a mild electrical shock. This was also brought to the attention of the property owner. It was outright disregarded and ignored. I would say communication was very poor.

Bugs and Bad Communication

Please thoroughly read this review before booking. I booked four nights here but didn’t stay due to a bug in the bedding and bad communication.Check-in was stressful, the code provided didn’t work and when after attempting to call the host, they told us they would only text. Took us 20 mins to unlock the property.Upon checking one of the beds, we found a live bug in between the sheets. Since the mite-like insect was found in the bedding we were worried about bedbugs or worse. We didn't want to get bit or an infestation spreading to our luggage.Again, we contacted the property manager with repeated phone calls, a voicemail, and messages including photos and video of the insect. We were left to find new accommodations last minute after a long day of travel. They didn’t get back to us until the next day after we got Vrbo support involved. They failed to demonstrate understanding or accountability, only offering a refund of only two nights, despite the fact we weren't able to stay at all due to health and safety concerns. Since explaining that such a resolution is unacceptable, the property manager has stopped communicating choosing to leave the matter unresolved.Also worth mentioning the hallway mirror is cracked, another potential safety concern.Many other stays available in Jacksonville Beach and I recommend considering those instead of risking the experience we had.

Close to the beach

The house was a little old and had a funny smell. The grass was in desperate need of cutting. There were people above us that you could hear walking around and I was by myself part of the time, so it was kind of creepy. But overall, it served the purpose. It was close to the beach (walking distance) and had good parking for two cars.If I had any questions, the host responded quickly.

Simple but quaint

This home is simple but very quaint inside and very accommodating. It was more spacious inside than the pictures reveal. We loved the location (3 blocks from the beach and easy access to the highway). We could walk to a wonderful coffee shop 2 blocks away. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to spend time in the heart of Jacksonville Beach.

Perfect for our needs

Wife and I were in town for our son's games. Internet speed was good enough for both of us to work all day Thursday taking multiple meetings on 2 laptops with little to no lag. If we did not have hockey to attend to, our car would not have had to move the entire 5 days as everything you could want is walkable. Lisa is outstanding at communication. If we are ever back in the area, this will be our place to stay rather than an overpriced hotel.

GA/FL football trip

Place was perfect size for me and a friend for GA/FL football stay. Walking distance to most of the bars, restaurants in Jax Beach. Short walk to beach. Property manager communicated well. Would stay here again.

Adorable bungalow at the beach

This property is a wonderful place to stay for 2-4 people. It has everything you need and withing walking distance to the beach. Lots of great bars and restaurants close by. Here are some things I wish the property had: Lamps in the rooms Room darkening curtains in the bedrooms. Outside water spigot to rinse off feet, beach chairs However, these two things are definitely not deal killers and we would stay there again!

Small, older property close to the beach. Upstairs is a separate rental and creaky wooden stairs going up there is the only reason I didnt give 5 stars.
