Serene Luxury on a Quiet Cove

If you are craving luxurious tranquility with the convenience of lake access, you've found it. Fully remodeled and newly furnished home on a calm Lake Jordan slough with a covered dock, just yards from open water. Open floorplan with large living area and all new kitchen and dining with large farm style table to seat 10. There is an additional sitting area to take in the amazing view. Large primary suite on the main level with jetted tub. Also on the main level is a screened in porch and upper rear deck with beautiful views to enjoy a nice dinner and sunset. The lower level has a second large living area with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. A laundry is located on the main level for your convenience. Enjoy smores around the large firepit with plenty of seating for family and friends. This is the perfect place to escape and find serenity.

***NOTE: Our internet service is not ultra high speed. (It's the best available in the area.) The signal is more than suitable for sending e-mails, texting, and browsing websites, but may not be fast enough for gaming or streaming movies. We do have Dish service at all three televisions.
***NOTE: If you plan on docking a boat at the property, please know that the inlet/slough we are located on is shallow and may not accommodate a boat with a draft greater than 24" +/-.

Outstanding house

We celebrated Thanksgiving and this kitchen was great. The decor was so inviting and open. Lots of areas to get away or mingle. Best trip in years.

Family getaway.

This was a beautiful property. The view was amazing and it was a very peaceful. Check in was super simple, owners even checked in with us on 2nd day to make sure everything was going ok. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Absolutely Gorgeous

The house was well furnished and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay while our home was being repaired. Parked our boat in the boat house and enjoyed the lake as much as possible. The owners were very nice and checked in often. Will definitely book again in the future.

Wedding weekend

Needed a place away from the city for my guys to stay during my wedding weekend and this place absolutely fit the bill. Amazing customer service from the super attentive owners and we loved the views from the deck, the fire pit and the comfortable decor. Can't wait to come back out with friends and family for a little escape close to the Montgomery, wetumpka, or Prattville area.

Great house on the water

The most well stocked house i have stayed in. Plenty of towels, dishes, other kitchen needs, and many other items you often over look. The property grounds were excellent and the out door fire pit was fabulous. The host was super and we had zero issues.

Great Get Away

This place is absolutely amazing. The yard is wild cats and manicured. It had a credible fire pit. I loved the steps down to the dock. The inside of a house was staged to the tea. Our family really enjoyed the coffee and the s’more’s that were provided. The house was well supplied and had great views. This was the perfect three night get away.

Best Getaway Home Ever

We went to the area for a family wedding. The home was perfect for our group. It is even more beautiful and spacious than depicted in the pictures. So much space to relax and chill. My boys loved going down to the water to fish. Everything we could have needed was provided. The hosts were super easy to communicate with. We LOVED our stay and would love to stay there again! Top notch!

Hidden Gem near Montgomery.

I have a visited my family in Montgomery many times over the years, and even they did not know there was such a beautiful area so near town. A little out of the way, but in a good way. Beautiful location and home. House was spacious, with lots of great group areas and bedrooms. Several large usable outdoor spaces will make this great in spring and fall. Owner was very helpful and communicative. Highly recommend this house. We hope to come back again.

Beautiful and comfortable house on a quiet slough

House is very spacious and offers just about every amenity you could ask for. Our party consisted of 8 adults and we were all comfortable. There’s a nice dock and boat lift, but the slough that the house is on is pretty shallow and looks stagnant. Not great for swimming.

Great House!

The house was great! I liked the design and feel of the house. It was clean, spacious, bright. Well stocked. We had fun with s’mores on the fire pit. Very nice owners. Not really a view of the lake but the house is on a nicely landscaped yard/hill that looks out into the tree tops which is pretty. Swimming is a no go because it’s too shallow and mucky. If you have a boat then it’s no problem to get out on the open lake.

Our best Lake Jordan rental!

We live on Lake Jordan & enjoy hosting family gatherings. We have used other short-term rental houses for additional bedrooms & this one is the nicest by far! It is clean & beautifully furnished, as well as nicely maintained, both inside & out. All of our guests who stayed in the house mentioned how well they slept with the comfortable beds & quiet surroundings. After I saw the gorgeous, well-furnished & spacious living/gathering spots both inside and outside the home, I felt compelled to institute a “no hanging out at the Cliffside house” rule to facilitate the family reunion taking place at MY own house! This home will be my first choice any time we need additional room. Thank you for a great stay!

4th vaccination

Property was absolutely amazing. Everything in house is up to date and very nice. If you take a boat be sure to stay in the middle of channel from lake it is very shallow. Only thing I would suggest would be maybe some lights goin down stairs from house to boat house. It’s very dark at night . Other than that property was perfect will definitely check to see if available on our next trip.

Best Host and Stay Ever

We had to find a rental do to our house flooding and we wanted to stay close to where we live. Contacted Mike about staying a few weeks which turned into quite a bit more. He was very understanding of the situation and worked with us in every way. Ended up staying from 03/15/2024-04/14/2024 and when insurance wouldn’t extend our stay Mike and Gail let us stay another week till we were able to get our house ready. They are amazing people and we will not forget how they helped us. This house is amazing, the decor is amazing and it had plenty of room for our family. We were able to bring our tri toon and leave in the boat house which was awesome. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to get away. Very peaceful. Will definitely stay again in the future under different circumstances.

Wonderful stay at the lake

Our home is under construction and we rented this property to have a place large enough to house all of our family for the holiday. The transaction to rent the home was simple and trouble-free. Communication from the owners was prompt and they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of throughout the stay. The home was more than we could have asked for. Super clean, updated, large rooms, and well equipped with just about anything you would need to have for an extended stay. Kitchen was stocked so well and much better than places we have rented in the past. We were able to cook out on the grill, two separate living areas for when the little kids want a place to watch movies and hang out away from the adults. It was freezing outside when we were there but the deck and back yard overlooking the water looked like a wonderful place to hang out when it gets warm again. Overall just a great home for a large family looking to spend some time at one of the best lakes in Alabama.

We renovated this home to provide a wonderful place for our family to gather and create memories. The privacy and peacefulness were key, and it had plenty of bedrooms for our blended family. We wanted a modern rustic place to call our home away from home. This is just a great place to escape and forget all your troubles.
