Our stay was excellent. Jim was easy to communicate with, the directions were plain and simple, and the house was great. The AC worked great which was necessary with the August heat. It’s such an ideal location so it was so accessible to everything we had scheduled. The area is great too with easy access to coffee shops, bars and restaurants. If we ever go to Soulard or STL again, we would absolutely stay here again. I highly recommend this property and host!

Great location for a stay in St Louis, and right off the interstate. Lots of little restaurants and pubs within walking distance, and the area is pretty safe. Downside is the noise at night, but this didn’t deter from our stay. I’d definitely come back! Host left lots of recommendations for places to see and try out. I’d definitely go back!

We loved The Doxie house and getting in and out of the property was super easy. Someone mentioned the stairs, yes they are steep be aware , but I have 2 bad knees and managed them just fine. The kitchen was a dream. We didn’t use it but so wonderful. We had all we needed with our stay. Would definitely rent again. Beautiful decor though out the rental.

Enjoyed the stay, the place was nice. The owner was great, we had an issue and asked him about it and he got out to the place and fixed it right away. A few notes however, if you have a hard time with stairs this is not the place for you. Bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are steep.

Super comfortable townhouse and an amazing location. There is a little noise but that’s to be expected with location. Great food, drinks, and shops within walking distance.

Great location! Wonderful space, well appointed. We appreciated the snacks and extras everywhere. Will stay here again. What a great time we had. We always felt safe. The neighborhood was so much fun!

This property was easy and the host was fantastic. The neighborhood was awesome for morning walks to coffee shops and also for drinks and nightlife. We will stay here again and recommend it to all of our friends.

This is in the historical area of Soulard. Its an amazing location with plenty to do within 5 min walming distance. The private parking is also very nice to know that I always had a place to park my car.

Everything with the stay was great and the hosts were great as well. The only problem was with the bar right on the outside of the place. It was very loud all night with people yelling and cars driving past.

Great location close to everything 10mins away from City Museum, Foundry, Arch, Union Station etc. Beds were very comfortable. Bring a sound machine it’s loud at night bars are everywhere around the area but we slept good with the machine on. The place needs a good deep clean inside and outside it does look a bit dilapidated but for the price it’s sort of expected to not be perfect. Owner allowed us to check in early which was a bonus and was very easy to communicate with.

Stayed for my 30th birthday weekend with some friends. The Moxie was a great place to stay for this type of occasion or any occasion for that matter! It was true to the pictures you see on the site! Very clean and well taken care of. The location is perfect for walking to everything in Soulard, we didn’t drive anywhere the entire weekend, it was great! We also felt very safe with our two private parking spaces. The host was a terrific communicator as well, very responsive. All in all it was one of my best birthdays! I highly recommend this spot!

We had an amazing time in St. Louis, and staying at The Doxie was absolutely perfect. Its location couldn’t have been better—right across the street from a shuttle to the ballpark and just a few minutes to downtown. The unit had everything we needed. and the neighborhood was lively and vibrant. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!

Lovely digs! Cozy with all the touches of home away from home. Exactly as described. Per other guests, if you are light sleeper, plan for earbuds when the bar next door is active.

Nice getaway

We were very happy with the rental and the owners were very pleasant. The only downside would be the location is right by a bar and the noise level went on until one in the morning. The house itself was very charming and we appreciated the amenities left by the owners.
