Treat yourself by staying at one of the nicest lake homes, on one of central MN's nicest lakes! This spacious home just went through a complete remodel and is the perfect place to relax with family and friends. This home has many upscale touches and can sleep up to 12 people. The shoreline on Lake Shamineau is flat, sandy, and clear, making it a great place to swim with the kids, paddle boat, and fish off the dock. The home backs Pine Ridge golf course and has activities for all seasons.

Awesome! Everything was perfect and enjoyed by our family of 10! Loved the beach! This home was clean, comfortable, spacious and the large dining room table was great! It was furnished with everything you might need and then some. Our kids and grandkids loved the kayaks and paddle boat. Would definitely return!

The lake property is perfect for family get togethers. Lots of space for meals, sleep and activities. If you bring a boat, there is a private dock across the street and a beautiful lake for cruising and swimming. Travis is a great host and has equipped the home with everything a group could need.

Beautiful venue! Expansive sandy beach on pristine Lake Shamineau. The home is beautifully decorated and well-stocked with staples so no unexpected runs for salt and pepper. Best VRBO experience yet.

Perfect for family vacation on a beautiful lake

Exceptionally equipped, clean, and plenty of room for our family of 5 adults and 4 young grandchildren. We particularly appreciated the toys the grandchildren could use. The beds were very comfortable. The owners were very responsive. Highly recommended!!

Great Vacation!

We loved this property! Everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable (they even had many pillow choices), the kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We had rain a couple of nights we were there and kids stayed entertained with all the indoor games/toys and we were able to hang out in the garage too! The only downside was having to cross the road to go to the lake. The road was not busy but it was hard with our 4 year olds. Overall experience was great and we would definitely stay here again!! Travis the property owner was very responsive and accommodating.

Family's home base for son's wedding

We rented this property over a long weekend for our son's wedding in Cushing. We had 6 adults and 3 children across 3 generations. Home was very clean, very cozy, well stocked with nice little extras (snacks, etc). It was perfect for our weekend. Owner very responsive, both by VRBO messaging and by text. Thank you!

Outstanding Experience!

Property layout was great! The home was well furnished with all amenities we needed. Everything was so nice! Easy access to boat launch (very close to lake home). Garage was a very nice feature, we were able to put our fishing boat in the garage at night which was great! Would highly recomend this rental.

Perfect Family Gathering

Our family all under one roof. We absolutely loved this rental. We felt like we were at home. There is a large table for family meals and game nights. Plenty of space to spread out for privacy. The grandkids loved all the extras that were provided like the air hockey table, games and paddle boat. We have rented cabins for over 20 years in Minnesota and I must say this was the best! The place was very clean. It probably was one of the best places that we have rented, and we have taken the family to quite a few places already. Born and raised in this beautiful area of MN. Our family now resides in AZ full-time, but visits our lake house in MN as frequently as our schedule allows. We enjoy the outdoors and love life at the lake. We are happy to have a place that we can share with others, so others cane also make great family memories.

This property is new, modern, and quite frankly the nicest in the area. This home went through a complete remodel in July of 2022, where the home was transformed into a place that you don't want to leave. As soon as you enter this house you will see that this isn't your typical vacation home, especially for a lake home in central MN. This home is well appointed and continues to have the best reviews of all properties in the area.

Staying here is awesome all times of the year! Spring fishing, summer vacations, fall leave colors, and winter snowmobiling. The home is setup to be comfortable all year long and there is always something to do!

High-end appliances, new furniture, and premium quality mattresses, including a Tempur-Pedic mattress in the primary suite.

A incredibly flat lot with no stairs into the main living area (ramp into front door) and no stairs at the lake shoreline. This is very rare for a lake home in this area and works really well for young kids and anyone that has a hard time getting around when stairs are involved.

Awesome private beach area with great swimming and fishing right off of the dock.

Close to incredible fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding, etc., and etc. Most people visit here for a week with their family at the lake, but others come specifically for other awesome outdoor activities beyond the lake.
