Welcome to Azalea Hideaway! Our family loves living in one of the most amazing stretches of the beautiful North Coast. It’s a wonderful opportunity to be able to share our space and our private 1/2 acre backyard of beautiful Redwood forests with visitors. You will love exploring the areas beautiful beaches ,redwood trails, fishing, and shopping throughout the year. After all, our home is your home tonight! So let us be the first to say, welcome home!
Dogs are welcome with extra fee of $125 (per dog) and prior approval. Please email before booking if you are traveling with pets. LIMIT is 2 dogs.

Situated in a quiet and extremely desirable neighborhood in McKinleyville, this private location has so much to offer guests! This modern and comfortable home in the redwoods, with space for up to five lucky guests, features a 1/2 acre back yard, a concrete slab with ample seating and a gas grill, and plenty of privacy. Inside, this rental boasts an inviting living room, ample space for dining, a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a genuine feel of comfort throughout. This home is perfect for families!

At Upscale Exclusive, you are just a quick drive from the campus of Cal Poly Humboldt, downtown Arcata, and the Plaza. You'll find all of the conveniences close by including restaurants, shops, massage therapists, cafes, bookstores, and much, much more. For outdoor adventure, this home is only 25 miles south of Redwood National Park, 50 miles north of Humboldt Redwoods State Park, and only six miles from ocean beaches.

What a wonderful home quiet, clean and great location. the hosts are very responsive. The kitchen has anything you would need. We cooked many large meals and never needed anything. Loved our stay.

Clean, comfortable place to stay while visiting state/national parks. Beds were great, kitchen was well equipped and it’s situated in a quiet neighborhood. Only thing missing was a washing machine/dryer but we found a nice laundromat nearby. Some more outdoor furniture would add to this very nice AirB&B.

Good location

This is our second time staying here and will not be our last. Good location for visiting the beach, hiking in the forest, or just checking out all the restaurants nearby. Also, the backyard is a nice place to sit outside and it is fenced and large if you bring your pet.

House was amazing. It was stocked with everything you needed and a very convenient location. Nice quiet neighborhood. We brought our dog and loved sitting in the backyard where she had a huge yard to wander around and play. A couple nice additions would be a sun umbrella in the back, a BBQ and fire pit. But even without those items our stay was perfect!

Great stay near the Redwoods

This was a great spot for my group of two couples and one six year old to stay. Plenty of room and a well-equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable.

One of the best

We have done many VRBO rentals and on a scale of 1-10 this home was a 10 plus! Very clean, very organized and well supplied kitchen, comfortable bedding, very nice decor, great back yard and a very nice quiet neighborhood. There were no negatives. We definately recommend and would not hesitate to return ourselves.

Our nestled home sits on a half acer, backed and surrounded with a private view of old historic Redwoods. If that’s not enough enjoy being centrally located! Our homes just 5 minute from Downtown Arcata and 10 minutes from the coastal scene in Trinidad. We are also near hiking trails from the Hammond Trail to a short drive down to Azalea Reserve and much more. Upon arrival their is also guidebook full of attractions and local restaurants we highly recommend, we cannot wait for you to visit our home!
