Hill Country Gem- 5 Acres, Hot Tub, Barn w/ games

Welcome to Mischief Creek. We are nestled in the gorgeous hills of Wimberley Texas. Our 5-acre ranch is one of a kind and will be sure to satisfy all your needs; whether it’s a family retreat or a nature-inspired getaway with friends.

We offer a hot tub, bocce ball, cornhole set, putting strip, wet bar, Tv’s in barn for sports, shuffleboard, arcade games, board games, patio on the pond, a walking trail around the entire 5 acres, and fire pit!
The space
Mischief Creek is truly a one-stop wonder! Take the time to decompress from the everyday hustle and bustle and sit under the stars, roast marshmallows in the huge fire pit, wake up to the peaceful sounds of the creek running through the ranch to the tranquil pond, bring out the inner kid and have fun in the arcade, or playing one of our many lawn games such as bocce ball, cornhole or washers! The world is your oyster here at Mischief Creek!

You will have full access to the main house, casita, barn, and the surrounding property on which it sits.

Even out in the country, you’ll have plenty to do! We offer a hot tub, cornhole, horseshoes, bocce ball, wet bar, TVs in the barn for sports, shuffleboard, arcade games, board games, a patio on the pond, and a walking trail around the entire 5 acres, and a fire pit! Plus there is a large picnic area to enjoy dinner! We also offer an outdoor grill (the gas is on us!). Don’t forget to dine at night under the stars.

The main house comfortably sleeps 8 with the option of additional children making beds on the floor in the living room area, should guests choose to bring their own sleeping bags.

There are 3 bedrooms in the main house: the first bedroom is right off the kitchen that has 2 bunk beds, the 2nd room has a queen bed, and the 3rd room with a king-size bed and a reading nook.

If you’re needing a private area, The
Casita is perfect for you! It sleeps 4 with a queen bed and a hide-away bed in the sofa.

Please note the barn does not have heat or A/C. So depending on outdoor temperatures, the barn temp can vary. We do offer a space heater in the barn for colder nights, and it is equipped with 2 large ceiling fans for during warmer days. The barn also has two bar refrigerators.

Our kitchen is fully stocked and comes with all the essentials for cooking including a spice rack, tin foil, wax paper, olive oil cooking spray, etc.!

We are also conveniently located less than 10 minutes from downtown, as well as close to many Wimberley wineries, bars, and restaurants.

Electric Vehicle Charging: We do have 220v outlets that you may use to charge your electric car, however, please note you will need to provide your own charging cable.

RV Spots: We do have 3 RV spots available. If you're interested in expanding your party and parking an RV please message us ahead of time to arrange. There will be a $55 per day charge for RV hookups.
Guest access
Guest Access is provided to the main house via a keypad. Keys for the Casita and Barn will be located in the house.
Other things to note
WIFI: While the property does have wifi, we are in a very rural area. Wifi speeds typically run between 3-8mbs download speed which is typically fast enough to stream a movie or take a Zoom call, but speeds can vary. If you're coming out to Mischief Creek we hope you will be unplugging as much as possible.

SHOE RULE: Please take your shoes off in the main house and casita. It’s the country y’all and walking from each building on the property can be a little muddy. It helps us tremendously to keep our home so fresh and so clean clean clean. Thanks in advance !

CASITA: Please note that the Casita DOES NOT HAVE A BATHROOM. If you're staying in the casita you will have to use the bathroom inside the house.

SEPTIC SYSTEM: Please do not flush any feminine products or non-degradable items down the toilet or huge amounts of toilet paper at one time. Toilet paper only may be flushed. Don't ruin your stay by having this happen to you.
Tell your family! Dispose of kitchen grease in the kitchen trash when cool. Extra charges apply if you don't comply, and we have to call in a plumber. PLEASE ADVISE EVERYONE IN YOUR GROUP.

WILDLIFE: Our house is on a 5-acre ranch in rural Texas. Critters, crawlers, snakes, fire ants, etc. are a part of nature and are possible findings on the property. Please always be careful to watch your step and going barefoot is NOT recommended. If ever needed there is a first-aid kit under the kitchen sink.
