In this car-free, walkable beach town, Plaza Carlotta 11 gets you in, out, and everywhere the fastest. In this hillside beach town where stairsteps are inevitable, but less is more, Carlota11 lets you save your energy for the fun stuff!

This stunning and fun 2-bedroom flat, overlooking a beautiful plaza from each of its 2terraces, and highlighted by natural light coming from the windows in the home’s 10 sets of French Doors, perfectly blends comfort and nature.

Approaching the flat, you walk through the lovely tree-lined Plaza Carlota to be greeted by the sight and sound of water cascading over its magnificent fountain. Up 6 stairsteps, the home’s front door opens into a cheerful entry featuring a private shower for rinsing off beach sand or freshening up after a day on the trails.

The open living area features an oversize white micro-concrete island, framed by 6 comfortable bar stools. The fully appointed kitchen has custom wood cabinets and stainless-steel appliances, a welcoming hub of activity.

Opening 3 sets of French Doors, you will find a private terrace running the length of the home, complete with a splash pool, lounge chairs, BBQ grill and a beautifully finished teak cabaret table with 4 high-top chairs. All of this is framed by a charming.
little garden with mature almond trees – a refreshing spot for breakfast or relaxation, a dip, a party, or a nice view of town. And a bonus – an all-organic, non-toxic misting system eliminates those pesky mosquitoes.

Back inside, to the right of the kitchen, a cozy living area invites you to sink into a comfortable sofa or chair while you visit with family and friends or flip on the flat-screen TV. The 3 French Doors on this side of the home open onto the dining terrace, featuring a live-edge Guanacaste wood table with 6 chairs.

And, a nice surprise, the living area can be converted to a private ensuite third bedroom by opening the sofa to a queen-size bed. It incorporates the half-bath that opens directly off the room and the shower in the entry, there are even bi-fold doors.

The 2 large bedrooms are down the hall, each with 2 sets of French doors opening onto the pool terrace. The master has a king bed, built-in desk with cabinets and drawers, and ensuite bathroom. The guest bedroom, which also has a desk, can be
made up as a king bed or two twins. The bathroom is directly across the hall.

So that everyone can relax at Plaza Carlota 11, a complimentary half-day housekeeping service is included once EVERY 4 nights of your stay. The parking service is for free, the town is vehicle-free and makes a great place to relax, meet great people, and have the best vacation possible.

About the area

Widely acclaimed, Las Catalinas is a Mediterranean-inspired community of gracefully. winding walkways, magnificent homes, a stunning Beach Club with 3 pools, jacuzzi, and gym – as well as soft sandy beaches, and a glorious warm ocean with just-right waves. Wandering through the car-free town you will find a variety of restaurants, bars, shops and fun gathering areas, including a splash pad, grassy play area and soccer field. Exercise options are numerous. In addition to working out on the beach, you will find over 25 miles of mountain biking and hiking trails, an indoor gym, an outdoor all-wood gym and daily yoga, core, fitness and dance classes.

Bikes, kayaks, snorkel gear, SUP boards, boogie boards, and fishing gear can be rented right on the beach, at Pura Vida Ride. And be sure to grab your own beach chairs, beach towels and cooler from the flat before you head out.


Everywhere you go, you will find friendly and active people, ready to join you in conversation - or wish you “Pura Vida” if you prefer to quietly enjoy the beauty and serenity.

In order to maintain the security that everyone deserves, it is necessary to present the identification of the person who made the reservation at the time of check-in. We greatly appreciate your support.

The parking service is for free, the town is vehicle-free and makes a great place to relax, meet great people, and have the best vacation possible.

Beach Club access (Pools, jacuzzi, gym, restaurant service) is available for $16 per person, per day and may be purchased at the concierge desk of Las Catalinas.

Notice

Las Catalinas is committed to the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. That’s why up to second week of May, there will be undergoing renovations to enhance your experience. During this period, the kids pool will be temporarily closed, but don't worry, the lap and adult pool will remain open for some family fun! Additionally, the restaurant's bar will continue to serve you with a specially crafted, though reduced menu. There will be a fee of $16 for entry during this renovation period, but it is fully redeemable on food and drinks! Please note that there might be noise and some dust. Thank you for your understanding.


Las Catalinas is a community in a constant state of growth, and because of this, there may be construction in the area, at specific hours for minimal disturbance.
