Come enjoy lagoon life at "Breezy Bungalow" in Gulf Shores! This 4-bedroom, 3-bath vacation rental house sits directly on a private beach overlooking Little Lagoon in West Beach. This wood-styled bungalow has a quaint and cozy feel, perfect for relaxing and recharging after a long day in the sun! Enjoy stunning views from the open living space or the spacious porch. If you prefer to head over to the Gulf-front beach for the day, take a short walk across the street to enjoy the white sandy beaches and sparkling blue waters!

The open living space in this beach home contains a living room, dining area, and full-service kitchen. The master bedroom offers a Queen bed and a private bathroom. The next 3 bedrooms offer 1 queen and 2 rooms have 2 twin beds making a total of 4 twin beds, and all 4 rooms can accommodate up to 8 guests. The whole group will love spending time on the large back porch, complete with chairs for sun-tanning, relaxing in the shade, reading a book, or socializing with friends and family.

Be sure to pack your fishing poles and nets to catch redfish, mullet, trout, and more from the Bungalow's private beach area. We also highly recommend renting a kayak or paddleboard to get some exercise and truly experience the Lagoon's 10-mile stretch of waterfront.

Very clean. Plenty of blankets. My only complaint, and it’s not really a complaint, but more of a wish, is I wish it had some sort of covered area on the back deck so you cools still sit outside if it rained. Otherwise, it was 5 stars

Great location , but a little shanty

We had a great time. The location was amazing backed up to the bay and across the street from the ocean with beach access right across the street. The things that were negative were there was a lot of repairs that need to be made; soft spots on the floor, insulation that was not covered underneath the house, Mold growing by the vents,the dryer did not work, and the fixtures in the showers need to be updated. We were a little concerned about the condition of the home.

Breezy Bungalow Summer 2025

My family and I had a great time! The house was clean and in a great location, away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores but just a short drive to be in the middle of everything. It’s backed up to the lagoon, with beach access right across the street. We took our paddle boards and loved taking them out on the lagoon and walked across the street to the beach everyday for fishing and swimming. The only downside that some of the decking under the house has fallen off and there is insulation exposed and some falling down. But that didn’t affect our stay at all.

We had a good trip, but upon arriving I have to admit that we were second guessing our choice. There were missing ceiling plywood in the parking area and there several pieces of insulation hang down. They had been there quite a while as they were molded. The picnic table on the patio was unusable to us as it was in really bad shape. The patio furniture was broken or fabric on chairs was split. The house had MANY places where water had gotten in the house and molded. Pictures attached. We did however have a good experience. Just thought you might want to know what we encountered.

Perfect location!!!

My family really loved this bungalow. The location is awesome quiet and right across the street from the public beach access. The deck is so peaceful! The house itself was just fine. The only problem we had was insulation all over the deck we had to clean up. But other than that, it was really great and I'd love to go back!

Good place for a family with a dog on the lagoon

Great waterfront property to wade in the water and let the dog swim since there aren’t many pet-friendly areas in gulf shores. House was suitable.

Great place. Cleanliness could be better. And be aware, the property management has maintenance come by a few times through out the week. But over all a great time.

Great stay, clean property.

This house was great. It’s just a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the boulevard. The lagoon is behind the house. It should be noted that there is not dock access to this house. The property was very clean and the check-in and check-out process was a breeze. We couldn’t figure out a couple lights but we managed.

Property Needs Some Remodeling

The location of this property was amazing. Being right on the lagoon, we saw herons, sting rays, and hermit crabs every day. We were away from the hustle of the GS center so it was quiet with little traffic. The house was is pretty rough shape though. The master bath had mold on the fan and air ducts. The fans did not work in any of the bathrooms. The toilet in the master bath was very loose and not level. Many of the lights did not work in the house. The cooktop was cracked in a few places and at least one of the cracks spanned across the entire top. Only one of the burners functioned properly. The wine cooler did not work either. The windows in the dining area would not stay up when we tried to open them. It was disappointing based on the price of the rental.

Fishing Trip

House was exactly as advertised. Clean with old Gulf Shores charm. We stayed here with a group of colleagues from work. 6 adult men in between fishing trips out of Orange Beach.
