Welcome to the Blue Horizon. Our luxurious, modern villa with hot tub by the cliff is a perfect place for a family vacation for up to 6 people, 2 story approx 2300sf + 1000sf of view lanais. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms with king beds and 2 bath. Upstairs has a very open floor plan and a 3rd bedroom with queen bed. Let the waves lull you to sleep every night, and wake up to incredible sunsets over the Pacific Ocean from your bed. Enjoy your coffee while watching dolphins, turtles and whales ( Nov to Feb) from your lanai. Fully equipped chef kitchen, spa, lanais, and everything you may need or want for a pleasant stay among family and friends. Ocean breezes keep the house cool and comfortable year-round. Great location, the property is within minutes from Hobby Garden Hawaii - 4.5 km / 2.8 mi , Pahoa Museum - 16.9 km / 10.5 mi and Hiʻiaka's Healing Hawaiian Herb Garden - 19.5 km / 12.1 mi

This beautiful home will remain in our memories forever. The view of sunrise & sunset from the lava rock cliffs and the sound of waves crashing at night are simply amazing. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and preparing meals in the chef’s kitchen. We highly recommend and hope to return someday!

Very nice house with great view

We really enjoyed staying at this house. The house was clean, well stocked kitchen, and had a great view of the crashing waves against the lava rock. It was perfect for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Highly recommend and would stay again

Family Vacation

The location and house were spectacular. The view is something out of movie. We had a great visit and the host was more than helpful, and expeditious in replying to emails. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for making our family vacation a memorable one.

Wonderful!! Would stay again!!

This home is beautiful. The host and property contact are very responsive. The home is well equipped, great attention to details. If this home is available, book and you will be very happy you did. It accommodates 5 to 6 people easily.

A Paradise Experience

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The views were breathtaking. It was so lovely that my kids wanted to live here and not go home. Since the location was next to the ocean, the breeze made our stay very comfortable day and night. We cooked most dinners and ate every meal on the balcony upstairs. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen and pantry. Close proximity to Hilo and an easy drive to the Volcano National Park. Just what we wanted.

Amazing and beautiful location

We stayed here with a few friends for 6 nights. The house sits on the ocean cliff and the view is just amazing. It is a beautiful and relaxing location to sit on the lanai and hear the waves crashing on the rocks. Since it is an oceanfront location, you always have a nice and refreshing breeze coming through the windows and doors. The house is spotless and well stocked, and the kitchen is well equipped if you like to prepare your own meals. There are 3 spacious bathrooms and an outside shower. Kim was a very helpful and responsive host. We truly appreciated the little welcome basket which was a nice gesture. Thank you and we will absolutely be coming back on our next trip to Hawaii.

INCREDIBLE Property - Highly Recommend

We have stayed in many VRBO's and this one tops the list. The deck / lanai pictured is incredible - the view is spectacular. The location on the cliff over the ocean means the house is breezy and comfortable day and night. We ate every meal on the main level deck and sat on the cushioned sofa and chairs to drink our morning coffee and read, and just enjoyed the sights and sounds of the ocean. The lower level deck is right off the master bedroom and the second bedroom and also features great views and the hot tub. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen and butler's pantry, and the dining room and living area are spacious. The bedrooms are comfortable and beautifully appointed. Had excellent communication with the hosts and they even provided special touches since we were celebrating my wife's birthday. Close proximity to Hilo and we also enjoyed visiting Keaau and Pahoa, which are also a short drive away. This is truly an outstanding property - could not recommend more highly.

A Slice of Paradise in Hawaii

A Breathtaking Haven Overlooking the Pacific - A Perfect 10 Out of 10!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house perched on the lava cliffs just a short drive from Hilo, Hawaii. Words fail to capture the sheer beauty and serenity that awaited us during our unforgettable vacation. From the moment our family arrived, we were immediately mesmerized by the panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the waves crashing against the cliffs just a few short steps away. The location of this house was amazing! Sitting atop the lava cliffs, the house offered an unparalleled vantage point from which to witness the raw power and beauty of the ocean. I highly recommend grabbing some local fruit (papaya, pineapple, mango, bananas, etc.) at a local roadside stand and having breakfast on the balcony here. In the evenings, it was nice to relax in the hot tub while watching the waves crash and spray on the cliffs. The house itself had a thoughtful attention to detail. It is evident that the owners take great pride in their property. Our stay at this remarkable house on the lava cliffs near Hilo was an experience that my family and I will always remember. The unparalleled views, the soothing sounds of crashing waves, and the beautifully maintained house all combined to create a perfect 10 out of 10 stay. If you seek a sanctuary that effortlessly combines natural beauty, comfort, and tranquility, look no further.
