The unit was exceptionally clean and quite large with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We enjoyed playing games at the large kitchen table and watching a movie as a family when Amish Country shut down for the evening. We didn't have any noise from the restaurant downstairs (Cars, people, kitchen sounds etc). I would book this unit again!

The location of this property is excellent. It’s above a breakfast diner but it’s very quiet, comfortable and close to all area attractions. The host is excellent and responsive. we were very comfortable and will come again for sure because we loved our stay there. If you have mobility challenges, you need to be aware that there are steps leading up to this location.

Very nice place to stay and so accommodating, clean and close to other towns like Berlin, millersburg, etc. If anyone in the group is handicapped; this is not the place for you only due to stairs. We would stay here again. Cafe downstairs had great food; especially breakfast and not pricey.

Beautiful, but

This beautiful apartment is a second floor walk up with 17 steep stairs. This is not mentioned in the listing. It is on the main street of town which makes it convenient to all area events but loud trucks rumble down the street all night long. The host was very nice and offered to let us stay at another place she had but that was only after we loaded everything up the stairs and we did not want to take a chance on something we had not even seen. The place itself was very pretty but the master bedroom stayed substantially warmer than the rest of the appartment. Also the "natural stone steps" leading to the outer door were very steep. One of our guests had a very difficult time every time we exited/entered the building. I am adding pictures to show how many steps there are in the stair case and also one of the outside stone steps. You can see that the stone step is so high it comes to mid-calf of the gentleman standing beside it.

Beautiful place in a great location!

The house was beautiful and exceptionally clean and located in the perfect place for checking out all the local sites. One note - there are quite a few steps up to the residence that we didn't expect that were a bit of a challenge for an older person in the group that has trouble walking. Still a great time was had by all!

It was a very well maintained and beautifully decorated home. We enjoyed our stay very much. Some in our party struggled with the deep stairs and with the amount of stairs needed to reach the apartment. So be aware that that may be an issue. Otherwise it was totally lovely!

Girls trip

We visit sugar creek every year on spring break. This housing has been our best yet. 5 very comfortable beds large walk-in showers family room and kitchen very large and very well supplied. We truly enjoyed the stay . Our host was exceptionally nice to us.

Hi I'm Kathy. Sugarcreek has a special place in my heart. When my grandmother was 12 she and her family came from Switzerland and settled in Sugarcreek, Ohio. Many years later after I was born my family spent much time visiting the area. After moving away to the city for 20+ years God brought me back to my roots and I bought this building in 2013. With my remodeling experience, I renovated the building that now houses Campbell Creek Pretzels on the main floor, Violin Lessons on the lowest level, and two Suites on the upper floor for hosting guests.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

When I renovated the upper level, I thought this would be my forever home, turns out God had other plans and now I have a wonderful space that I'm able to share. Since the area is so large, I decided to divide it into 2 spaces so that someone needing just 1 bedroom & bathroom could have one Suite. A family or group of friends could easily spread out in the 4-bedroom areas + kitchen & living room. Of course, a family and or friends could rent the whole upstairs as well.

This is a great place to stay to be close to everything in Amish Country but you can relax and hang out in this private getaway and not even realize how busy the streets are unless you look down on them from your cool view.
