The Greenhouse: A peaceful retreat minutes from all Williamsburg has to offer

At the Greenhouse you are minutes to everything Williamsburg has to offer; Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water Country, the College of William and Mary, Yorktown Battlefield, local wineries and breweries, and restaurants galore!

Our house is set on a spacious, private location while still being just a few miles away from all the great attractions. There is plenty of room for a family to spread out as well as rooms to gather together. Enjoy being outside- you may even catch a glimpse of some deer, turkeys, and other wildlife and spend time cooling off in the private pool (open seasonally).

Inside there is a game room with a poker table and board games, fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, and a washer and dryer. Everything to make your vacation as easy and relaxing as possible.

The Pet Resort at Greensprings is located right next door. Ask for availability for Doggy Daycare so you can enjoy a longer day away without having to worry about your pets.

This home was amazing! Everything was perfect for Christmas. Beautifully decorated. It was very welcoming for our two dogs. This homes kitchen equipment was great. This property was close to everything in the Williamsburg area. We definitely would recommend a stay at this property.

Such wonderful hospitality and such a lovely place for a Christmas stay. Spotless and well- appointed and truly pet friendly. Host was responsive and welcoming. Just the perfect spot for a relaxed holiday with family!

The house and location were fantastic. The kitchen, laundry, and bedroom amenities were well stocked and very clean. The location was a few miles drive from downtown Williamsburg. We were able to visit Jamestown, Yorktown, and colonial Williamsburg within a 15 minute drive. We texted the owners a couple times for recommendations on restaurants and they provided a response within minutes. All great recommendations. There is a lot of great restaurant choices nearby. We would stay here again!

Five of us stayed at The Greenhouse for our annual Girls' Week. The rental exceeded all of our expectations! Exceptionally clean, comfortable, and spacious - and every accommodation was thought of by the owners - for humans and pets alike. What really bowled us over was the pool area - fabulous! Wonderfully located as well. We visited Williamsburg, Jamestown, Freedom Park with a botanical garden and plenty of walking trails, and the Virginia Capital Trail which extends from Jamestown to Richmond. The owners were extremely responsive - you could tell that they really cared about their guests' experience. We are already planning to return next year. Thank you!

Beautiful property and very cozy! Loved the fact it was Pet friendly and next door to Pet resort. Enjoyed the back yard with an in ground pool. We were able to book a stay for our dog while we went site seeing as a family.

A wonderful home in every way. Jil is a wonderful host, excellent communicator, and answered all our questions quickly and sincerely. The house is also in a great location, both quiet and very close to attractions and shopping. It's a great choice for a trip to Williamsburg and Jamestown. If I ever return to the area, this house will definitely be my first choice. The interior is elegantly designed, and the pool is well-equipped to meet my needs. Thank you, Jil.

Lovely house with plenty of room to spread out and well situated for everything we wanted to do, including Jamestown, Busch Gardens, and William and Mary. The pool was a huge bonus and we enjoyed all the little touches like toilet paper, paper towels, and keurig cups. The kitchen was well stocked and parking was simple. We would come back!

This house is great. Clean, well-stocked, spacious and very conveniently located for trips into Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Jamestown. It is important to note that the property the house is on also contains a busy dog kennel / daycare, as well as a tenant in the garage, apparently. Neither of these things were a problem for us at all, but it is something people should be aware of. If you are a light sleeper, please know that the cars and dogs next door start getting noisy by 7:00am. However, our stay was incredible and the house is quite private and very, very spacious and comfortable. It has avaerying you need, but is clutter-free of all the things you dont need. Great house for families or a girls' / guys' trip...the pool area, sunroom and bar are lovely. So easy to get to grocery, restaurants and entertainment.

Perfect 4th of July Holiday!

My husband and I wanted to have a summer vacation with our infant for the first time. We also have a dog and we really wanted a place the four of us could enjoy together. We loved this home, it was exactly what we wanted! The house was clean and the pool was so much fun. They even had an infant float for the pool which was really nice. We enjoyed the distance to grocery stores and attractions, which was only 10 minutes away. It was nice to be secluded from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Living in Va all our lives we've visited Williamsburg more times than I can count. This time though is the first time I decided to rent a house for my family of 4 rather than stay in a hotel. All I can say is it was 100% worth it. Most rentals in Williamsburg are timeshare and you just don't feel that homey feeling. So, renting this home was just what I was looking for.The hosts are wonderful and very responsive to any needs you may have. When they say you don't need to worry about bringing anything but your personals they're right. The house had all the essentials you'd have at home, plus more; my kids were especially fond of the snow cone maker. Their home is in a secluded off the beaten path but only 10 min from grocery stores, parks and lots of restaurant choices.Its also only within 20 min from all the attractions a family with young kids could want (water country & busch gardens, go ape ziplines, go karts & arcades, etc).Look no further, especially if you are traveling with a pet as they have a pet resort right next store and a gated backyard! I will note, from pool area you will hear pups barking when they are outside playing, but from inside the house you barely even notice. Not a bother for pup lovers like us, if anything we loved watching all the different kinds of pups getting dropped off.

Great stay - appreciated that it was well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen items. We especially loved the pool. You will hear the dogs barking at the pet resort next door, but overall it didn't bother us and we liked watching the dogs arrive in the mornings. Would stay again!

I dont leave reviews usually but this was exactly the short break we needed with family.Loved the location as not far from food/shops and only 20minutes away from Busch Gatdens.Pool was awesome to relax in and the ability to bring our dog as well as an additionally offered dog walking service was nice.Beds were comfortable and master bathroom with big soak tub and double shower was fantasic.Communication with owner was also great.

Top Notch Property. Fantastic Hosts.

Thank you, Jill & Jeff, for an absolutely perfect stay in your beautiful home! You are, by far, the most gracious hosts we’ve encountered in our many vacation rentals. We were in town to celebrate my son’s law school graduation, and you made our visit such a pleasure. Jill even left some graduation decorations for us to use. The home is immaculate! The kitchen and bathrooms are extremely well stocked – we didn’t lack for a thing. Beds were very comfortable (we always travel with our own pillows), and lots of throw blankets were available to use while enjoying the huge couch. There are two separate dining areas, each with a large table, a separate bar area with mini fridge, as well as a game/poker table. We used it all! And to top it off, a large in-ground pool with several seating areas in the fenced back yard. Lots of games, pool toys, beach towels & cornhole. What more could you ask for?? Want to bring your dog? Go for it! Two extra-large metal pet crates are available for your furry family members. Our dog, Remy, had a blast!The hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable and ensure we had everything we needed. Our stay was preceded by several days of heavy rain, and the patio furniture cushions had been subjected to the elements. Jill & Jeff came over the morning after our arrival to wash them down so they would be ready for us to use over the weekend. They even sprayed for wasps hiding in the patio umbrellas. If visiting Williamsburg, this is the place to stay!
