Lakefront cabin with wall of windows and game room!

Unwind and stay a while at the Bear Cub Lodge on the north shore of Mille Lacs Lake!! Enjoy picturesque views from the "wall of windows" with beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Fish off the dock, swim off the shore or tool around the lake. Kick back and relax near the woodburning fireplace in the living room, a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of room for cooking and serving, washer/dryer on site. We are a family/kid friendly property, enjoy the flat yard for games, 2 kayaks for use and more! Heated game room in the garage w/ shuffle board, arcade game and ping pong!!!
Large cabin w/ a main floor private bedroom & bathroom, 2 upper level bedrooms w/ connected bathroom and loft, beautiful views on Mille Lacs Lake, fully stocked kitchen, kid friendly, dog friendly. There is a lot to do in the area from fishing, boating, snowmobiling, hiking, biking, shopping, golfing and more!
We will provide access information the day of check in.
We do have security cameras on the property at the entrance.

Cabin was beautiful, the windows overlooking the lake are amazing! The kitchen was well appointed and clean. Our hosts were very accommodating and responsive.

Book your reservation! Fabulous lake home with beautiful view of the lake. Home is very clean, and very comfortable with plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked, anything you need is there. The game room is loads of fun, location of home is on a good road, easy to get to and just a short drive from/to Aitkin.

Beautiful home on the north side of Mille Lac's Lake with plenty of room for the whole family. Having the master bedroom on the main floor allowed our elderly parent to have a space he could get around with a walker with ease.We appreciate the hosts allowing a small dog in their house so our whole family could get away to enjoy the lake views for a few days.Ashleigh responded to our questions before and during our stay in a timely manner.The games in the garage were a nice treat.

Inside home was clean. Owner response great. Windows were plastered with bugs which we cleaned lower level ourselves to enjoy lake view. Garage/game room smelled so fishy and we eve swept out tons of bugs on the floor. Lawn wasn’t mowed and we had to fill propane tank ourselves and grill was dirty. Master bathtub drain was slow. Based on other stays at Vrbo’s we were disappointed. We did enjoy the view.

House was very cozy and clean, all amenities that were needed were supplied. Outside the property wasnt the greatest due to all the lake bugs you couldnt use the outdoor furniture or grill. The swing would been nice to use but wood was rotted. Otherwise the garage had games for the kids and house on the inside was very relaxing. Would stay again but maybe a different time of the year.

Amazing Family Trip

This was the perfect property for our multi-generational family trip. The games in the garage were great for our three boys (25, 22, & 16yo). The minimal stairs necessary to navigate in order to enjoy the property was perfect for my 77yo mom!We barely left the property. When we did, we utilized the recommendations of our host, Ashleigh, and rented jet skis from Randy's and ate at the Block North Brew Pub. We also rented a pontoon from Your Boat Club and enjoyed the day on the lake. We were able to temporarily dock the boat right at the house to load our things and to get my mom on board. The house was clean and very well stocked. We had all the amenities that you would need and more. Ashleigh was very responsive in answering any question that I had leading up to the stay. We had no need to contact her while we were there, but she responded very promptly to our farewell message, too!Do not hesitate to book this rental and enjoy some lake life!

Place was lovely, well-equipped and clean. We had a couple of relaxing days. Weather didn’t cooperate but time with family was wonderful. Easy booking and communication was easy and any questions were answered within an hour.

Another year away at a home away from home

My friends and I look forward to this location for a weekend away and enjoying food, drink, and games. This location has been a favorite for all that time. Cozy in winter and has room for us to spread out.Thanks so much for offering this place!

Beautiful cabin on the lake

My friends and I had a great stay in the cabin. Overall the cabin is beautiful and modern. The kitchen is well-appointed, and there are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a small town nearby if you need provisions. My only feedback to the owner(s) would be to please provide slightly higher quality toilet paper and paper towels. One-ply makes me sad. Thanks for the great weekend!

Fall Fishing Trip

The place was perfect for our fishing trip. Four guys in there 40s need a nice bed and comfortable place to sit after fishing for hours and hours. Parking was great for parking boats. This is also a very family freindly place

Mille Lacs Lake

The cabin (more like a house actually) is beautiful, fresh looking and exactly matches the photos and description in the listing. The owner answered all my inquiries promptly, Ashleigh was great to deal with. The large windows provide an expansive view of the lake. The cabin is large enough to comfortably fit a good sized group. The only downside is that the dock is not well suited to tie up a boat. It's too high above the water and doesn't have provisions for protecting the boat when moored. The water is also very shallow near shore, although that makes it nice for water play. I still rate this cabin 5/5 based on all the other great attributes.

Perfect Lake Side Place

Stayed here with my parents for their 60th anniversary. They loved it! Lovely place, great view. Perfect for my aging parents to be on one level and sit outside. Quiet area, well maintained and very comfortable.

Beautiful relaxing spot

Had a wonderful visit with college friends enjoying the lovely yard and lake. House is comfortable and fully equipped in a nice neighborhood. Bring insect repellent!

Great place for a get away and loads of fun

Terrific communication with the hosts. They answered most of our questions before we even needed to ask; and were quick to respond to anything we inquired about. Common areas were wonderfully appointed to accommodate our group of 6 - either lounging on the couches or sitting around the tables. Kitchen and pantry were supplied with everything we needed and more. Gaming area in the garage was wonderful for times when weather wasn't ideal or when we wanted to stay up later without being too loud for the neighbors. If you want to get in the water near the dock, suggest you bring water shoes - it's rocky and slippery but surprisingly not very weedy. Having access to the lily pad was great for floating.

Relaxing Week at the Lake

Exactly as presented, six of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the ping pong, floaties for the lake, and the wonderful view. Great food in Brainerd too!

Wonderful week for multi-state extended family

A huge family reunion nearby brought us to the area. Very clean, enough space and bathrooms for everyone. The game room and patio were big hits. The view of Lake Mille Lacs was beautiful. The property has a long driveway off a main road, which limited long walks for us. Our host was always available and helpful.

Second stay here

A fantastic location with all the comforts of home. This is the second year our friend group went up to enjoy this property, and it was as good as the first time there! We hope to be back for a third, it's that good!
