Host communicated well, the photos were older but furniture was comparable so no issues! We were visiting both Salem and Boston so the location was good, a little off the beaten path but I much prefer this personally. If you are a believer- we definitely experienced some things being there the days surrounding Halloween and slept with lights on and mirrors turned. Would stay again. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been having more supplies in the kitchen that would be commonly used by all future guests- like salt/pepper, sugar, cooking spray!

Great, comfortable guest cottage

Beautiful neighborhood, quiet and peaceful. Unit was clean and modern. Communication with the host was prompt and check in and check out was simple. Would stay again 100%.

Not so spookyvacay

The property was clean and the owners were nice. Depending on what you're there for however the location was not great. There was a very primitive road to get back to it. The property advertised a bed and a hot tub that were not there. One of us had to sleep on the couch. Also the washing machine kept tripping the breaker and we had to reach out to the owners to reset it every time we used it

Cute & Quaint

My partner and 2 friends stayed at this quaint and cute place. It provided a good setting to spend with friends and had the basic necessities. We did feel like there were certain things missing, ex, a fan, and small little touches. These things wouldn't impact your stay, however, it was something that stayed with us. It was a great place for 2 couples or 2 individuals. Thank you so much for a great getaway and a cute town. I would consider staying again in the future.

Very kind and accommodating hosts

The place is in the lower level of a very beautiful house in Melrose. The place was clean, had everything you could need from cooking items to an additional mattress to use if needed. The host was extremely helpful and communicative. The house was also located halfway between Salem and Boston, perfect spot to get away from the rush and still easily visit and explore. I would love to stay here again if I visit the area another time.

Lovely Getaway

What a lovely getaway. The grounds were beautiful and the parking very easy. We arrived very late and were so happy to see some coffee available for the morning!

Beautiful location! Perfect for a Girls Trip

This rental unit is exactly as described, if not better. We were amazed at the cleanliness and quality of the unit. Slept three females on a girls trip with no issues. There is a ceiling fan in one of the rooms which helped me sleep even better. Well stocked and plenty of linens. Easy to access and very safe location.

Beautiful apartment

We stayed 2 nights with our daughter and son-in-law. It was conveniently located for our visits to Boston. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful with the one small issue we experienced. The landscaping and outside patio were well done and relaxing. We highly recommend this property and would stay again ourselves.

Nice apartment in Melrose MA

The stay was pleasant and the host had provider clear instructions and all that is necessary to make yourself home away from home. The area beautiful and more or less accessible via public transportation to Boston and the surrounding university towns. The neighborhood felt very safe and secure.

What a place!

The place was in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The grounds were well kept with plenty of flowers It was very spacious. There was plenty of lighting. The kitchen had a great deal of counter space. Everything was working great - the fridge, stove, and microwave. There were pots, pans and plates. Also utensils. There was a comfortable sofa in the living room. There was a small patio that had a light for sitting outside at night. There was a grill. The beds were comfortable. There was a closet with extra blankets and pillows. One bedroom had a desk, full length mirror and a ceiling fan. The hosts lived upstairs if you had any questions. They were friendly and easy to talk with. The place was about fifteen to twenty minutes away from Revere Beach. There were grocery stores nearby.

Beautiful, safe property away from hustle and bustle of Boston, but still close to drive to train station to get there. Beautiful property, clean and had necessities such as shampoo, cleanser, spices to make your stay even nicer!

Great apartment!

We loved this location and the owners were super helpful and responsive. Very clean and quiet, and beautiful flowers and landscaping outside. Perfect for our stay visiting family and hitting the tourist spots in Boston. We hope to come back soon!

Cute and quaint

The property is a cool house with the apartment on the bottom, secluded up the driveway. Bathroom shower was great. We didn’t cook anything. The air didn’t seem to stay on so it did get warm even when I turned it down.

Excellent private apt

Everything from check in to check out was easy! The location is excellent, close to RT 1. Lovely simplistic decor. Meticulously clean. Very comfortable beds . Gorgeous landscaping. We had a dog with us and walking him was easy in the neighborhood. Close to breakheart reservation for a nature walk. Great home away from home! Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful spot

This was a nicely furnished ground level apartment in a home located in a very quiet suburban neighborhood. At night the loudest sounds came from the spring peepers in the wetlands at the bottom of the road! The host was very friendly and responsive. Lots of room in the apartment which even had its own patio. Great for a small group or family- even the pet can come!
