Cozy 2BR Cottage in Downtown Warm Springs (A)

Newly renovated cottage in Downtown Warm Springs! This listing is for one side of the property (A). Conveniently located in walking distance to all of the shops in downtown, 1 mile from the Little White House, 1/2 mile from the US National Fish Hatchery and 4 miles to the beautiful hiking trails in the FDR State Park. Additionally, you will be only a 20 minute drive to Callaway Gardens and only a 25 minute drive to the Wild Animal Safari Park in Pine Mountain.

This home was built in 1950 as a duplex and was owned by one family. The parents lived on one side and their adult child on the other. The two units are separated by an enclosed foyer with prevents any of the walls from adjoining.

The renovations were done to preserve the legacy of the home, but to also bring it into modern times. The original hardwood floors have been refinished and all of the original solid wood doors were kept. The home preserves the feel of Historic Warm Springs, but satisfies the eye and mood with a more modern design.

Enjoy streaming your favorite shows on 50" 4k TVs in the living room and king bedroom and a slightly smaller 43" 4k TV in the queen bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the utensils and pots and pans you may need.

Great place and location

This place was very clean and met our needs perfectly. The host's correspondence was timely and check in and out was seamless. We would stay here again.

Family wedding at The Venue at Warm Springs GA

Place was fixed up nicely, the beds were nice and comfortable. Very convenient for use it is next door to the The Venue and two blocks to the shops in Warm Springs so it made the whole affair very comfortable.

Cute little house

Stayed at this property and went to the pumpkins at Calloway Gardens and also did the day time walking tour. This was about 20 mins from Calloway Gardens.

The home was well kept, clean, and felt like a home. The property manager was great about communicating. The location was so close to all that warm springs has to offer!

Great Family House

My husband, 4 year old and I overall enjoyed our stay here while taking a family vacation. The host was always responsive to us and the check in/check out process was clear. The place was very clean and the beds were comfy. There are cute local shops and places to eat within walking distance. We were very happy with the house! The only unfortunate thing I want to point out, which is outside the host/house's control, is the noise in the surrounding area. The house is pretty close to a very active train track and this woke us up multiple times a night. There was also a dog nearby who barked at random times during the middle of the night. Ear plugs may have helped with this, but I'm also a light sleeper.

Poor Hospitality & False Accusations

False accusations of breaking things that I didn't even touch (i.e. the shower rack had a tilt when I got there and it was blamed on me but it was already tilted and not broken so it went unused; we had trash yet there was no outside trash can or dumpster to throw away debris yet I was charged for throwing it in the trash inside; Lastly, if the house check out was at 11a with no occupants inside and after loading the car it is a few minutes thereafter someone please tell me why I’m being charged a late fee for that.????? It's just a scam if you ask me! I give this place a 1 even though it was clean because I left it just the way I came in and the host tried to rip me off by charging numerous fees. Renter’s beware!!! I've never in my life seen anything like this 🙄

Hello Sophia. I'm sorry you feel the way that you do and wish we had talked before you posted your review. The team of cleaners, whom I trust, did report the towel rack issue after your stay. It was noticed because they put all of the clean towels on the rack after each stay. As far as the trash bin, it is kept behind the house. Many previous guests have used it. Lastly, it is stated in the house rules that are fist sent out when a guest books and prior to checkout, that the guest may be subject to a late checkout fee if they checkout late. The cleaner rode around for a while waiting for you guys to exit the property. Additionally, there was another booking that day so the property had to be ready by 4pm. Being that both sides had been booked, the cleaner needed all of the time possible to clean the property. This small window of time is common in short-term rentals. The late fees are in place to encourage current guests to check-out on time so as to not impact the check-in time/experience for the incoming guest(s). As a short-term rental host with over 100+ reviews across multiple platforms and 98% of them being 5 stars, this is definitely not a scam. I truly apologize for your experience and wish it was different.

Very clean. Safe neighborhood walking distance to downtown. Modern and up to date. Two senior sisters. Host was easily contacted and communicated well. Highly recommend.

Work rental

I stayed in this adorable rental while I was in warm springs working. It had everything you needed from home except your personal belongings and clothes. It looked exactly like the photos even cuter. Ryan was great and very helpful all along the way. You want be disappointed. 😁

I was born and raised in Warm Springs, GA. I was always so ready to move so I could experience new things. Right after high school graduation, I was off to Atlanta where I attended Georgia State University. I lived in and enjoyed the city of Atlanta through college and a few years after graduation. The Recission of 2008 hit and I found myself without a job. After 6 months of not working and no offers, I got a job offer in Columbia SC. It has been in Columbia that I have built my career in IT, met my wife and started my family.

Now things have come full circle. The small town from which I was so eager to leave, I have now found myself reinvesting into it. Investing in real estate has reconnected me to my hometown and has allowed me to connect with it in so many ways that I never did as a child. I've met so many wonderful people on the journey to get these projects going and finished.

I have put so much hard work, time, sacrifice, love and thought into this property. When people come to Warm Springs, I want this property to be their first option.

With this property you will get some of the nostalgia of Historic Warm Springs as this home was built in 1950. It was home to a single family, even though it was built as a duplex. The two units are separated by a thoughtfully engineered 15 ft wide foyer which prevents walls from being shared, yet it also will allow the two units to be adjoined which the property is rented by a larger family.

When I first visited the property and did a walkthrough, I knew it was something that I wanted and that people would enjoy. It had all of the charm of great craftmanship. Think about it, all of the structure of the home is 70+ years old and it is still standing. My job was to give it a fresh updated look while still preserving the charm of it's original state. I think I was able to accomplish that.

The location of this property is superb! Once you get there, you can literally walk about 90 seconds down the street and you're at the shops in downtown Warm Springs. You really get to enjoy all of the amenities of this town and it's a really different experience when you can walk to everything.
