Great location and breathtaking views off the sea cliffs. Very much off the beaten path/ quiet - we loved that we could hear the waves crashing on the lava rocks outside. The pool and hot tub were much appreciated by our elementary school age kids. The property is older but well maintained.

Unbelievably beautiful place! Dreamlike location, top-tier star gazing. Easy drives to all the best of Puna. The house was perfect for our group of 7. Comfortable, well-provisioned. This is a cool place on the volcanic cliffs. A beautiful yard that we enjoyed. The house is good but it needs some upkeep. We did have a few maintenance issues which they worked with us to resolve.

We loved our time at this property. The house cools down quickly once you open all the windows. Check in was super easy and our two questions were answered quickly via text. The home felt like a destination unto itself. Watching the sunrise and turtles in the AM and relaxing in the pool at night were perfect ways to bookend our Hilo-side adventures.

Nice house, but worn and needs to be refreshed, particularly the living room couch. And absence of Kleenex, paper napkins, coffee filters, scissors, and aluminum foil was a nuisance. Also, the handrail to the top floor needs to be extended 3' so that it reaches the top floor.

This house and the surrounding area are perfect if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, tropical vacation. The house was clean and beautifully situated if you enjoy listening to the sound of the ocean (which we LOVE). The neighborhood was walkable and peaceful. We would stay here again and again.

The house is just like photos. Our family of 6 had plenty of room. Well equipped kitchen, every room has its own individual patio with sitting area (even the little one)the pool and hot tub next to the ocean made it really amazing. Definitely 5 stars!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed 6 nights with three kids (11, 9 and 6). We loved staying here. The pool was the perfect size for the kids to swim around safely and for us adults to cool off. Loved watching turtles in the ocean and drinking coffee in the hot tub. There is no AC so the house did get warm when the windows were closed but cooled off pretty quickly once opened up and sleeping with the sound of the ocean waves was great. Kitchen was nicely stocked, house was clean. We enjoyed exploring during the day then spending evenings at the house. It felt like our own little resort.

Pretty perfect

It was beautiful. Hot without windows open, but cooled off quickly. Small ants food get into a few things like food and tooth brush so put everything in sealed bags, but it definitely did not ruin our stay. Kids lived the pool and adults loved the hot tub. Can't beat the view!!

Great experience on the Volcano side of the island

Unique property right on the water with waves crashing in 24x7. Sunrise is worth waking up for. Kids had a blast and we got good use out of the pool and kitchen. We did a lot of activities within 2 hours of the house, highly recommend getting a tour guide for volcanoes national park to learn about all the unique details.

Unique location

Property was as shown in pictures. It is a bit of a drive from amenities and the town of Hilo so just be prepared before heading to the house. It offers a private and quiet area to relax. The hot tub was great at the end of the day. Wonderful views of the ocean and neat volcanic shoreline.
